This is a tool assisted speedrun (TAS) of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D that aims to be the game as fast as possible with no restrictions. Unlike a real-time attack (RTA) speedrun where a player sits down to complete a game in one sitting, this run utilizes an emulator with specialized tools to such as savestates and frame by frame pausing to complete what is essentially a perfect speedrun, or at least as close as someone can theoretically get. As such, this speedrun in its final form took somewhere between 2 or 3 months to create. A comprehensive breakdown of my documentation as well as an in-depth explanation of this TAS can be found in TASVideos author notes linked above.

Great speedrun because i couldn't tell if he was just messing around or if he was actually doing a skip the entire time

EDIT: Just read the TAS notes. Apparently that was introduced in Majora Mask 3D and can do a lot of damage to Majora, thus why the fight ends very quickly.
It happens at the end of phase 1 too. Crazy

It is I, erinexplosives, both unimportant and inactive. I guess I chose the right time to make another post, though. We are witnessing history on TASVideos, as this is the SECOND EVER 3DS submission for the website! And what a TAS it is! benstephens showcases complete mastery in this brilliant TAS of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D, completing the game as fast as possible while accidentally doing the coveted Poop Pants category in the process. The author has put in a monumental effort to cover all their bases in the wall of submission text (it's a lot of words), which is necessary when we're talking about a potential second maiden publication for a new platform. Everything that matters is covered in painstaking detail. I would normally just judge the TAS on its own merits since every other TAS I've voted on is on a system that already has (an) accepted emulator(s), but since this is the second 3DS submission, it isn't enough for the TAS to be of acceptable quality, the emulator must also meet a set of requirements. All-in-all, though, everything seems to be up to par (as far as my uninformed brain can tell), so I shall give a yes vote.
This is actually the 4th 3DS submission.

@@KingMorgan6 Drancia Saga by Darkman425 was the 3rd. it’s submitted but not yet published on TASVideos. So that would make MM3D the 4th.
