That is a luxurious pain cave !!! The lack of windows is not a problem in my opinion, most of my workouts are early in the morning before sun comes up..

Same here. Also, I find myself turning off all lights and workout in darkness with LED lights only.

Excellent new space - thanks for the great tour! I'd like to see what you do with the power and various cords - I have the same issue and would like to see less of them on the two trainers I have set up in the garage.

I will see if j can make a video on that eventually once I figure it out 🙂
Glad you enjoyed the tour. Thank you for watching 🙏🏼

Great setup! I went from a garage to a massive shed. I do LOVE my shed - it's at the end of my 50ft garden away from the house and it is dedicated to being a paincave...but...it is a shed. I'm just about to move house and am getting a garage back! I can't wait! I've already got so many ideas for what to do with the new space. Your video is giving me some great inspiration.

Great video - and great new pain cave quarters! Congrats!
Living in the west and not having a basement, we built a 20x10 pain cave studio in our back yard (Studioshed from Costco). I love the space and love that I have a designated workout area to go too. It’s definitely been a game changer to help build a healthier lifestyle.
Hope your new workout cave does the same for you.

That’s awesome… definitely a game changer when you have a dedicated space and helps with consistency. No excuses when the weather is bad.

Nice inspiring set up! Currently using an iPad pro and screen mirroring on a 1080 TV but the TV is so high on the garage wall mount only viewing for about 10% of riding time. So I did shop Amazon and purchased a stand. This was a necessary first step. Next up, DYI computer build to use specifically for Zwift.

Oh, I think we use the same mic. Also, have you ever watchesd Caleb's DSLR Video Shooter channel? He makes a lot of these 'little portable total studios on a desk' type setups. Your desk set up kind of reminds me of that. Great work on the new studio. Looking forward to seeing it all in action!!!

Ha… yes, I do watch Caleb’s videos. This is a similar setup to the one you are probably referring to. The ULANZI broadcast boom arm thing was one he used in his setup. Thanks. I’m looking forward to putting it to use and making contents.

The basement is probably a lot cooler too! I would think that means more watts.

It's been a while, nice to see you again!! You have created a fantastic space in your basement!! Just my opinion - the ceiling joists (or beams, or whatever they called) should be in natural wood color (or black, as they are now), but the ceiling itself should be white. Just to give you a feeling of "light" and illusion of wider space. But again, it's just my opinion. Well, anyway, you are absolutely right - your design looks very cool and stylish!!! Thanks for sharing!!! :)

Awesome space! Interesting on your CO2 readings being that much lower. I have my setup in a living room and it definitely spikes north of 17-1800 after a hard effort.
    Enjoy the new training digs!

    • @SmartBikeTrainers
      @SmartBikeTrainers  7 місяців тому +1

Thanks you! I was not expecting that low reading. During today’s ride, it took over an hour to go from around 700ppm to 1000ppm.

@@SmartBikeTrainers that’s good, means you’ve got great air exchange down there. Being close to the furnace probably helps as there’s no doubt a ton of air leakage from it.

      Graphic card is NVIDIA 3060ti

If you like the ceiling light fixtures and plan to buy more, buy them now. If you wait, you may find that they've been discontinued and no longer available.

I ride in the dark just the 55" TV for light.... gets you immersed better without any other distractions...!
