@@LorrieNunemaker ah. Don’t you worry about that. I felt like it was a learning experience for me as I’m kind of a newbie. I appreciate ALL your fun things that you share. Have a wonderful week
Thank you so much Lorrie! I appreciate the time and effort that you've put in making this pattern and video for us. So cute and useful! I love making your projects for myself and for gifts. I always get so many compliments from my friends and family with your designs!🤗
Awesome video! I love how you show on the multi and single needle machines (even though I know it’s a lot of work!) those turned out so nice!! I may need to make a few! I have the Janome MC230E and the MC550E so another reason I like your dual machines!!!
Love the wallet and video. Thank you! I’m going to get the magnetic snaps with your link. Can’t wait to try. I think I’ll monogram the back piece as well!
Made one today on my commercial 6 needle Toyota 830 on cork fabric. Perfect sew out with the exception of the the sewn snap location; either that location of the sewn snap location is a bit low or the top strap is a bit short. Wish I could show a pic. (so I picked out the circle of stitches for the snap location and installed snap where the top closure ended on the main piece).
I’ve seen this style. Of card holder on several videos. About the only thing I would change is to use RFID fabric in it and put a clear vinyl pocket on the back.
Hey Lorrie!! I love your videos!! Super easy and fun to watch and make them!! My embroidery it's a brother 4 x4 hoop but unfortunately and I uploaded the file it's a tiny bit bigger so my 4x4 doesn't recognize it. Is any different file that I will be able to use!! I have the email file + I downloaded on from the link!!
Lori, thanks! I was so excited to do this project. I had a couple of issues, and not sure what happened. I'm using the .jef file. I have a Janome 12000 Horizon. The first color stitched the tab. The second color stitched the square and the two lines. I put my vinyl down and it only stitched the outline for the pocket, it didn't stich the outline to hold down the entire vinyl. The other issue was that I didn't have Kam Snaps, so I put regular plastic snaps. However, my tab was too short. I have a picture I can send you, but can't seem to attached it here. The top of the background where the tab is, is folded. I wasn't able to sew the Lobster claw on because it would have been shorter. Do you think this was because I used the plastic snaps instead of the magnetic KAM snaps? Is it possible to get a pattern with a longer tab? Can you take a look at these two issues and see where I may have made mistakes. Thanks so much. I love your videos and tutorials.
I'm so sorry. Apparently something happened when I batch saved the files. A step was dropped and the sizing was distorted somehow. I have revised the file and reuploaded. You can find it here. lorrienunemaker.com/product/ith-card-wallet-embroidery-file-4x4-5x7/
After several times trying to download the right files, I finally have a complete package. I have not tested it yet, but will this weekend. Thank you so much!
Hi All, This stitched out beautifully until I put on the last piece of vinyl. When the last piece stitches, my bottom section where all of the layers are starts to stitch with alot of extra thread, that loops and bunches and does really catch all 3 materials. It looks bad. I believe it is because there are alot of layers, but I don't know how I should adjust the tension to be able to sew through all those layers. Any suggestions. I am using a Janome Memory Craft 12000 single needle. Thanks so much for any suggestions.
Like others have shared, I appreciate your tutorials and this design in particular. Q. Do you think there is an easy way to convert to quilting cotton / other material in lieu of vinyl? Thank you again for the many tutorials you share. I look forward to so many more.
I’m not very good at sewing but I know how to sew some things. Could I use a regular sewing machine or do I need what you are using? Your machine looks complicated to learn and expensive but fascinating to watch.🤷♀️. You do some wonderful projects with your machine!
Oh shoot! I forgot to add that to the video description. I’ll do that right now. Thanks for reminding me. I got it from here zorellefabrics.com/collections/retail-vinyl-faux-leather/retail-vinyl
Hi Lorrie, I have learned so much watching your tutorials, so many thanks and keep them coming .. I have a question thou, I’m hoping you can help with .. I have downloaded this design and I’m have unzipped the file but when Open it with essentials it says error and can’t open. Do you have any advise as I’m desperate to make this! Many thanks Suzi
Make Sure you aren’t opening the file. Once you unzip it it will create another file. Inside that file is all of the different formats. You need to choose whatever one ends in the format you need for your machine. Ie pes, dst, jef
I don't know if anyone else has this problem but I made this and the strap is at least 1/2 inch too short. It doesn't come close to the hole for the snap.
See prior comments and or video description. Somehow something happened when I batch saved it in all of the different formats. . I have revised the file. I’m so sorry for the inconvenience
Thanks for fixing the glitch. The first one I stitched out, I thought, "this can't be right". The second stitch out with the fix was perfect.
Thank you. I’m so sorry for the glitch. I feel so bad for all those who got the bad files. Wa wa waaaa

Thank you Lorrie , for the free pattern. Can’t wait to try it.

my strap stitched out too short? What did I do wrong? I used the 5x7 .dst pattern
