She’s mixing up electric sauna with infrared sauna here: it’s the infra red sauna that has dry air. Electric sauna is very humid, and good for the skin!
OMG THIS IS NOT TRUE! :O :O :O Quite the opposite is true - ALL (real) saunas are very HIGH in humidity. This is because the method saunas are meant to work: first stones are heated (either with burning wood or with electricity) and then the air is heated by throwing water on top of the hot stones. The hot water vapor heats up the air. So all real saunas are FULL of water vapor, at least they are as long as you are using them correctly. I live in Finland - you know the land in wich saunas were invented in (sauna is even a finnish word) - so I have a lot of experience of saunas. (We have saunas in every house and home here in Finland.) I have also extremely oily and acne prone skin. I have a lot of experience of saunas. Sauna is really good for the health of acne prone skin!!!
So good for the body over all. I can't stay away from the sauna 😂 I usually wrap my hair with a wet towel and moisturize my face beforehand....then shower after. Am I crazy, probably
Why do you think that? I'm not trying to be mean, I genuinely don’t see the logic in how a sauna would cause loss of elasticity, you must have a reason you think so
Winter swimming is very popular in Denmark. Taking a dip in the sea and then sauna. What do you think, would this be bad or great for my skin? Thank you, you saved my skin so many times
Please do a video on the no morning cleansing thing. Iv been seeing more people saying they don’t cleanse in the morning. How does that work? When I wake up I still feel traces of the night’s moisturizer on my skin. If this isn’t washed off with a cleanser will any toners or serums still penetrate?
Saunas in the summer are huge Finnish tradition for my family - I have eczema on my eyelids, and I’m not willing to skip out on summer saunas. Any tips for post-sauna practice?? A cream for eczema spots or anything??
I'm so obsessed with my #touchbeauty light therapy device. It really works well on my face. Blue light therapy helps to treat acne and breakouts, and yellow light therapy helps to even skin tone. Give it a try!!
i'm starting to break out in my early 20s. i use salicylic acid and retinoids aswell as sunscreen but it hasn't helped in the last months. is there anything i can do topically or is it just hormones and diet at this point
Dr I have a very serious concern regarding tretinoin...i started tretinoin 3 years ago in hopes to help my acne and hyperpigmentation...after using it for the 1 st month i saw i developed melasma like hyperpigmentation in my forehead and contour region (the skin area between the ears and cheeks) ... I never ever in my life had those melasma like thing before ... Its been three years and that shit is constant... I am a 100% sure i got it from tretinoin because when i stopped using it for like 1.5 months i saw significant decrease in that hyperpigmentation but when I restarted it( very very slowly i started with just a tiiiiiny rice grain amount, wore sunscreen religiously) i got those melasma like hyperpigmentation all over again.... I'm so depressed about it.. it's been 3 years n i really cant go around waiting for my skin to "fix"... No progress whatsoever...what should I do? Stop it forever?? It's a glorious product but that really deep brown hyperpigmentation is bugging me
Actually saunas here in EU have very high humidity 😇
Well we don’t all live in the damn EU so 😇

It’s still not good
So would steam saunas be ok, but not dry saunas?

How about steam sauna though?
Arent all saunas high in humidity? My GP would recommend I get a bowl of boiled water and steam my acne prone face regularly. Same thing isnt it?
I still love my sauna 🥰
Also hyperpigmentation - heat is a no no

Does sauna cause loss of skin elasticity? Resulting in lax/saggy skin? I would really appreciate your response!!

You said wood burning, does this advice apply to all types of saunas like infrared saunas or just wood burning?
This only applies to saunas where you don’t throw water on the heater. Normal saunas are very humid, not dry, because of the water vapor.

some people when they say no cleanse in the morning they mean that they just wash their face with water.

Se puhu jostain Amerikkalaisten saunasta jossa ei heitetä vettä kiukaalle, eihän suomalaiset saunat oo kuivia ku se löylyvesi haihtuu ilmaan koko ajan
Madam, kojic acid or vit C serum which is really effective? Please reply
I still love saunas though 🙈
And also a no no for rosacea
would it worsen rosacea?
What if I do my skincare right after this?
i thought that its actually a really good acne remey because it cleans your pores because of sweating, no?
