MY BMW M3 E92 COMPETITION PACK WITH MPE EXHAUST. NEW PROJECT

- Hello everyone,
I recently bought another car and I decided to get an E92 M3.
It took about 6 months to find this car as i wanted a Competition Pack and it had to be mineral white with fox red interior.
It has the carbon pack from factory and also came with the Performance exhaust which was a big plus as the standard one doesn't really do the car justice.
With the performance exhaust I think it's just loud enough. You can hear the sound at the end of the video if anyone would like to hear it.
I have added 15mm spacers at the front and 12mm for the rears.
I have also put my private plate on the car that goes with the rest of the private plates M3 I OCD 😄
Some might say I have an Obsessive Car Disorder 🤣 and this plate goes very well I think.
I also done some underside cleaning and painting.
Thank you for watching and I hope you enjoy the video!

That's a lovely looking M3. Best one I've seen!
Congrats 👏
Jelly good very clean car only one in the country you can use as a mirror
🤣🤣🤣🤣 The only one that can use as a mirror 🤣🤣🤣. You crack me up
Thank you Olly! 🙂🖐
Absolutely gorgeous, congrats!
Thanks a lot Anthony!
@@Sam_AMG Quick question for you! I was wondering if you might be a mechanic by any chance. Been having this issue with my e92 m3 recently and can't really figure what it is exactly.
@@Ajlyu Hello Anthony,
I have car experience and I do work on my own cars but I'm new to the e92 M3 world 😁.
What problem do you have with your car? I don't know if you're a member on www.m3cutters.co.uk but it is one of the best M3 forums and some very knowledgeable and helpful members.
@@Sam_AMG Gotcha! Thank you for the recommendation, I'll definitely look into it. This is the the problem I'm having, it's like a random ticking sound: ua-cam.com/video/0VpVtRQDqu0/v-deo.html Feel free to let me know if you might have any ideas! =)
Bro you live my dream life
She looks clean man!
Btw check the gutter under the hood, my friends ecu got water damaged just make sure that’s empty from leaves and crap
Thank you!
Ah ok, I didn't know that, I'll get it checked out.
Cheers 👍
Looks so good
Thank you Kieran!
Another great example from you Sam , have to say that's the colour scheme I would have in the E92 wheels paint trim , some red type wingbacks would set it of ,personal taste really my downside is the front seats could of been more special , still a cracking car , good job mate 👍
Thanks a lot!
I agree with you regarding the seats, they could have been better. BMW does the performance front seats for this cars but they cost £4k second hand 😲 and then you have the retrim them as they come in alcantara only. As much as I'd love to have them..... £6k in total just for 2 seats is a bit too much for me 😁.
Love it 😍
Thank you! 🙂🖐
Absolutely stunning buddy, I have a E92 M3 in Speed Yellow, and I’m just thinking of starting cleaning up the underside, wether it will get to your standards I’m not sure, beautiful M3 you have there buddy.
Hello Pete,
Thank you very much!
WOW speed yellow! That's a rare colour! I think I only know of one speed yellow competition pack here in the UK. I tried to buy it but the owner wasn't ready to sell it.
@@Sam_AMG yes they are rare as rocking horse, that would be John with the other one then, we parked next to each other at gaydon 2 years ago, they looked stunning next to one another. Yours is absolutely the cleanest one I’ve seen
@@petejacklin7248 Thank you, appreciate that!
Ah so there are two! You should keep hold of it as it seems like it's getting harder and harder to find a good e92 M3 nowadays, especially one that is as rare as your M3.
It was John that I asked if he'd sell his M3. He has plans for it and told me he's not ready to sell the car as he wants to take it on a track 🙂. He's done some very tasteful mods to the car too!
If things return to normal and there is any car meets like the one at gaydon, it would be nice to meet up but I'll warn you, I might end up asking you if you'd consider selling the car to me 😄. I wouldn't say no to such a rare car.
@@Sam_AMG yes, I’ll be going to gaydon if it ever gets up and going again , I haven’t used mine for quite some time now, it just sits on the charger under its cover, did you go to Santa pod a week or so ago with yours?
@@petejacklin7248 No I didn't go to Santa pod. I wish I did as I heard it was good. I haven't had a chance to use this car much since I bought it. I got it in May and I've only driven it once and that was the day i picked it up. I will have to take it out one of this sunny days we are having at the moment as the nice weather doesn't last long in UK 😂
How much did you spend on the bottom restoration roughly ? Did you just sandblasted and spray to get this result ? Or dry ice blasted it ? Vapor honed I’m intreged how you got it to this point this clean
Hi Jens,
I done it all myself. To be fair the car is low mileage and it wasn't rusty underneath so that helped to get it looking this clean.
First I jet washed the underside of the car and then I sprayed it with a product that I use when cleaning the underside of my cars. It's called viro-sol. I then scrubbed all the components and sprayed it with viro-sol again. I left it 5 mins and rinsed the underside. All the dirt came off.
Once the car was dry, I sanded down a few components, primed some of the parts and then painted them.
If I have the time and the opportunity later on, i would like to drop everything off a sand blast every part individually. This was more of a tidy up so it looks a bit better but there is always room for improvements 😁
Also, if you do any kind of painting to the car, I would strongly recommend you buy a cover to cover the whole car before painting anything so you dont get any paint on the body.
I bought a cover that bodyshops use and as you put it over the car, it kind of sticks to the paint and protects it.
I've uploaded a pic if you'd like to see it

@@Sam_AMG i love the m3 the black and blue one the underneath looked brand spanking new! Only thing I feel a bit bummed out is the fact you didn’t disassemble every component and sandblasted it or ice blasted it that would be REAL OCD aproved a rattle can job is just not that A+++ quality if u ask me.
@@jensduhem8904 Thank you Jens!
The blue M3, I took everything off as I done the restorations when I plated the rear subframe and I could do a better job.
Of course it would have been better to sand blast everything on the e92 M3 but this is just a tidy up for now. I just wanted the car to look better than before.
Hopefully I will do a full underside restoration on the e92 and get it done exactly how I want it but I am so busy at the moment, its impossible to do it now.
Thanks again 🖐
