Hey everyone! We're Eric Lagerstrom and Paula Findlay. We're both professional triathletes; we train for and race triathlon for a living. Thanks so much for subscribing and helping us keep triathlon fun.

We've finally gotten all the remaining pieces to our dream garage build, thanks to Zwift and Wahoo, and we're stoked to share it with you! We've got two Wahoo kickr's, two TV's with stands and Apple TV's to run Zwift, a Woodway treadmill and a gym-quality refurbished Life Fitness treadmill. It really is everything we've dreamed of and the perfect setup to train for triathlon indoors during bad weather.

My school has a couple Woodways in our gym. It pretty much has the feel of running on the track, no other treadmill I have been on even comes close to the Woodway.

More fans! I run three, headwind in front and two Rowenta Turbo stand fans. The sweat, that would fall like rain otherwise, evaporates.
Part of me wants to sweat a little more on the trainer since I struggle in hot races. So I only break out the extra fans if I'm really struggling
what do you do for heating in the winter, and air conditioning in the summer?
In the summer we just use fans and ride outside most of the time. Bend is desert, so it cools off at night and if we keep the garage door shut it’ll stay reasonable. So far anyway. Winter time: space heater.
Looks great! What’s the bike rack you’re using on the wall? We have a garage to organize and need a solution for the bikes - wall mounted easy on/off. Suggestions TTL fans?
the bike racks are part of the rubbermaid track system. I show them a bit more in the part 1 video
for real though Woodway > Every other treadmill

the black stuff is stall mat for horses and the grey stuff is traffic master from home depot 👍

Definitely you must upgrade security. That garage door won't even slow them down. Although that dog might lick the burglar to death.

Great garage set up. I have my own Zwift garage, err not supplied by them. But I have a big-screen TV, Smart trainer, a treadmill next to this set up so I can run off! Weights and fitness area. Not too shabby for an age grouper. I have my three bikes racked up on the walls. My carbon road bike, my TT triathlon bike, and my gravel/ winter bike. and a wall rack with all my bike shoes, and my far too many running shoes As Paula rightly says. No cars in the garage, just things for For "That Triathlon Life" Stay safe with much love from the UK. Once again I cannot access the live chat, comes up Error. Must be something to do with being so far away maybe?

Hi, I'm really sorry, but we've lost multiple packages attempting to ship to India and we can't afford to keep doing it 😞 I'm not sure if it's customs seizing the packages or what, but they just disappear.

oh man, Paula! Luke & I should have done the remote stickering a couple years ago! so many mixed up apple tv remotes round here!
Wrought Iron on ALL exterior door(s) and window(s). Breaking in while you're traveling and opening the garage from the inside is always a risk. A cheaper option is to have a live in house sitter. A little paranoia is healthy!
So far we've had someone watch Flynn here at the house every time we've left and we're super close with our neighbors, very quiet street, so we feel pretty good about it. Thanks Barry

Which stands are you using for your tvs? Do they tilt up and down? My current stand is fixed and works for my treadmill but not great for the bike

i like your support for TV, Do you share the brand of support please, and the base where the TV is attached comes with that type of stand or is it separate?

i'm looking to get a woodway4front (have a deal for a new model) and i have some questions regarding integrations:
can you load a trainingpeaks workout onto it and just hit play and it ramps up/down automatically? the technogym skillrun can do it, but i'm not having a deal for it and i don't look spending 20k$, so the woodway seems very good for me. the 4k$ technogym MyRun does it aswell, but it's also a regular belt and not a nice slat which i'm looking for.

I don’t think it can do that… it can tell Zwift what your speed and incline is, but it doesn’t seem to be able to receive real-time information via Bluetooth. I haven’t specifically read into the training peaks though

The Technogym Skillrun (newest model) and all the MyRun (consumer models) to have a TP integration. load your workout and hit play. I was very disappointed by the 4Front usage when i talked to sales reps. for 15k$ it basically has a button to start and a button for speed. everything else is extra and then no crazy integrations. bummer.
bought the myrun now. would have love to buy a skillrun or a 4front tho. maybe i can upgrade in 2 years :D

Yeah it does get below freezing, but the garage is decently insulated and we've got a space heater
I have such a hard time imagining that my Zwift setup was better than yours until this lol.

you can run Zwift off of your power meter and the baseline smart trainer from wahoo is actually pretty reasonable these days.

800 warm up. 10x200 best average. 6x (200+100) aerobic. Once a week for 8 weeks

Just a thought: switch out the gas hot water heaters for a larger heat pump hot water heater. Provides cooling and dehumidifying, cheaper to run, better for the environment, and no chance of Carbon monoxide poisoning. There’s likely elevated CO and CO2 in that room from combustion.
That is a very cool place. but I have to give it to Paula for color coordinating the controls to the TV, will never get confused 😁. Great job guys! Amazing setup!!
