Love watching your install videos. Gives me ideas on what I want to do with my glide. When my old lady starts nagging about all the money I spend I just tell her it's all your fault. 😅
lol I approve. Just use me as the scapegoat. I need to get me a scapegoat 😆 but I’m happy to know you’re finding value in the videos. Appreciate the support
Love the derby cover! It really complements your sharp black primary case. One quick question, though - I might be mistaken, but while the engine was running, I thought I heard a faint clunking noise coming from the area around the primary case. It almost sounded like a loose chain. If that's the case, it might be worth getting it checked out. But again, I could be wrong!
@@Gimps_Garage I know...but i change my primary everytime i change engine oil....thats about 3500 miles...i reuse the orange ring on the primary 6 times and i have 0 leaks..
@@bradlozano2571 I do the same. I change mine every oil change as well. I just looked up the cost of these gaskets vs the orange o ring. These gaskets for the Barnett are only $5. The o ring I bought recently was almost $15.
lol start slow. It’ll be ok. And these ARP bolts machined so well, that they’re damn near impossible to cross thread. I’d usually start them by hand and use my ratchet on them, but I’ve had a horrible flare up in my hands the last week. I could barely grip them. But I agree with you. Especially on a derby cover into the primary. Bust that, or mess up the threads, would make for a costly fix
Can’t go wrong with anything made by Barnett. I have their scorpion clutch in my bike. Absolutely love it.
Nice !! How you liking it? Never heard a bad thing about it.

Sweet cover bro
Looking at a Barnett clutch package myself!

All my belts n everything are tight n where they should be. Could’ve just been the comp ramp making a little noise.
Keep up the great content brother. Love your road glide. Would you take your AIM system out for the Barnett scorpion system?
I absolutely would. But it’ll be a while before that happens. My medical bills are too much at the moment to afford it.
Looks good. That is the one I was going with.
That’s because I swear we be thinking the same 😂 we have the same taste in moto parts 🤘🏻
@@Gimps_Garage lol 😂 yes sir.
Pretty...But i stick with Geniune HD derby covers that take the stock rubber o ring that you can reuse many times over on the derby cover...
Those O rings will eventually become trash tho. HD suggests changing that o ring out every few primary fluid changes

@@Gimps_Garage But 6 times to reuse...thats a savings of $15 to $30 on 6 primary changes
Nice part. Question, does your clutch feel more hard to pull with the VR AIM lockup?
It was absolutely harder to pull. Which is why I installed the recluse slave master cylinder.

Can't watch you install those derby screws with a power driver. Cross thread one of them and you are in a world of hurt.
