What is so cool about Bruce is the fact the he is cool about sharing the stage with other performers, he has no ego, he loves what he does and he is happy to share that love of rock and roll with all and sundry, what a class act!
John Rayner even when you look at hia Super Bowl halftime show he had a blast. He had the stage for like 10 minutes (give or take) it's not the best halftime show the Super Bowl ever had but part of what made it great was that he had so much fun doing it.
I met the boss when i was young, valet his car. Talked to him and took a picture, before digital. He just put his arms around my shoulder to get close. He is a down to earth and nice person. Met a legend in my life. A "wow" moment.
I read an interview somewhere that M&S were drunk out of their minds, having played earlier in the festival. You can't expect The Boss to call you up to work! Hence the sheer happiness and tomfoolery ;) Marcus Mumford can barely remember it happening...
The Boss showed the youngsters how to do it, Mumford and Sons might have been the latest group but they had no idea, they needed Bruce to show them the way !!

I've listened to The Boss since I was born, and he has a strong place in my heart and always will. Mumford & Sons are my favorite band of all time, and I was brought to them through the good taste of liking Springsteen. They've both got a great rock and roll way about them, but no matter how much I love Mumford & Sons, Bruce always does it biggest and best. So cool that he invited them onto the stage, this is one of my favorite videos. :D

Yeah good thing about this is they don't try to hold up their excitement of being on stage with BS, They show what it meant to them and they show pure admiration, seems they were speechless.
Another really great one where he pulls a relatively new musician on stage is NO SURRENDER from Hard Rock Calling in 2009 (?)...Brian from Gaslight Anthem...fantastic...Bruce is his idol and inspiration..guy had tears in his eyes at one point.
