Boy am I late making a comment. My sister had a 1997 Infiniti G20 and I had to change the valve cover gasket twice because of this exact same problem. On the second fix I used a lot of black Permatex, especially around the spark plug gaskets, and it did the trick. My guess is that the valve cover warps over time from the constant heat.
A loving tip from a fellow UA-camr, if you want to succeed here, less music and more tripod and light. If the job takes you 3 to 4 times as long as it should- you're filming it right. You're setting up the camera on frame and it's not shaking etc. This means lots of editing and takes, but it's the only way to get anywhere in this new super competitive space. A good camera for low light like a Sony AVCHD helps a lot too.
+briansmobile1 Thank you for your tips,it means alot coming from a successful youtuber like you. I am considering in upgrading to a tripod and a new camera. i really appreciate your feedback with the music, i am looking back at my viedos i see what you mean. Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and Thank you for all your informative videos.
No problem brother! Don't forget about me when you're huge and famous huh?
briansmobile1 haha never that. any recommendations on a good video eating software? Thanks Brain
I'm using Cyberlink Director Suite. It's the Ford Taurus of editing software. It's what I'm trained in. Adobe gives you more options and editing power. Might be best to start in that.
briansmobile1 thanks alot for your response and keep a eye out for me, once again thank you for your tips and help 👍
Thanks bro that helped when taking care of mine!!
Rudolph Sagnelli thank you I appreciate it!
Thanks
Thanks for that great video. Can you also make a video on how to replace a leaking oil pressure sending unit? Thanks in advance.
What kind of power socket wrench do you use?
Great video! Did your G have an oil catch can? Looks like it's been removed.
xWR3KTx the 2000 and up don't have one if I'm not mistaking
Interesting. I pulled one from a G20 at a junk yard and I thought it was a 2002 but maybe not. Also your exhaust manifold heat shield looks much better than the '99 version.
+xWR3KTx I think that the valve cover is different on the 99 and older g20s the 2000 and up have a different valve cover on the 2000 and up there is a hose that goes from the valve cover down to the bottom of the engine this is how the oil gets put back in to the engine instead of having it in the catch can
ERICSDIYGARAGE wow you're right! I never noticed that. I bought and painted a 2002 SR20DE valve cover but it won't work on my '99 so I guess I'll hafta get another one
+xWR3KTx that sucks but you'll make your money back
You recommend using sealant all around the gasket?
No just on the cam half cut circles
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE thanks agian
Yo Eric my pcv valve gormmet fell in the valve you have any suggestions
it should have metal wash attached to the garment try to fish it out with a magnet
@@ERICSDIYGARAGE appreciate it and for your videos to 02 g20 is my first ever car and it's like you been helping me out in a way The Most High YAH bless bro

hello. can you make an video on replacing the two belts. I couldn't find one. I have an 2002 G20.
ANDY RIVERA yes give me a few weeks and i will make one 👍
I found out by looking around the area were belts were, how to do it. lol toke an hour to do both. I failed. but now to know how to do it. it's easy.
ANDY RIVERA glad to hear you were able to do it everything takes long the first you do it, i need to replace mine as well
My poor g20 is leaking around the entire valve cover 😫😫
Mine is starting to leak again, I recommend using Nissan seals to avoid this thank you for watching!
I’m dizzy AF! I couldn’t make it thru the whole video
You need a tripod
+Chan Nghiem when I made this video I did not have one but my new videos are better check them out.
