From Western PA USA may I say, Thanksgiving greetings to you NMU! I’m thankful for you and for all of my neighbors to the north that I’ve had the pleasure to meet-great people, great beer, great food, great weed. Your geese however, something has got to be done about these geese-they’re kinda dicks. 😆😆😆
That own goal is nuts, but they still were able to win. As a Pens fan, I hate seeing Caps being so good. Its crazy, they are a real cup threat at this moment
Its still to early in the season to tell but the Caps are not a cup threat at all in my opinion. I don't think they would make it past the first round. I will come back to this if I'm wrong however.
@@DrThic based on what? theyre at the top of their division and when they had the league worst power play and almost league worst goaltending they were winning due to dominant 5v5 play and their PDO wasnt even out of whack. sorting out the power play and the goalies settling in will only make them better even if the players shooting percents go down. nothing about their stats make this look unsustainable.
So glad they were able to get it back for him. This locker room is a right knit group and it shows on the ice. It's also a nice little distraction for us Caps fans biting our nails awaiting Ovi's return.
Caps management pulled some impressive moves with the cap space freed up with Backstrom and Oshi on LTIR and Kuzy leaving. Chychrun is a stud, Dubois is consistently driving play, Roy, Duhaime, Radysh are all playing key roles and Connor McMichaels and Protas are leveling up in their development. Great to see a gritty character win last night.
The first Capitals player to go up to Lindgren after the goal was Dubois. All that nonsense about Dubois being a bad teammate is incorrect. After the Capitals traded for Dubois, his teammate from last season, Matt Roy, signed a 6 year deal with the Capitals. Matt wouldn't have done that if he didn't want to be on a team with Dubois for the next 6 seasons. Dubois has done well for Washington this season, better than the stats show. And his leadership showed last night in how he was the first guy to go up to Charlie after that goal and let him know that it's okay.
Next 'I had to watch more then once' try and include Artem Guryev fighting to players at once. Game between the Wichita Thunder and Worchester Railers. 9:50 of the first period. It's on the thunder social media.
It's a horrible own goal. But I still haven't seen anything as bad as Bergevin's own goal. Bergevin's own goal was in the playoffs, and helped the President's Trophy winning St Louis Blues get knocked out in the first round.
Steve Smith still could be considered worse. Threw away a playoff run that easily could have won the Stanley Cup on a team with Gretzky, Messier, Kurri, Coffey, Anderson, Fuhr... and Steve Smith scores an own goal to lose the series to their long-time rivals.
@@SellisD the NHL does not have an own goal stat, not on nightly scoreboards or over careers, there is no category for that on stat sheets otherwise defenseman would all have a bunch of own goals due to opponents shooting the puck and it bouncing off them to deflect past their own goalie, it would be a completely pointless stat to track
A great goal to be scored for Calgary, and a great way to complete yet another hat trick for Calgary! Go Flames Go! BRING POINT, MAKAR, REMPE, & HALL HOME 🇨🇦
Happy Thanksgiving to my American friends!

You too!
Not a Caps fan, but having that kind of compassion for your teammates when they make a major goof will lead them to greatness. Love to see it.
So Gretzky is now wrong, apparently you don't miss 100% of the shots you don't take.
Грецки - рулит . Овцейоб - отстой!
OMG LOLLLLL
Lindgren made a mistake but he completely made up for it afterwards. What character and grit! My kind of player!

As a Caps fan I still can't believe what is going on, it's crazy. Hope Pens will find the way to get back on track, Sid deserves better than this

Honestly what the hell is happening!!! It’s our years go caps

get used to the caps being good
Love the fun you bring here to the beautiful game.
That locker room clip was great. I didn't realize what a beaut/beast Chychrun was.
I had no idea how ripped he was.
A goalie goalie goal.
That would be insane!
Lingrin can laugh at it now because he won.
So glad they were able to get it back for him. This locker room is a right knit group and it shows on the ice. It's also a nice little distraction for us Caps fans biting our nails awaiting Ovi's return.
The teams response in the locker room just speaks volumes to their character. I might not be a Caps fan, but I got mad respect for that team now.

Crazy own goal lol
An own goal and a Hattie all at the same time.
What are the odds?
Lindgren "Totally Redeemed Himself!"
redemption comes easier when there is forgiveness. the team knew they had to win it for their goalie, or else he wouldn'tve forgiven himself

Dubois has absolutely not been doing well for Washington but whatever
If you told me two years ago that caps would beat tampa despite dumping a free point in their own net I’d have called you crazy
I nearly did a spit take at the bar when that happened. I could hardly believe it.
I threw my hat when this goal was scored. I mean i chucked it as hard as i could!
Im a caps fan lmfao. Glad they dug in and won
At least it wasn't a playoff series clinching goal. Oilers fans know who i am thinking about, Probably Flames fans too.
No better way for this story to end.

2:52 that was one frame away from being offside.
I wonder what Charlie's brother Ryan (who plays for the Rangers) had to say about Charlie's goal! :)
Love the charlie!! cut!!
Kuch may have the most lethal pass in the game
What a fun story that unfolded in this game, and an amazing win! Truth is definitely stranger than fiction sometimes...
Sadly Tampa still lost the game but we deserved it, no way caps don't win when that had that much main character energy
It's a horrible own goal. But I still haven't seen anything as bad as Bergevin's own goal.

So uh... 2:02 did Point get his hat trick puck back? lol
nah, F him
That hatty was crazy
caps are a wagon
WOW! That was pretty bad.
FYI, I’m also disappointed that it wasn’t counted as a goal for Vasilevsky.
Mad respect to Springfield Thunderbirds legend Chuckie Sideburns, glad he got the win
i feel like there is gonna be much crazier ones then that this year, lol
I can't imagine what that goalie was saying or thinking after that own goal. 😋
Named my dog after that little bastard
Crazy game. Lindgren big balls!
It’s funny but since they still won it’s kinda whatever
These types of plays should be own goals. It's ludicrous that a player gets awarded a goal.
Vasilevsky not very good this game.
My reaction to finding out that Vasi could of had the goal:
My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined
I will say it, it was the worst goalie goal ever.
I put it on wikipedia as a goalie goal and someone changed it :(
@@SellisD because its not a goalie goal, its Points. the NHL doesnt officially track own goals
@@unrelatedcoma they literally do lol

I think you commented on the wrong video lol
Tampa paid him, or he bet vs himself in Vegas 😮😮😮😮
There is no way that happened by accident
The Bolts would have ended with a win if they were the case, but they didn't.
I would feel good for the Capitals if it weren’t for Tom Wilson. That guy is a rat
