      Why do some videos Crack the bleeder screw? ..some dont...
      Is this really necessary to avoid seal blowout back in system weakpoints?...
      I'm seeing some people say yes some no?..I'm gonna try without
      But great video most detailed ive seen yet

      @@georgecushing6762 well u can open the bleeder valve to let out the old fluid that took all the heat abuse instead of pushing back to lines how ever u run the risk getting air in the system it’s always best to not go beyond what ur doing and just to brake flush regulator every 60k miles

      Sorry to message again I took tires off..little clip spring on pad is opposite facing down rather than towards engine as in this video same both sides ..I'm unsure do i put back in place as is or ...put spring to engine or facing up rather than facing the ground .....
      Now I'm freaking out a bit....
      I have new rotors and pads ..I'm gonna try to put back (as seen on tv)..
      ..I think the last person put them on backwards?...or I'm about too?..
      Thanks for all your help...ttyl

    • @RBTheMechanic
      @RBTheMechanic  2 роки тому +1

      Nope since we didn’t remove any fluid alike components it’s not required but do ur brake fluid service every 60-70k miles

    What about bleeding the brakes ??????? You did not bleed the brakes !!!!!!

    • @RBTheMechanic

      I did not replace calipers or any lines that’s brake fluid service job!! Do that on its own time and recommended time frame

    • @joelafleur6423

      You can open the bleeder screws when compressing the calipers, if you want. But where I live in michigan older vehicles are very rusty. A broken screw can cause you to replace the whole caliper. It's fine if you don't bleed the syste. If you're just doing a pad and rotor slap.
