    Nicely done, Tessser52. I too am using a similar implement. I'm using a subsoiler to break the ground and break the roots so I can finally use something to pulverize the clods of dirt. I don't have a tiller but I may borrow one from a Marine Corps friend of mine. I hate borrowing things so I'll eventually buy my own tiller for the tractor. Enjoyed your full video. New SUBSCRIBER!!
    Have a fine week. Don 👍🏽🙂

    Nice job! This is one of the best series of garden tractors that Deere has made. For the horsepower and footprint it would be hard to make anything better.

      Yes, even after almost 20 years of owning the 445, the capability still impresses me. That was about a half acre plot, with heavy soil, and I was pulling up and down hill, but it tore through there in no time at all... 👍

      Tesser52 have you owned a diesel in your time with these tractors? This 455 I have restored is the first diesel I have owned and I am just amazed every time I use it. I have to keep fuel around for the 2038R so that eliminates one of the hassles. If someone snuck around and took a photo I am sure I smile bigly every time I start it hahaha

      No, I've never owned a diesel. I guess I've always been put off by having to store the fuel. However, I am sure I would enjoy a 455 with that Yanmar engine. Same 22 hp as a 445, but I assume it delivers more torque...

      Tesser52 they are quite a powerful machine. I am doing the final assembly on my 455 right now and got slowed down a bit as I decided to bead blast the rims and paint them which is a intense project lol. Way more than I anticipated but with everything else repainted there is no sense in saving time now. I must say it probably looks better now than it did when new

      Now doubt it will be better than new and well worth all the time and expense!

    Is the rear 3 point hydraulics controlling your loader at the same time? Can't you use your bypass valve to prevent that?

    • @tesser5250
      @tesser5250  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, I was using the bypass valve, but it only allows you to use the bucket separate from the rear, not the rear from the front. That is why you'll see me shutting it on and off. When I lower the plow, the bucket tips, then I shut the valve and raise the bucket...

    Buddy you need to get a “one bottom plow” does a much much better job ...

      Thanks. I am sure it might be better but the middle buster is what I have and it did a pretty good job. I don't normally plow and was just doing a favor for a neighbor...
