Thank you for your comment. Yes, the clear cup is an Aeroeclipse II and it can not withstand high heat. It’s disposable and only good for one week. It is the Aeroeclipse XL, the green one that can withstand boiling and steam.

I have the Aerobika but didn’t know you could use it with a nebulizer Are there certain types of nebulizer that you can use the Aerobika with or will any device work If they have to be a certain type of nebulizer which do you recommend I have very severe emphysema and bronchiectasis Sone days I find it very difficult to use the Aerobika so this looks ideal for me I have salbutamol and also saline

I only recently began nebulizing with saline solution 7% to try to bring out mucus. I don’t have mucus coming up unless it’s just clear saliva. How do you know if that’s from saline solution or if it’s actually mucus?
Hi Becky! The only way to know is through a sputum analysis. If the lab is able to process your sputum sample that means there’s mucus there. If it just appears to be saliva with lots of epithelial cells, perhaps it’s not the best sample. Please be sure to subscribe to my channel!💕

Great video, Linda! I've had the worst luck with nebulizers recently. How did you get your Ombra? My latest nebulizer (Philips Respironics) quit working sufficiently enough for me to get a strong enough airstream to mist my albuterol & saline through my Aerobika (or at all). I'm grateful I have a friend on my street who also has bronchiectasis, and she loaned me her machine so I can get in a treatment. The pharmacy won't sell one to me without a script from my doctor. My last nebulizer came from a medical home supplies company with a prescription. They are closed for the weekend and holiday. I have called my dr to request a script, but haven't heard anything yet. Do you have any suggestions or ideas?
When you nebulize with the aerobica, does the fog still come out of the mouthpiece? There’s no fog coming out of mine unless I remove the aerobica. Please help

Not the mouth piece because you use a solid mouthpiece from the Aerobika. it comes out the back of the device ,tested out❤

Do you use distilled water to wash your aerobics ?
No. But some people use sterile water. Most often I rinse it in tapwater and put it in my baby bottle steam sterilizer.
