These videos are great keep it up i love diy vids man can you please make a video on the og 1962 maestro fz-1 fuzz please as nobody else has done one and i really wanna make one but i have 0 knowledge on how to do it thanks
Thanks, really glad you like it. I'll look into that one and I'll see if I have the parts. If I do make it I might stream it so you can see the whole process if you want. I have a whole tutorial on how to make pedals on veroboard, check em out if you like ua-cam.com/video/ZclNSjcOp3s/v-deo.htmlsi=4jZG1CPcmGxnPP8D
@dewil7313 hey man thanks my dude also you can use 16v capacitors for the 12v 24 uf electro capacitors if you cant find em don't trust the uf i put lol as i cant remember the uf amount rn ill correct this later in a separate comment thats a parts list as ik a couple of the necessary components I just dont know what to do with em if that makes sense
Oh ye this is those old ones that have obsolete parts in them. I do have some PNP transistors but I am not sure if they have the right amount of hFE. I generally stay away from those circuits since the parts are hard to find, there's better options and you don't have to do any weird options for powering them up since they are not the regular +9v. I'll still check my transistors and see if they would suite this one, I do doubt it tho.
Uh im just curious i commented previously like other websites and stuff and their gone on my end idk if its just me or are they not their for you anyways i just wanna know is it possible to substitute parts with similar cheaper parts
Thanks, it was fun. Sure I used a 2.2k one and yes the reverse log is 10 k also, I did not however notice a huge difference in the reverse or a few values. the sweep range to get the effect is still very small. I also did add a little switch to it and you could do a footswitch in a bigger enclosure.
Glad you liked it. Ye I was also thinking about adding this to a pedal and doing the footswitch thing. Have fun with the build, hope it turns out great =D

Awesome build! May I know the value of the resistor that you used? Also, is reverse log 10k as well? Thank you.

@ planning to incorporate it into a fuzz I’ll be building. Big thanks to your video. I’ll be doing my online shopping later hahaha. Cheers buddy
