What kind of speed? I’m not trying to be nosy I’m just curious because I used to take adderal or snort a bunch of coke and I would stay up for days playing NASCAR Thunder on PlayStation. I use to love getting all jacked up on speed and go to the truck stop and pull the oil plug out on one or two 18 wheelers & I’d get a room at the motel with a window facing the truck stop and hook up my PS and play NASCAR Thunder and watch the trucks leave that I had drained expecting them to return fairly quickly when the engine would erupt in a cloud of smoke but only one truck returned and it wasn’t smoking he just refilled his truck with oil and left. So after doing this many times and only one truck made a return I decided to investigate so me and my buddy followed started to follow the trucks on the next times we did it and discovered that nearly every truck would make it 10 miles to the next exit before the residual oil that was caught in the engine upon us draining it would carry the trucks 10 miles to the next exit if they were heading South and nearly every truck would exit and pull into the next truck stop. A few of them used the shoulder to pull over and investigate with the exception of one truck that burst into a big black cloud of thick smoke and we pulled over to make sure it hadn’t caught fire and it didn’t but the engine was completely shot. I loaned the trucker my phone to get a tow to come meet him and I gave him a ride and surprisingly he gave me $20 bucks for my troubles. But I only kept $15 since he was going through a rougher time than me at the moment. Probably the most unusual prank was when we replaced the trucks oil with a bottle of cat piss and we tailed the truck almost 50 miles and to our amazement it was still purring getting down the road when we peeled off and turned around. The idea was to get a good laugh when he had to pull over and check the oil and got a big whiff of 3 day old hot cat piss! Man, those were the days. 🖕🤪🖕⛽️🛣🧰

I WISH Greg Biffle made a move to another team, Roush had a decline and he had a chance to jump over but he didn't. I'll miss his great NASCAR races I the regular season
@Elitesoulfly1 Soul unfortunately that has to do with a decline in the sport’s prestige. Sponsoring a nascar champion’s twilight years was worth it when nascar was pulling consistent huge ratings, it was America’s second or third most popular sport in the 90s and early 2000s, it drew better ratings than baseball, which also had a ratings crash similar to nascar in the late 2000s, and the nba, which nascar had been beating even before Jordan retired during the peak of nba ratings. It was really only the NFL, plus any golf tournament where Tiger Woods was playing, that was beating NASCAR in ratings. So in that context, it was worth it to sponsor Bill Elliott or Terry Labonte or Dale Jarrett playing out the string, because these guys were well known and very popular with 10-15% of the viewing public, which is significant. Unfortunately after the ratings collapse, nascar sponsorships basically turned into personal services contracts, and most now require a form of personal patronage by the ceos, because their marketing departments aren’t usually recommending these sponsorships anymore, it’s often simply the CEO’s personal interest that keeps companies in nascar, which has led to a lot of cronyism and sponsors looking to sponsor specific people they had an interest in promoting, as opposed to past champions or simply a car/team in general.
I wouldn't say he declined, the team collapsed around him, and he didn't really have anywhere to go. Not to mention he was everyone's punching bag for the last couple years. Got run over a lot.
Winning one race as a part timer isn’t a championship contender, but if Todd doesn’t win this season it wouldn’t surprise me to see Greg in the 4 truck, that’d be really nice and would be a capable winner week in and week out
Maybe, maybe not. Think about it for a second, though: many of NASCAR’s modern champions started off as part-time drivers, such Jimmie Johnson, Martin Truex Jr., Brad Keselowski, _both_ Busch brothers, etc. Even on the IndyCar side of things, you have Scott Dixon, Will Power, Helio Castroneves, among others. While Greg’s career has, for the most part, come and gone, quite a few one-race drivers in NASCAR’s top series gained championship contention when they started driving full-time. And one more point is that Roush Fenway has essentially fallen dead out of the sky, whereas Kyle Busch Motorsports is still a regular front-runner in the Truck Series.
Roush Fenway is essentially the Los Angeles Lakers of NASCAR, a once dominant and successful team to becoming a huge mess of an organization. Edit: Well, looks like the Lakers can actually land talent and succeed with it, unlike Roush has the Past Decade. Roush Fenway are pretty much the Dallas Cowboys of NASCAR.
There certainly can be a Comeback for Biffle because if he wins the Truck Race on Friday it can lead to another Truck Team signing him either Part-Time or Full-Time. (Or an Xfinity Team can do so as well. I hear Hattori Racing has an opening...)
@@2ndamendmentsupportingrepu706 If only he would have a ride. It would be nice to see him do that, but I don't think he wants to be running in a mediocre car. I feel like Biffle would want a competitive ride, and unfortunately that is not looking very likely. Unless if Roush runs a 3rd car or someone opens up a ride for him, I don't see this happening.
@@keithmillerjr2825 Roush running a 3rd car full time is suicide... Even with an experienced driver. Roush better get their shit going in their current shape instead.
Today, Roush only has 2 cars. They have the #17 Ricky Stenhouse (who is leaving at the end of the 2019 season) who won no races in 2019. Though, in 2017 driving for Roush, he scored his first cup win. And they have Ryan Newman who has been on a downfall since that 2017 win at Richard Chilldress Racing. That would be his last win. This year, he switched to Roush where he showed potential but no wins. So, in 2020, Roush will have the #6 drove by Ryan Newman and the #17 drove by Chris Buescher. And yeah, let’s put Chris Buescher on our struggling team! Great idea!

As a Gordon fan... I can’t forgive him for 2014. He didn’t deserve to even have a shot at the championship! To this day, Brian France, Jimmie Johnson, and Ryan Newman are my least favorite people in NASCAR
What about McMurray? Granted he’s not on the same level as Carl or Kenseth, but he left Roush in 2009 and in 2010, he won the Daytona 500, Brickyard 400, and fall race at Charlotte
The problem was Roush Racing - Roush/Fenway, they cannot put a competitive car on the track and yes Biffle stayed two long. Going to MWR would have been a bad move since the team folded after Richmondgate. He couldn't get a competitive ride so he stayed away, why drive a third tier car? because it isn't worth it.

This was the first time I ever rooted for Kyle Busch's truck. Because Kyle would make it boring by pulling away five seconds ahead. I knew Greg Biffle was good and if that truck was still in one piece he could also win. He pulled away the final lap but at least it was exciting since they they gambled on fuel, also had Matt Crafton getting ready to pass him at the end. Also Greg's only experience before was running half of a practice session for Kyle.
Daaa Biff. Thanks for the in depth video. After Mark Martin's heyday, Greg was (and is) my favorite because he drives hard and he has talent. He was every bit as good as any Hendrick driver he raced against but like you mentioned a victim of RFR's slow death. Sad. Even when on top though Roush made some very careless calls like separating Greg from crew chief Doug Richert. Was Biffle loyal to a fault?
I wish he woulda followed the footsteps of Matt and Carl. They smelled the downfall miles away and jumped ship at the right time. Sometimes loyalty kills you I guess. Man, I remember when the 16,17,99 would be going toe to toe with the 20, 24 and 48. Good times.
Greg Biffle was and still is a great wheel man, who can win with a bad handling car. The demise was that Roush could and would not work with the other ford teams, and wanted to run the show, which the new way of doing things left him way behind on improving the technology. The new car I thought would help them but except for Daytona, they have been very behind again
I doubt that a comeback is in the works. He drove for Roush racing and they did not have top cars . That said Greg won races in spite of not having the best equipment. I don't consider him having a downfall
I know this is old but I think Greg Biffle got shafted by Jack Roush. I was hoping he would be able to come back with a great team. I agree with another fan when he said it would of been bad if he got a ride for MWR.Plus Gregg didn't get the credit he should of. i think he was a very great Cup driver. He could of been the only driver with a Championship in Nascar Top Three Series. I was cheering for him in KBM 51 Toyota Truck. He still has what it takes to get the job done. Congratulations on another Truck win for The Biff...
@@packisbetter90 Are you sure AJ is not a good driver? I mean, he won 2 races in Xfinity this season, including a win at Atlanta. Plus, he has done really well in Kaulig equipment.
KBM needs a full time experienced driver and Biffle would be perfect to help coach up and coming TRD drivers and be able to fix any issues with KBM trucks
Greg Biffle had a lot of opportunities to move to other rides, but he was always the last guy standing when the music stopped. I guess he tried to be loyal to Roush but he ended up not getting many gains from it, as Kenseth and Edwards had better seasons after their switch to JGR and Biffle lost sponsorship, I've never seen a sponsor just completely sour on the sport like Ortho did to Greg, you need sponsorship to succeed and Biffle just could never find sponsorship after Nat'l Guard and 3M left and later Ortho.
I've always pinpointed the start of Roush's decline to be when it became Roush Fenway Racing in 2007. They ran pretty decent the first few years, but I think losing sponsors (DeWalt, AAA, National Guard, Crown Royal, Office Depot) is what truly derailed them in the long run. Their performance slowly started to suffer as a result. And I can't believe that Jack survived two plane crashes. I hope that he isn't still flying planes with just one eye.
@@packisbetter90 yeah they fell behind so quickly. They went from championship contenders to struggling for wins and top 5’s. I saw the other day they only had 6 or 7 wins in the gen 6 car. Hope Brad helps them get back to the top.
Another guy who fell victim to the collapse of Rousch racing's team that went from perennial championship contender to stenhouse and ragan crashing everywhere.
And just like that, Greg Biffle claims the victory at Texas. Needs some more races in that 51 Truck, and possibly a full time ride next season.

Congratulations on another Truck win for The Biff...
do the downfall of AJ Almendinger
The 2012 suspension screwed up his career lol, he had a great chance to win with Penske but didnt take care of it
He was never that great in the first place
@@packisbetter90 Are you sure AJ is not a good driver? I mean, he won 2 races in Xfinity this season, including a win at Atlanta. Plus, he has done really well in Kaulig equipment.
You know a man loved his ford when he constantly refused to drive another car. Yea he won in a tundra but he will always be a ford driver.
TheDCGuitar13 DC thats only because he never drove a Joe Gibbs Toyota race car!! I believe Biff would definitely win in one of those cars.
Watching this after he won last night at Texas
hoping kyle bussch starts an cup team with biffle & thier other young drivers biffle had no race rust
KBM needs a full time experienced driver and Biffle would be perfect to help coach up and coming TRD drivers and be able to fix any issues with KBM trucks
I hope roush gets him back and opens his truck team again and put da biff in the truck
No, Roush needs to have all their money focused on their cup teams, they need to get better again
“At least he had the courage to take his helmet off”
I would have not been in to NASCAR if it wasn't for Greg.. I even named my Jack Russell after him.
It was to bad Gregg Biffle couldn't of landed another good ride with another team. I was surprised when his career driving in the Nascar Cup Series.
HE’S BACK!!! WINNER!!!
David Hasselhoff says ”Don’t Hassle the Hoff.” Greg Biffle’s quote would be “Don’t Wiff the Biff.” Lol
I don't think you mentioned Doug Richert.
It’s was the team that was the demise
Greg even said he should have moved to another team. Dude still had good talent left but the car and team just wasn’t there
Wow the 60 Car was good once
He is either going to do great or fail in the truck series. He is with a good team
Definitely a decline in performance, but in no way a field filler even at his worst.
A lot had to do with roush being down in R&D and funds. Look at Ryan Newman. Roush needs funds.
For example look at harvick. Left RCR to Stewart-Haas. now look at him. A contender for a win just about every race
If Richert didn't leave da Biff, after their Mediocre 2006 season who knows what could have happend.
You earned yourself a sub, keep up the good work man!
He Just Won
It should be titled the downfall of Rousch.
caution clock in place??
I was always pretty lukewarm on Biffle. He was a really talented driver but I just never felt anything about him.
Greg was offered a job at Kyle s team for a few years.
I really like that KFC paint scheme 🔥 🔥
Ever since The cat in the hat crashed his plane and lost his eye the team slowly became worse and worse.
TheReal Trucker Real truck that is so true sad but true
I think after Edwards 2011 season when he lost the championship on the tie with Stewart was the dagger
@@packisbetter90 yeah they fell behind so quickly. They went from championship contenders to struggling for wins and top 5’s. I saw the other day they only had 6 or 7 wins in the gen 6 car. Hope Brad helps them get back to the top.
Loyalty killed his career
Another guy who fell victim to the collapse of Rousch racing's team that went from perennial championship contender to stenhouse and ragan crashing everywhere.
Biff won! On the reconfigured texas track. Was in top equipment though.
I’m with the Biff
