Hoping to be in San Diego later this month for some birding and hiking so glad I found your vid. Especially keen on checking out San Elijo Lagoon now. Thanks!
I grew up in San Diego and spent a LOT of time in Mission Trails. Cowle's Mountain is a good recommendation but yes, it can get busy. And yes, that's a waterfall in San Diego. There's not a lot of water anywhere (except the ocean).
Going to keep these places in mind if we ever make it to San Diego. They look like great hikes! Going by your video Torrey Pines is my favourite too. Nice work Ed 👍
I am planning a trip to San Diego sometime this summer to go hiking and sightseeing. I was really glad to see that one my mutual subscribers had a very helpful video for me to watch! Your top 5 looks great! I will for sure get 3 of these places in at least. I really enjoyed this and it was very informative and educational at the same. Thanks for putting this one out :-)
Damon Brummett no prob! Yeah I consider potato chip a bit further out, I'm going to make another video this summer called "best hikes outside San Diego" and that hike will be in that list. That video will be places about an hour or more from downtown San Diego. For example jacumba will be in there too
Love the info on the Torrey Pines. Thanks!
