What is the Difference Between Dual Wall Corrugated Pipe & Single Wall Pipe?

I want to talk about the differences between single wall corrugated pipe and dual wall corrugated pipe. So this is single wall corrugated on the outside and corrugated on the inside, you can see the valleys. This is where you hear comments about how shingle gravel and debris gets trapped in the corrugated pipe. Well, if they're built right, that's usually not the case. They worked fine as long as they're built right. However, if the installer fails, the pipe will fail.
So to please everybody, they make a dual wall pipe corrugated on the outside, smooth on the inside. So this pipe cuts down on friction, moves more water. To connect it. It is. Hi French Drain Man, thanks for your videos! What kind of coupling should I use to connect Dual Wall Corrugated pipe to Single Wall Corrugated pipe and use the special sticky tape. If I lived in Michigan I would call you, but sorry I live about 800 miles away.

Hi hey thanks for your videos very informative, I live in North Myrtle Beach and I'm going to install some of my downspouts to get the roof water out of my yard. I have a few questions, 1) can I buy the pipe your using here meaning who makes so many I can go to a vender here and buy the supplies ? 2) are the why connections anything special and who makes them? I wanted to ask your opinion on what I'm going to do put 2 down spouts on 1 run along with a drain that drains my ac unit and I like to put a drain for a outside shower would a 4 inch double wall system be ample in your opinion? Being I live in South Carolina would it be ok just to hard pipe it or do you think I would have problems down the road with the glue joints?
