This all black team i think is the greatest world cup team ever. This team was levels above any other team in the competition. I thought it was cool that they all had all black boots too I even got a pair myself. I'm a wallaby fan and I thought we had a really good side, but this AB team was just too good.
And then he stuck a knee into McCaw when lying on top of him after Pocock scored. I can forgive a lot from any player, as long as he's clean, but Kepu was just plain dirty.

I saw a documentary on the All Blacks at the 2015 RWC, in which Carter discussed parts of the Final and when the ABs were awarded the scrum penalty, McCaw wanted Carter to go for the touchline, but Carter knew the kick at goal, even though it was long-range, was worth a shot. He said to McCaw, "If it goes over, they have to score twice." So McCaw said okay and Carter put it over. *That* kick gives me goosebumps. I knew then that the game was as good as won - the Wallabies were running on fumes by then.
This was the best final to date, open running positive rugby from both sides. Next best would be 2003 which was a nail biter. The worst of all had to be the 2007 final....that was a borefest.

It's unlikely, but even if they failed it would have been absolutely thrilling to see both teams separated by a single try right to the final whistle...but instead of the correct call being made All blacks run a full field counter attack and blow the score out.
Two cases of red cards to kepu for foul play you can see the time stamps in the comments. You could play the what if game with every wc final honestly. That trip had no effect on drew Mitchell because if you pause it at the right moment he loses the ball about half a meter away from whitelock so that argument doesn’t necessarily work. Yellow? card, maybe, try allowed? definitely
I will say that forward pass by the all blacks should have been Australian ball but those three points didn’t matter, the all blacks still rule in rugby😁

This all black team i think is the greatest world cup team ever. This team was levels above any other team in the competition.
