😂 That call on my racing seat was almost spot on. It's actually from a 1991 Ford(!) Probe GT. My very first car in fact. Pulled it from it before it had to be scrapped to keep as a souvenir. No other racing seat is allowed to touch my bum. 😉 Loved the video as always and got some great inspiration for when we move into a bigger space from the other caves.
Thanks Mark! Mine was the "Scott could electrocute himself" one, haha. Thanks for featuring. That is all low voltage wiring, so I really only risk accidentally hanging myself on a desperate Zwift sprint. Seattle is safe! And my wife is standing by for round 2 of you and Nixon!
Big thanks to anyone that sent in a pain cave for review 😁 Episode 1 and 2 are here: ua-cam.com/video/U4_KctQeVi4/v-deo.html & ua-cam.com/video/pO9ENVj-3YQ/v-deo.html
Love it! The variety of pain cave setups is amazing, I like to try and picture the owners based on the pain caves on the same basis as "owners that look like their dogs"! :-D
This is actually really refreshing. I've seen many reviews of pain caves... where they are as equipped as the local gym and cost as much (rather demoralising)! A falling down shed etc is what us on the ground floor with families and jobs etc have! Great effort... and great effort from the pain caves shown!👍👍👍
That pegboard wall was genius. - I have LED lights in my pain cave - they match up to the edges of my screen on zwift - creating a bit of a more immersive environment.
As the 'Steve' in this review, yes, I'm in the US (Northern Virginia) and spot on using the TV size to nail that. The child weights...well my GF wants to DM you privately about that comment as I have no kids and that was her weights on the rack last. LOL Thanks for including me, I feel special. Oh and talk about reach. I found out this was uploaded when a friend on Twitter/Zwift, who lives in Belgium, DM'd me on Twitter that he thought he just saw my pain cave on Mark Lewis's channel. HAHA
The wife would like a word Mark about her “child like free weights”. All I’ll say is it was nice watching you whilst you were able to upload content! (there’s a reason I let her keep them in my Zwift room! 😂) PS. The storage unit serves as the table for foodstuffs and spare drinks/remotes etc. Towel hangs on the door handle. Simple and clutter free 👍
In addition, I'm running zwift on my old mobile phone plugged into an old monitor, 12v truck fans direct to the face. Tacx Bushido. Everything here is on a real budget unlike some of the others although the shed itself is new and was primarily as a pain cave but the tools and shite had to go somewhere. Moving to Yorkshire next year so hopefully I'll get a bigger house with a cellar or a really decent pain space
Crazy entertaining! Thanks! Mine is still a work in progress. Will probably be more like the glossy speakers one with the USB on the sofa, though. LOL!!! Hey, combined entertainment gaming room, work from home space with some weights and cardio equipment. Kind of has all of the necessary elements. ;-)
I don't have a proper pain cave - or at least one that wouldn't make you force-unsubscribe me, but I absolutely love these videos. The gut-busting humor which has been commented on extensively. As well, though, seeing how other folks set up their workout rooms, and hearing your comments are really helpful in thinking about how to improve my setup in a sensible way.
In regard to hanging upside down, they have something that wraps around your ankles and allows you to hook onto a pull up bar or bar of appropriate size
The LED under the staionary bike is a built in feature if I'm not wrong. Changes colour with watts. I have a Tacx neo 2t which has that feature and that looked like another tacx product.
Mark my Neo 2t has a built in light at the bottom. It changes colors based on watts. Goes from blue to red. Also will work without being plugged in. I think that might be part of the reason for it just so you can tell it’s working when not plugged up.
Hahahahahah love the sarcasm! Great video. You with your dog on your back…..kinda reminds me of something like how some women dress their dogs in a frilly dress.
I’m just getting into cycling and in January I’m moving and will have enough space that I get to create my own pain cave - thanks for the inspo (and the laughs!). Brilliant 😄
Awesome video Mark, and quite a good sense of humour too I like it! keep it up, I'll try to share my pain cave I built from the ground up if you run another one, curious to know what you'd have a go at lol !
Highly entertaining video, thanks Mark! Think I spotted you flying past me at the start of Sherfield 10k this morning with Nixon and a GoPro! Keep up the great content!
Scott has an ice axe on the wall. That gets an extra point for being out in the snow and ice hiking or climbing (mountaineering?) Are those snow shoes with it?
I did my first race on zwift today - after having my turbo since Black Friday (and never properly doing much cycling in years). Just wanted my fitness “dad” to know and hopefully be proud. Decided to enter cat C as I like a challenge, would have been 6th of 39 in cat D with my time - so above average. Don’t worry about me coming 31 out of 48 in cat C though!
“Aside from letting some small children store their freeweights in here…” that’s the comedy you subscribe for!!!
That had me in stitches!

Ha! I had a Capri which was the inspiration for ford making the probe 😂
Haha, love me a Capri but was unfortunately born too late for them to still be considered "daily drivable" once I got my license.
@@fabianmuller4758 you didnt miss much - mine was an old lump of junk when I got it in 92 - wrote it off after 6 months 😂
My first car was a 1989 Ford Probe GT Turbo. You never forget your first love ;)

How do we send pain cave pictures?😁
How do I send
you pictures 🤦
Hey Mark. I’m a 49 year old just getting into cycling and running. I love your UA-cam channel and bought a kickr after watching your videos! 😊
Love it! The variety of pain cave setups is amazing, I like to try and picture the owners based on the pain caves on the same basis as "owners that look like their dogs"! :-D

I'm afraid comedy comes before GFs 🤣

Tell wife I'm sorry - but it was too easy a joke to overlook 🤣
Comedy gold fellas 🤣🙌
This was a particularly above average humorous video 😂😂😂😂😂
Yes I was the last one. The net curtains were my wife's idea, the house is mine... Perhaps it's so my family don't have to look at me...
In addition, I'm running zwift on my old mobile phone plugged into an old monitor, 12v truck fans direct to the face. Tacx Bushido. Oh and thanks for featuring my mess Mark
Shed to Cellar will get you a another go on a future episode 😂
@@pghampton yes, my wife likes retro.. horrible stuff
Super entertaining, Mark. Thank you for the laughs and inspiration! Fingers crossed for a sequel.
These pain cave videos are informative yet entertaining ! Loving the movie references :o). MORE PLEASE !!
Always beautiful to see people doing what they can with what they have. Reviewed by someone with a sense of humor.
Thanks, I had a great laugh! Welcome one too cause us Dutchies all got kicked out of the gym today due to a hard lockdown.. Cheers and much love!
Amazing, that final Matrix comparison was superb.
Absolutely Brilliant! Pmsl at the net curtain in the shed! Best 12 mins I’ve seen on UA-cam! 😂😂
I live in New Brunswick , Next to Nova Scotia and that cave and your comments was absolutely spot on! Amazing! Good entertainement that is!
That last pain cave was absolute class 😂 spat me tea out at the net curtains and the deck chair covers from 1973 was also a decent touch
Same! Died laughing
Scott electrocuting himself to death😂😂😂. Love the wit and humor!
I love the way you do this Mark!
Crazy entertaining! Thanks! Mine is still a work in progress. Will probably be more like the glossy speakers one with the USB on the sofa, though. LOL!!! LOVED the peg-board set-up. I am going to steal that idea and rescue my garage. Cheers!
Very nice. It's a very light video to see.
The neo bike and neo trainer bring led from factory. It changes colors based on the power being put.
I'd call it a modular storage concept.
Modulating...
Pegging...
Yeah, that modular storage concept is a really good idea. Looks great!
LOL Christmas comes early 😂 Love your wit and sense of humor reviewing these pain caves.
I don't have a proper pain cave - or at least one that wouldn't make you force-unsubscribe me, but I absolutely love these videos. The gut-busting humor which has been commented on extensively. OMG. Pissed myself watching this one. So good.
This is why I still watch UA-cam.
These pain cave reviews are always fun.
I enjoy your videos because I can relate. This one is no exception, except now I can relate with more people.
More pain cave's please, some are very impressive! Also agree with Adam, a score out of 10 for each..👍
Hahaha that was very funny. I like the caves. Please give each cave a score out of 10
hahaha that cat joke made me laugh. I love cats btw
I think "American Steve"'s pain cave has more square footage than my house.
LOL, I sleep outside on the lawn so I can keep the important stuff dry. 🤣
i only got my bedroom to work with, but the space saving ideas from this video are great. really enjoyed the messy ones most ngl.
Excellent. The pain cave reviews is how I found your channel in the first place... just get's better
These examples are fantastic! Very enjoyable! Hope you'll make another one.
Working on it today!
In regard to hanging upside down, they have something that wraps around your ankles and allows you to hook onto a pull up bar or bar of appropriate size
Love it - these are my favorite episodes for some odd reason.
The pain cave reviews really make me chuckle. Mini fans 😂 Good stuff Mark!
Love the reviews and your humor!
Thanks Mark, excellent stuff. More please.
Thanks for the feature, I actually watched this video steaming in from fishing in a snowstorm
Hi Chris, I just found this UA-cam Chanel and LOL when I heard your name. Way to Go buddy!!!
Second of your videos I've watched... Your humor is hilarious.. Subscribed
The TacX turbo trainer has in built lights. Good vid though look forward to the next paincave vid I will show mine
The LED under the staionary bike is a built in feature if I'm not wrong. Changes colour with watts. I have a Tacx neo 2t which has that feature and that looked like another tacx product.
Great vlog. Very entertaining. Some great spaces. I would like to have seen a lobster pot as well 😂😂
I would watch this man review nail polishes all day, so entertaining :D

Very good, very funny. Inspired me to send a pic in (but not till I’ve painted walls and sorted the floor! 🤣)
Great vid. Cheers
Just love these videos! Looking forward to the next one!! 🙌
The commentary on the last cave was incredible!
Hahahahahah love the sarcasm! Great video. You with your dog on your back…..kinda reminds me of something like how some women dress their dogs in a frilly dress.

Absolutely love these pain cave reviews!! Keep them coming Mark!!!!
Had a laugh, thats not that often watching youtube. Keep it up.
The second the red/white pain cave popped up, I thought American Psycho - glad I'm not the only one!
My "cave" is me on the balcony. Gets a bit chilly in winter, even in Australia.
Fun video. I enjoy your sense of humor and your efforts!
Great video. I love my pain cave. The Mrs is very jealous of it, which makes me love it even more. 😂👍
Very funny- good critiques of various setups. Enjoyed yur comments😂😎😏
Just brilliant! Please more!
Watching this while drinking a protein shake after a race on RGT....there's now a coating on my kitchen walls!😂
Great work Mark!👏
My job here is done then😂
Loving your channel Mark. Binge watching it after coming across it a few days ago.
Really enjoyed your review of pain caves. Had me in stitches 🤣🤣🤣.
"LED's under his bike even. Who does that?" Thanks Tacx Neo!!
Awesome video Mark, and quite a good sense of humour too I like it! keep it up, I'll try to share my pain cave I built from the ground up if you run another one, curious to know what you'd have a go at lol !
Thanks, I needed that. Great humour and such a good vid
Dude, very informative...and you are funny! Dig the commentary.
Great stuff, keep it coming.
epic series love every paincave
please do more!
Mark, the inversion table, if you have no room I remember inversion boots and people hanging from roof beams. maybe something to search for?
Hahahaha. You had me laugh out loud several times. Kudos for that!
Love your comments and original content. Good luck on Hirocks or Hirox, not sure.
more of these please :)
Love the pain cave Episodes. I'll be sending my setup soon

I need to get some net curtains for my set-up......don't have any windows but I like the feeling against my sweaty body
Very funny as always mark, good luck up the alpe and have a great Christmas and new year. 👍
Great video and great to see other people's pain caves, looks like I'll have to get one sorted in 2022.
Love this video! Had my cracking up…😂

Brilliant, very funny Mark.
Highly entertaining video, thanks Mark!
Think I spotted you flying past me at the start of Sherfield 10k this morning with Nixon and a GoPro!
Keep up the great content!
Ha! That would be me 😂🐶
Can’t wait for another pain cave review!!
Scott has an ice axe on the wall. That gets an extra point for being out in the snow and ice hiking or climbing (mountaineering?) Are those snow shoes with it?
