I made some witch bottles a few years ago on the day of the spring equinox and buried them near the four corners of my property. I won't go into everything I put in there, but as well as some salt and pointy things, I included some dirt and herbs from my yard. The bottles seem to be doing their job. :)

LOVELY! I like your videos and your voice. One of the Witch's Bottle I made was about 35 years ago. I buried it under a fur tree in our front yard facing some very rascally nasty neighbors. Needless to say, they moved away and I forgot about it until we had to move far away for my husband's job, Before we moved, I unearthed it and reburied it in a local park outside of our village under a tree. Later I discovered that the people who bought our house removed that fur tree. It had grown quite tall. Imagine their surprise if they would have uncovered my Witch's Bottle. We now live back in that same village, and no one to my knowledge has ever uncovered that bottle.

@@angrymetaldad5253 yeah, depending on what you put inside it can get pretty gross. The one I made you could see through when I first made it, now the contents are pretty black. Everything kinda “stews” in there!
I have made several. I included urine. I used a cup & funnel, I don’t like getting yucky either. Nails, pins, nail clippings. It was a smaller sized bottle not as small as yours, did not add herbs. Added a sigil of protection, sealed it with the cap & wax. We moved in such a hurry, I forgot to unbury the bottle. I understand they have trouble keeping tenants in the old address. Traditionally the old fashioned witch bottles made for centuries are buried and just left in place. Many people now don’t bury them. If it’s a traditional bottle like I made you generally keep it going because you’ll always need protection and shielding, but if you want to dispose of a witch bottle, you can unseal a witch bottle of any kind, the spell is ended. You can burn or bury any botanicals, crystals or other items can be cleansed if you wish and dedicated to other uses. Finally you can also cleanse and clear the bottle as well. You can cleanse any items using salt, smoke, sound (bells or chimes) moon water, Florida water, or any method you like. As far as a witch ball, if it’s the kind that’s just glass, I love those and would just keep it as is. If it’s a witch ball filled with magical items like herbs, flowers, crystals etc. you can do the same as you would for a bottle. I hope that helps! Blessings!
Mecurechrom? also known as Monkey blood.. it didn't burn, the other one DID - Merthiolate? - When I moved up north, from Tx, I had found a box of glass cigar holders, made 4 witchy tubes and planted them on all corners of our property .. 27 yrs ago. Will have to go rooting around the old farmhouse 'trash spot' and see if any bottles are there, that wee one turned out beautiful.
Yes, that's right! Some people called it monkey blood! I was going to mention that in the video and I totally forgot, thanks for mentioning that. Yeah, Merthiolate, I think that's the one that stings really bad.
Nivasi yeah the cigar holders you used sound really cool! Joyce also mentioned in the comments about spots where they would just put all the broken glass and trash, I wonder if that’s what that spot in the yard where all the glass comes up is? Very interesting!
I planted a tree in my front yard specifically for a bottle tree !! Next spring season her branches should be strong enough to hold the bottles . I've collected quite a few blue cobalt bottles and many many others from dump sites Ive come across while on my adventures.

Awesome little bottle and great story to go with it. I will be making a protection/warding witch bottle for my house next week. Working on my recipie I want for the spell and gathering the ingredients.
I’m so glad you enjoyed this little witch bottle! I love that stage in a spell when your gathering ingredients, it’s full of power, creative energy, and potential! I bet your bottle will be amazing!
@@MickieMuellerStudio It came out great by the way :) one of my favorite ingredients for protection bottles is porcupine quills. I work at a vet and we get dogs all the time with quills in their faces. Rather then throw them away I keep the ones that aren't broken. I feel them being used to protect like they were just makes them that much more powerful.
Was there ever an outhouse "down there" ??? A lot of people used to, in the olden times, put broken glass and bottles and things down in their outhouse. I now it sounds gross, but people have found wonderful things down in old outhouses.
That's very possible! There's a telephone pole there now, but I didn't think of an outhouse, that might be where all the glass is coming from! Great insight, thanks so much!
oh I'm definitely going to do it as i felt sick for a few days pain in my stomach and as i know my ex husband is jealous of me now so i think his put a bad vibe on me but not for long I'm making me a witch bottle

i know this is an old video.....but....these glass remains are bottles that were thrown into a privy, People had outhouses, that was how they dealt with household garbage, They threw it down the hole in the outhouse. I did Archaeology in college and you would be so surprised what people threw away!!!!
So I had a dream of a colorful snake on my kids bible and when I went for help it disappeared so I think I need to protect myself. I'm definitely going to try this. Does it have to be a glass bottle?
It's really up to the witch, but know what your magical ingredients are made of and make sure they correspond to your purpose. I do not like using plastic bottles for witch bottles myself, I prefer glass. I'm not the be-all end-all, and I'm sure there are other opinions on this, but I will share my reasoning. Everyone should decide what to do in their own practice and should do what works for them. Glass is made of natural materials, it's basically melted sand. Sand is tiny rocks and crystals, so those of you who are into crystals, there you go. Plastic is also made from natural materials, (in the sense that everything on earth is natural) cellulose, coal, natural gas, salt and, of course, crude oil. I personally have found plastic lower vibration than glass, so that I prefer using the energy of plastic for trapping something within such as freezer spells, letters that I have to keep but don't like the vibes, those go into a plastic bag with salt. I like glass for witch bottles because of what you want that bottle to do; the energy and items within is meant to reach beyond the bottle to repel and/or trap, and I find in my own practice that plastic is such a strong energetic container that it might not allow that energy to push through the confines of the plastic. These are just my thoughts on it, but if anyone finds something that works for them, definitely do it that way.
And that’s really it, we have to do what feels right to us, because witchcraft is personal. I bet Ducky makes some really badass witch bottles out of their recycled ink bottles, whether plastic or glass and that works for them and they’re keeping those items out of landfills. I can only tell you how I practice and why, there are many ways to do things, many paths, techniques, and perspectives. Listening to ourselves and figuring out what works for us is always a good thing.
I don’t sell witch bottles right now, it’s the kind of thing that’s most powerful created by the person who’s using it. Right now I only blend oils for my personal use, I do sell empty mojo bags in my Etsy shop with magickal symbols on them and in multiple colors, you can find my shop/shops in the descriptions of all my videos and in my About section.
Mickie Mueller Sweet thank you!🤗✨I use Selenite dust sometimes to purify my water for offerings but yes no Selenite in this jar😂 hope your having a lovely day!😊🌸💖💕💫
I came across your channel a couple days ago and I've enjoyed the videos I've watched so far! I was wondering, what if you find a witch bottle that is still sealed on your property? What would you do with it? I'd be afraid to do anything with it, I'd probably put it back where I found it or move it somewhere else on the property where it would be safe but I was wondering what your perspective would be on it. Thanks for your help and keep up the great work!
Hi Garrett and welcome! Your instincts are spot on, I would definitely not unseal it, just put it back or moving it to a better location on the property is a good idea.
Can I use a jar from salsa to make one? Or an old essential oil bottle? The lid is plastic, though. Will that work? Does it absolutely have to be sealed with wax?
Yes you can use a salsa jar or essential oil bottle, I love recycling alllll kinds of bottles and jars for my witchcraft. If the lid is plastic that should be fine. You don’t have to seal it with wax if you don’t want to. It’s suggested by some witches ( but not all) that if the jar is opened the magick will dissipate and will need to be re-filled and re-charged. If you want to ensure that it can’t be opened but don’t want to use wax, you could use super glue when you close it or wrap the top in twine to seal it, or you can just remember not to open it. Some people also work on a spell bottle or jar over many months and each item is placed with the intention that the magick stays and grows with each item added, in this case it can be opened over and over. The energy does whatever you tell it to. There are many ways to create a witch’s bottle, it’s perfectly fine to get creative and experiment.
Hi, I have two questions: Can you use push pins even though the handles of the push pins are made of plastic? And my second question is, does the candle wax have to be black or can you use white candle wax?
It will change color with time, mine is completely black now. With this kind of witch bottle it doesn’t matter if you know if it caught something or not because traditionally they were a “set it and forget it” kind of magick, even if it catches something, it will destroy it and keep working indefinitely. These were found buried under old houses or walled up in foundations because once it’s made nor further action is needed.
I’ve been planning a witch bottle. Thanks for the tips! Question: I found a small lower jaw bone of a possum with teeth still in it. Do you think this would be good in a witch bottle or is there a better purpose for it?
I would save the possum jaw bone for something else, I think I read something about possum bones somewhere, I’ll check a couple resources and get back to you here in the comments. I don’t have a ton of experience with bones, but it’s something I want to learn more about and I think I know where to look.
Depending on your tradition yes you can. There are lots of uses for coffin nails, I honestly have never used them myself but there are lots of resources that say they’re good for protection spells and setting boundaries.
I made some witch bottles a few years ago on the day of the spring equinox and buried them near the four corners of my property. And I totally relate to the mecuricomb...my precious Grandmother put it on every bug bite I ever got... my legs looked like I had orange freckles all summer!!! 😂
Thanks a million! I’m so glad you stopped by! 💖✨
Great memories right?!
@@MickieMuellerStudio YES!!! 🖤🖤🖤
WONDERFUL!! I am definitely going To make a witch bottle too 🖤💜🖤💜👍
Thanks for watching! I hope you enjoy working this method yourself!✨🖤✨🌙
@@RisingFromTheAshes97 porcupine quills!! What an absolute treasure! Thanks for sharing that!
I will be definitely making some of these for my sisters and myself!
i wonder if they had a glass bottle tree, ive always wanted one ha
@@Officialmysticwoman I want one of those bottle trees too! I’ve seen them made of iron and they’re so cool!
I’ve just moved into my new home so will make one of these over the weekend.. thank you for sharing ❤️🙏
Congratulations on your new home! That’s really exciting💜 a witch bottle for your new home sounds like just the thing!
I am making a big one for my house right now. And one to carry on me. Thank you for the video it was awesome
Awesome! Thank you!
That is VERY cool! Love it.
Thanks very much!
OMGs 😮 Brilliant 🖤🖤🖤
Love you found it! I use hair and nails clippings to add my bond.
Denise Cors that’s a great way to do it! Both hair and nails are great tag locks!
Never throw your hair in the garbage when u clean your brush. Put it in your compost. Or in your yard. Infuse your land with you.
Love this. Haven't made a witch bottle for ages. 🖤
I hadn't made one in awhile when I found that little bottle so I just had to!
oh I'm definitely going to do it as i felt sick for a few days pain in my stomach and as i know my ex husband is jealous of me now so i think his put a bad vibe on me but not for long I'm making me a witch bottle
You've got this!!
I'm definitely going to make something like this! That' awesome.
Excellent! I’m so glad you enjoyed it!
I love witch bottles! Thanks for sharing your process!
Thanks! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! It was really fun to make!
Thanks for this Mickie. Just came across this video. And I have the perfect bottle sitting there... waiting. I tried making my witches bottle a while back but, my intuition kicked in and somehow it was like it was telling me that it it wasn't the right time. So I'm waiting for that right moment spark to do it. Great find by the way. Beautiful bottle. Blessed be. 😇
I’m so glad! It’s always good to listen to that intuition, it won’t lead us wrong. I bet your bottle will be amazing when the time is right. 🖤✨🌙
@@MickieMuellerStudio Thanks Mickie. And I know it will be.

Thank you so much!
Mickie Mueller 🖤 you’re welcome 😊
love this!! thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
I made one for our place here at the farm about 16yrs ago. It might be time to make another one maybe? The first one doesn't seem to have stopped working but.. (any excuse to do more magic in a given day right?) ;)
Yeah, they generally don’t stop working as long as they stay sealed, but you can definitely make more than one!
Omg do u have some of those broken bottles & stuff u guys find in your yard?? I am super interested in some of those! Is there a way i can get some of your finds?? Please & 🙏🏻 thanks.. much love, Heidi 🤗 @mickiemuller
I’m sorry, I don’t have them any more. Blessings!
Mickie Mueller awww darn.. well if u ever go digging, i would love some of them.. if it be possible. And i just found your channel.. definitely loving ur vids.. i been bing watching them & learning. Blessed be! ✨🌻
I’ll definitely keep that in mind, you never know what we’ll find! 💖 I’m so glad you’re enjoying my channel.
I actually have a few witch bottles that i made watching this and i have a lot of witch stuff like bottles Dream Chachers and a few other stuff and i know a few spells that are real like wish for things and love spells and my mom knows about this and drew me like pretty art on my wall like moon and stars
Oh how wonderful! You’re living a beautifully enchanted life! ✨🌙💜🖤
@@MickieMuellerStudio :)
i know this is an old video.....but....these glass remains are bottles that were thrown into a privy, People had outhouses, that was how they dealt with household garbage, They threw it down the hole in the outhouse. I did Archaeology in college and you would be so surprised what people threw away!!!!
Thanks for the info, I had another person tell me that irl as well after the video. Glad I washed it!!! 😂
I think the cap says "Rust Proof Cap"
Gasp! You might be right! And it isn't rusted, just some of the paint chipped off. Great eye!
I agree. That’s what I see as well
Found one on etsy. Looks like an old purex bottle.
Can you use Christmas ornaments that isn't round shape
I think you could. They’re traditionally round but I usually don’t mind breaking with tradition and updating a concept.
So I had a dream of a colorful snake on my kids bible and when I went for help it disappeared so I think I need to protect myself. I'm definitely going to try this. Does it have to be a glass bottle?
Personally I just use what I have. My rule of thumb is it has to be thick plastic. For me that is ink jars. So yes you can!
Thanks so much for your taught. I did use a glass bottle and it felt right.
So true. It all comes down to ourselves and what gives us that feeling of content and comfort.
Do you sell these protection bottles? Also do you sell protection oil and mojo bags? I would definitely buy them. Thanks
This was great thank you! Could I charge my witch’s bottle on/with Selenite?
Yes, absolutely, of course don't put it in the bottle it will dissolve.
@@MickieMuellerStudio Thanks for getting back to me! I appreciate the feedback! Take care and blessed be!
Im not grossed out so easily. Especially if its my own.
@@MickieMuellerStudio Thank you so much.
I have them and teach others.
Awesome!
I would like to make a witch bottle for my mother’s house. What about putting one of these in your car?
I usually do charm bag for the car, that’s a great video idea!
Yes i will be making one. I currently have a relative of my partner hexing everyone like shes a jealous queen. Jaja
Ugh they’re the worst people like that. Sounds like you’ve got this though. Keep standing in your power and the jealous queens work will just fizzle!
Hi, I have two questions: Can you use push pins even though the handles of the push pins are made of plastic? And my second question is, does the candle wax have to be black or can you use white candle wax?
Yes to both!
how do you know if its caught something and its time to redo the bottle? my contents in my bottle have turned blackish brown(it contains a liquid tho)
@@MickieMuellerStudio thank you so much for responding and easing my mind a little more❤
Absolutely Chelsey, glad to help!
For a family of 6 how many bottles should one make
Just one, it protects the home and all residents.
Does the size of the bottle matter?
Not really, the ones found in archeological sites were much larger, like bottles from alcohol, and I usually make pretty small ones.
Hello! Can new witches do this..?
I keep getting signs to do protection ...by numbers and accidental writings...
Yes! This is a very traditional form of protection magick and perfect for new witches and experienced witches alike.
I live in a apartment can I just bury it in a pot were I have one of my plants?
Yes! Crabanedhel mentioned in the comments that they do that in every apartment that they move into.
Perfect!!! Thank you for your response 😊
Hey ❤ Can I put coffin nails in my witches bottle?
Depending on your tradition yes you can. There are lots of uses for coffin nails, I honestly have never used them myself but there are lots of resources that say they’re good for protection spells and setting boundaries.
@@MickieMuellerStudio Thank you 🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
rather than urine I use a mouthful of alcohol... it puts my DNA in it and the fireball alcohol
That’s a great idea!
