😂 That call on my racing seat was almost spot on. It's actually from a 1991 Ford(!) Probe GT. My very first car in fact. Pulled it from it before it had to be scrapped to keep as a souvenir. No other racing seat is allowed to touch my bum. 😉 Loved the video as always and got some great inspiration for when we move into a bigger space from the other caves.
Ha! I had a Capri which was the inspiration for ford making the probe 😂
Haha, love me a Capri but was unfortunately born too late for them to still be considered "daily drivable" once I got my license.

Thanks Mark! Mine was the "Scott could electrocute himself" one, haha. Thanks for featuring. That is all low voltage wiring, so I really only risk accidentally hanging myself on a desperate Zwift sprint. Seattle is safe! And my wife is standing by for round 2 of you and Nixon!
Yes I was the last one. The net curtains were my wife's idea, the house is mine... Perhaps it's so my family don't have to look at me...
In addition, I'm running zwift on my old mobile phone plugged into an old monitor, 12v truck fans direct to the face. Tacx Bushido. Everything here is on a real budget unlike some of the others although the shed itself is new and was primarily as a pain cave but the tools and shite had to go somewhere. Moving to Yorkshire next year so hopefully I'll get a bigger house with a cellar or a really decent pain space

This is actually really refreshing. I've seen many reviews of pain caves... where they are as equipped as the local gym and cost as much (rather demoralising)! A falling down shed etc is what us on the ground floor with families and jobs etc have!

As the 'Steve' in this review, yes, I'm in the US (Northern Virginia) and spot on using the TV size to nail that. The child weights...well my GF wants to DM you privately about that comment as I have no kids and that was her weights on the rack last. LOL Thanks for including me, I feel special. Oh and talk about reach. I found out this was uploaded when a friend on Twitter/Zwift, who lives in Belgium, DM'd me on Twitter that he thought he just saw my pain cave on Mark Lewis's channel. HAHA

The wife would like a word Mark about her “child like free weights”. All I’ll say is it was nice watching you whilst you were able to upload content! (there’s a reason I let her keep them in my Zwift room! 😂)
PS. The storage unit serves as the table for foodstuffs and spare drinks/remotes etc. Towel hangs on the door handle. Simple and clutter free 👍

Hey, combined entertainment gaming room, work from home space with some weights and cardio equipment. Kind of has all of the necessary elements. ;-)

The LED under the staionary bike is a built in feature if I'm not wrong. Changes colour with watts. I have a Tacx neo 2t which has that feature and that looked like another tacx product.
Hi Mark - funny video! I was wondering if I could give a video suggestion please - could you do a detailed video on how you approach nutrition, please? I’m trying to lose fat and increase endurance ability for a couple of running and cycling events next year. But I find if I go on a diet that I usually under eat and then fall off the wagon big time or go for the sugar. You have spoken in the past of not under doing it and having binges which I am prone to also. I wonder if you count calories or use instinct? And do you work out macros or another method. Would be an interesting video I believe, as you obviously find the balance!

That pegboard wall was genius. - I have LED lights in my pain cave - they match up to the edges of my screen on zwift - creating a bit of a more immersive environment.
We have a new computer lab/demo room at work and they have put purple LEDs all around under the desks. Sure it looks cool but wtf.

In regard to hanging upside down, they have something that wraps around your ankles and allows you to hook onto a pull up bar or bar of appropriate size
Here is a bit of jealousy from a guy from the Netherlands where I have not enough space in my house to have a dedicated paincave. The one with a mirror and led gets my personal fav

Mark, the inversion table, if you have no room I remember inversion boots and people hanging from roof beams. maybe something to search for?

Mark my Neo 2t has a built in light at the bottom. It changes colors based on watts. Goes from blue to red. Also will work without being plugged in. I think that might be part of the reason for it just so you can tell it’s working when not plugged up.

Meet ups are tough just due to the logistics - I tend to ride as and when I grab some time.
