Personally I had some problems with parts of the movie. I think they need to ditch Snyder. Still the best Superman we've had on the big screen since Reeves. And its good enough to kick-start a DC cinematic universe. we're long overdue for one.
This movie was done really very well and this happened to be one of my favorite scenes along with some others I congratulate the director on this awesomely made superman movie unlike the crap that came before it Im excluding the christopher Reeves movie he was so awesome

It wouldn't be that loud up close. A so-called "sonic boom" is the sound made when something breaks the sound barrier and all the sound the object normally generates hits at once. So, unless Superman makes a lot of noise while flying normally (as airplanes and other machines do), it wouldn't be loud at all.
