Jeep looks great Robbie
I grew up with Chreokees we had (have) a 1974 and had a 1978 (gone :( ) love the look. We are planning to get the 74 going again one day.
Love the simple look of those rims. We had white wagon wheels so I love that look
So cool!
Ford f250 shock towers will almost bolt right on in place of those old shock towers
Good to know!
A brown body color pin stripe on those white wheels would just complete the look.
Good idea!
Yeah, kinda late to the party, but what a sweet rig! I love that it's called a Wagoneer and now it looks like a Radio Flyer!
Haha for sure!
Part Numbers for what you installed? I have the same setup but running the Billstein 5125's and I don't like them.
Hey UBT. Looks like the rear track bar mount on the wagoner is wallowed out a bit. Might wanna get that fixed before you send the old lady out in it. Love the vid though!! Keep em comin!
It definitely is and certainly will before sending the family out in it, however, I’ve read where the early ones didn’t even come with any and that most remove these. Any thoughts on that?
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS don’t think you can delete a track bar as it locates the rear right to left and keeps it there. Not to sure on the early wagoners but I am very familiar with late model jeep stuff. I would weld a big 9/16 washer to both sides of the mount to remedy the wallowing and then recenter the axle. Should be good to go
Love it! What spacers are those? I can’t find a wheel I like that comes in 108mm hub
I’m not exactly sure. They were on it when we got it. They’re 2” and solid billet.
May I please ask what part numbers are for the Bilsteins? Excellent video!
Que the music Wes... man penny looks so much better with some new penny loafers on her. Not that there was anything wrong with her before by any means #happywife #happylife #westheman #rockytop!!!!!
I like the penny loafer comment
The fact that your wife abandoned her modern ride for that old Wagoneer tells me she's a keeper!
Totally agree!
Surprised me!
No cornbread in the video very dissapointed! XD
That is one failure point of this video. :)
Mmmm cornbread
lol
Bill Stein!!! BINGO best! Cool family
Aw Man!!! That looks killer with the steelies & the NOS caps gave it the smack-down style spike over the net!!!😎🤜🤛😎(🏐 metaphor....dont ask where that came from 🤣😎)
Too much time at the net?
haha I'm not even sure what all that means but okay!
Volleyball terminology for one, Maybe tennis as well.
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS....yes, like I said, not sure where that came from😄🧐
Guess it would have been best to say it was a solid win on the wheels, tires & caps😁😁😁🤜🤛
@@markbremmer8642 .....yea, weak moment for me...promise to try not to let it happen again 😄😇
Looks good !
Thank you!
That looks so clean
Thanks man!
My holsteins had a zip ties holding them compressed for instillation hmm you boys made a bo bo
haha it all worked out
How wide are your spacers?
I think they were 1" or 1.25"
It's looking good 👍👍🇨🇱
Thank you!
Not too sure about the wheel and tire combo to be honest
It's all good. To each their own!
Lookin good man! 👍
Thanks brother!
We love it!!! Nice ride!!
Awesome! Thank you!
Now put a Kaiser front grill and headlights on it
Might just do that
Would have been nice to have a closeup shot of the hub caps so we could see the detail. Sweet wheels though.

We'll have more on them soon!
Really digging this build. Wish the wheel wells were bigger though.
Thanks for watching!
I run the Bilstein 5100 setup on my F150. Love it.
Very cool!
Looks good. Big improvement!
I think so too!
Much better. Cool vid bro!!!
Appreciate it!
Get that cornbread on video! Love it 😄
that girl is a trip!
That is toooooo cool! I loved them old Wagoneers anyway! Very nice!
Thank you very much!
Uhh, excuse me? Your daughter said there's cornbread and you should get it on video. So disappointed on the lack of cornbread in this video. Down vote! Lmao jk the wagon looks badass.
Sweet airstream
Thank you!
I had a question. What size car hauler should I rent to haul a 86 chevrolet c10 silverado. Hasn't been moved cranked or anything in 6-7 yrs. Im going pick it up 2 states over and I dont want to put a battery in it and start it before I drop the fluids and check lines and tanks
A 16' foot trailer at minimum for swb but we like 20' for a little room
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS I'm going pick it up this weekend. Do you have any recommendations for where to get parts from. Hoses, gas tanks, radiator, etc.?
Thanks for the video. Bilstein are advising these shocks are actually 5165s, front 25-177510 and rear 25-187717. They are not direct fit and would (could) require modification to bump stops, sleeves, etc. What modifications were required for your install - cheers!
All we had to do was remove the sleeve on the upper mount. We just pressed out the one from the old shock and popped it in the new Bilstein eye mount. The bushing was a poly bushing and by no means optimal but we had to work with what we had. A better solution would have been to take the entire mount off and fit a mounting stud that was the correct diameter. I could not tell if it had been altered to fit the lift that was put on by the previous owner. We will be addressing this in a later video when we take all the worn out steering and other suspension components out. Sorry for the late response!
Also, bump stops are toast and were not changed by the PO when they put the lift on. That is another thing we will be addressing once we can fully cycle the suspension on a lift.
@@WesleyB420 Great - thanks for the info!
Great looking Jeep 👍👌
Thanks 👍
Got to ADMIT,,,,, She's Looking GOOOODER !!! God Bless All.
Amen!!
I agree!
I thought those rims were going to be ugly, really surprised, looks nice man
Well thanks!
Would this set up work on a j10 with a 3” lift?
The wheels really match the white stripe on the truck, they give it a real retro look, amazing!
Agree!!
Totally agree!
Awesome trucks man!
Thanks 👍
In regards to Bilstein... there's a great video over on "Lite Brite Studios" channel where they get a tour of the factory, since they just got sponsored by Bilstein and their Ultra 4 buggy. They also give the correct pronunciation of Bilstein. They put new shocks on their built JL and their one ton Dodge tow rig and say it's made a world of difference As for the wheels... I really dig the idea of going old school with the white steel and caps... but personally I'm not a fan of the larger diameter. Yes they'll help with handling (which that rig could probably use all the help it can get) but I prefer more sidewall to soak up the little bumps a little bit better, but that's where the shocks will come into play. Although you didn't go super big (20's or more) with the 18's so I guess it's a happy medium. But you guys are stoked about them, and that's all that matters! Oh yeah, one more thing... white letters matter! Have fun guys! Be safe!
I actually watched that recently! Thanks for the tip and the honest feedback. And you're right, we love them so we'll run them!
Good news bud, this week we'll be picking up the doors, fender and tailgate for my truck. Just leaves the 2" cowl hood which I'll get next month and then I can start painting it. Getting closer to finally finishing the restoration.
Awesome!
Dialing in my 89 wagon suspension too. I reversed the the front spring shackle for a little improvement as well. Ultimately, going to need front coil suspension for real ride quality improvement in my opinion.
Looking great!!
Thanks!
You gotta keep the girls happy. Strong work man!
Totally! Thank you
When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought this was an ICON Derelict review - which is to say, this looks awesome.
I did too and you sir are correct great looking Jeep
Wow! What a huge compliment, but this is nowhere near what Jonathan does with ICON. But thank you! :)
Well done looks sweet. I cant show my wife cause she'll want one
Go right ahead!
Looking at same shocks, were these 255/70 valving?
I think that is the profile they ship with but I will ask to make 100% sure.
Yep, just verified that is the valving profile that these come with.
We have cornbread you should get that on video!! Love it! Waggle looks great.
haha she's a mess
That thing looks awesome!
I love it!
Congrats you did it! The wheels look good. A bit older looking than I prefer but it looks good 👍🏼 with the paint scheme you have.
Thanks for watching! We love it.
Bleach stock wheels looked a whole lot better.
💯
Not to me they don't. :)
Awesome, happy wife happy life!
You got that right!
Looks awesome man. Can wait to see what you do next.
More to come very soon! We've got a few more suspension upgrades then it will be time for drivetrain and fuel system improvements.
Love these wheels and set up!
Us too!
So WHO thinks, this truck is FIRE? I Give it a thumbs up tho! If I had a wife, she would probably love it, too
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥
haha thank you!
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great! Now I’m thinking I need to go Bilstein before the big trip. 😂 I already have too much to do. Great update UBT. 👍
You should! I'm very happy with the product.
What part numbers did Bilstein spec out for you on the front and rear?
I'll have to get back to ya on that specifically. They are the 5160s
Same question . . .
@@darrenramsey7549 front 25-177510 and rear 25-187717
Gosh I wish I could like those wheels 😂 I do love that you love them though! Keep on keeping on homie
It's all good, man! Thanks for watching.
That looks effing good
"A Happy Wife makes for a Happy Life"!!!
You just knocked it out of the park man!!!
w.w./Oklahoma
"God's Country"
haha thanks!
It's German, think Beer Stein for pronunciation
Thanks! I think we’ve got it now! 👊🏼
Looks good! There's a Wagoneer for sale here. Don't tempt me. 😆
Do it!
So you putting all this 4x4 stuff on the Wagoneer is your jeep and money, but are you sure it's your wife's truck or yours? Is it for you or for her?
It's hers but to be enjoyed by the whole family
That Jeep needs a heliphant or hellcat swap.
Penny
Skinny strength! Glad I aint the only one! LOL
also wheels are sick!! and where was the cornbread???😒
haha Wes is a beast
It was in my belly very shortly after this lol
Mind sharing the specs on the steel wheels (size and offset) and where you located the NOS hubcaps.
Lookin good man
I usually love everything you do on the channel. However...the wheels look very silly to me. But if you like em. Thats what counts
haha thanks man! I can't please everybody. :) Thanks for watching either way.
Sorry I don't digg them
It's all good! To each their own.
You gonna eat that cornbread 😂😂
That UA-cam money rollin huh
Definitely not for me
It's all good!
Wheels look great truck looks great but I'm old school I would have left the tire letters out no hate just my opinion
haha it's all good! White letters have just never been my thing
@@UNITEDBYTRUCKS I can dig it brother enjoy the truck it looks amazing
Not Bilstein bu Bilstein the second one lol shout out to Lite Bright for correcting everyone lmao
I've never heard anything other than bilsteen lol. And im not trying to be a hater but I don't understand the attraction to the wheels. They don't look good on anything imo especially not on this. But its not my car and not my money so keep on keepin on 🤟🏻🤟🏻
Yup, that's it! And I get it, but you're right: it's mostly about what my wife and I like on this one. Thanks for watching!
Cameron's form on the jack and the lug gun is top notch. Kids got a future!
So cool! Appreciate you guys watching.
I heard" Want some lube? Yea I'll take some lube." and my mind went to the gutter.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Sorry couldn't resist.
Mine too, that's why i left it in there. Gotta have a little fun every now and then.
Wagoneer looks killer with those new wheels man! What’s it ride like now with the new bilstein on Robbie?
Much better but we have a few things to address on the suspension as well. It should be dialed in by year's end.
Should have left the white letters out on those Goodyears. Thumbs down just for that
haha not a white wall guy at all.
Sorry. Looks like a "Donk".
Hurtful :)
Every ones taste is different. If you and your wife like the look. Thats all that matters.
