This is a fairly solid basis on the classes, only thing I could think of was to delve in a bit deeper into viable specs for certain classes, for example warriors being able to run as Arms or Fury, mages getting pretty chunky with Arcane around T5, warlocks having fire destro(up until T5-6), shadow destro(T5-6) and affliction(generally want one of the warlocks to be affli and it's quite solid for AoE and decent singletarget) as solid alternatives.
Thank you ! I know a lot of people are asking why arms, arcane, etc weren’t mentioned - in interest of keeping the video digestible, I limited it to one build for the classes with multiple dps specs
@@ZGTGaming Yeah that's what I figured, most people who are looking at videos like these don't want to get overwhelmed with information from the get go. Definitely a good video again, keep it up my guy.
Hey, thanks for the comment and I appreciate you watching the vid. I wish you could see my rough script for the video (just bullet notes on talking points) it went into much more detail on everything and in this case I went ahead and explained the mechanics of totem twisting. Unfortunately, I had a strict 20 minute limit for myself so it was digestible by everyone, including beginners. I’m taking feedback like this to the next guide, maybe I’ll be more loose about the length of the video
I have hunter, paladin and druid at 60. Really like being able to fill more roles than just dps. Primarily meaning tanking. As a prot paladin you are welcome in dungeons and its probably very fun, but in raids there are not more than 1 I think. That means getting a whole new gear set for Ret or Holy. Where as to feral, they have an easier time gearing two roles and can fit in a raid in multiple spots while still needed in dungeons since they are tanks. Powershifting also seems more fun compared to Seal, Judge, Seal, CS, Judge, Seal, CS... So leaning toward druid atm. Also dont they get a flight discount? Seems like a good class for me, since I still raid in Shadowlands with my guild every tier and play other games too. Not too hard to gear up, versatile and needed in all content.
arms will get only 1 spot due to blood frenzy talent for phys dmg boost but is behind in dmg compared to fury, have my fury on TBC 5MAN server in T5/Zul Aman gear and no arms warrior in simillar gear does not come even close to fury dps, really dont know how ppl come into that arms warrior does bigger dmg than fury in TBC smh
@@Nirthee Nobody thinks that arms does more damage than fury, not sure why you'd even say that. Arms is brought purely for blood frenzy and any dps warriors beyond that play fury instead because it does more personal dps. My point is that arms will be more common than fury because many raids will only bring one dps warrior and they will probably be arms.
@@uoyredrum well some of my guildmates from classic were hyping up arms in terms of dmg and usefullness, probably I misunderstood, I understand the blood frenzy benefit of arms in raid, not sure tho why raids wouldnt get 1-2 furys tho (fury dps is very underrated imo even tho I understand they dont bring anything to raid besides dps), everyone wanna have pure best raid compositions smh.. with trillion locks and hunters. this is one of the things I hate about Classic and will probably hate on TBC classic as well with rejection of off-meta classes and builds (looking at you Classic ret pala, ele sham and feral) I guess furys and rogues will know a lot of their rage from Classic
@@Nirthee you probably will see fury warriors in a lot of raids, they do great cleave. They don't bring any buffs so they're not optimal per SE but they're probably good for speed running tbh
I've known for a long time I will play shadow priest, do you think it might become a overcrowded spec because you only need 1-2 and every class guide/list/etc is raving about shadow priest being the most useful and most versatile spec working in PvP pve and being required in raids until perhaps sunwell afaik
It may be a bit crowded, but many players prefer the classes with the highest damage potential over support - IMO with how many guilds that will be running in the first phase you should have no problems :)
Been playing SP since classic and currently playing in TBC, and I can ensure you there's not as many of us as you think. Everybody just rolled lock and hunter to do the big numbers and honestly I'm happy with that.
I love the enthusiasm man, but this guide was just a sampler. Couldn’t include major details. I’m in the process of making more in depth guides, but I haven’t done ret yet. (Not sure if I’ll be able to before launch)
"Vampiric Embrace is also returning from vanilla." What? Return from where? It never left, not sure you're aware, it's there in vanilla/classic and it will remain in TBC too, goes nowhere.

What do you mean by chunky?
Nice to see shamans pushing the meters there , Draenei hunter tho innit
Enhancement is more than just ES/FS and SS, dont forget totem twisting, keeping searing totem up as well as FET/FNT

To be honest you could say this for a lot of specs. Holy and ret paladins, enh and ele shamans, rogues, druids of all specs, etc.

time stamps would be nice
Funny how the top 2 dps are A. Both per classes and B. Both 1 button lol
you wont use vampiric embrace during all of the fight - too much aggro to use
I can’t believe 13 year old me chose to play boomkin in tbc and even into wrath lol
No arms warrior ?
No mention of seal twisting on Ret? Bro that’s like 20% DPS increase or more. Not speccing into seal or command is a huge mistake

Warlocks never had to use Hellfire, they are just assholes that like to annoy the healers. Warlocks always had rain of fire aoe in Classic.
Haha this video didn't live up at all to what it was preaching, arcane mage is top dps spec in the game right now
this video aged poorly. no offence :)

It’s just the verbiage I chose to use, I’m saying the same thing as you
