Protection Spell Bag | Simple Spell

- One of the most commonly requested spells I receive is that of a protection spell (most commonly in the form of a protection spell bag). So today I thought I would sit down and take a moment to craft one to share with you all!
As always I am very drawn to simple spellwork as I find they are most accessible for a wide variety of people and not to mention - very easy to alter! So I hope you all enjoy and give it a try with your own twists as needed!
Ingredients:
A Cloth Pouch - preferably white (decorate with runes or symbols as you see fit)
Bay Leaf - commonly worn as a protective herb
Blackberry Thorns - one of my favorite ingredients for protection spells
Burdock Root - very commonly added to spell bags for protection
Black Thread (optional) - used to decorate the pouch with protective symbols or runes and to tie it off
Crystals or Stones (optional) - I personally didn't use any but feel free to if you so wish
Other Ingredient Recommendations or Substitutions (not a completed list):
Chrysanthemum, cinnamon, dill, elder, fennel, geranium, holly, huckleberry, juniper, lavender, lilac, mugwort, nettles, thistle, and witch hazel
To Make:
Begin by cleansing the area or grounding yourself - really anything that you normally do before preforming spellwork to get in the right headspace. Personally I cleansed the area and my ingredients with the smoke from a cedar bundle and spent a moment grounding myself to the energy I created
Start by decorating the spell bag with whatever symbols or runes you see fit - this is an optional step but one I like to do for spell bags that could use a bit more power
Then take a good handful of each herb and infuse your intent into them before placing them into the spell bag. Or as depicted here you could place each herb, after infusing your intent, into a bowl together, spend another moment infusing intent as you mix them all together, then placing them into the spell bag
For those of you that struggle with infusing intent you may also write down your intent or draw it out and place that into a bowl with your herbs to infuse intent that way before adding this to the spell bag
Once your ingredients are all in the bag, tie it off with the black thread and spend another moment infusing your energy to it and entangling them together
Then simply carry it with you whenever you feel the need to have an added bit of protection around you.
A spell bag like this will work as a preventative ward to keep negative and dangerous energies and situations at bay.

I believe that a lot of ‘churches’ carry a residual fear of the craft from the time of witch-hunting. But, just a the Christian God is not actually separate from the practice of science, the same can be said of His connection to witchcraft/herbalism/homespun remedies. Keep being strong enough to be open to what speaks to you intuitively and spiritually. This will bring light to the path you walk, even if it is a narrow path rarely taken by others. Introspection is key.
Yes! I was tied to the Christian church for a while as well and it's taken me a long time to 'de-program' myself away from those doctrines. I didn't feel much of a calling to try out witchcraft until I came across her channel. She is so peaceful and its contagious!!! She makes witchcraft look so accessible and grounding :)

Galatians 5:20-21 along with witchcraft anyone who is jealous, angry, or has rivalries cannot enter the gates of heaven and that pretty much consists of everyone. It is not your actions that save you but your relationship with the God.
When I’m using bay leaves, I often will write a single word on the leaf with a silver or gold sharpie to help seal my intent! 🥰. thanks Annie!

It is interesting, I have made the similar protection talisman just a month ago!) I used basil, shamrock, rosemary and bay leaf with a dark-indigo silk bag. I think, a red linen bag would be good too. And I wanted to say it after the previous video - your new cut is so beautiful! You look like a fairy spirit of the forests)
Every group has a harsh critic or two. I have found the way to go is through the heart and intuition, with love for self and others. Sometimes they make it difficult; alas the challenge. I for one am certain we choose our paths and obstacles for the lives we live in order to expand spiritually. To become static in hatred in detrimental to our spiritual growth. See what you learn through eyes of wisdom and forgiveness. Keep your strength by remaining true to yourself. And yes, it doesn’t hurt that the Green Witch has beautiful aesthetics in sight and sound. Very comforting for me too.

In my journey learning witchcraft, i heave learned that I've truly been in tune since I was a child. We had a huge rosemary bush when I was a child and I was very attached to it. I took twigs off it and pressed them in my diary when I left my hometown even. Same with the morning glories on my gate. I never worked well with Christianity, and I always moved back to the practices my mom did when she was originally a witch. I've never felt more at peace than when I was in my aunt's (who is still a practicing witch) herb garden. The herbs you mention and things you say feel nostalgic, and it almost made me cry. It feels right. I feel right, peaceful, and happy now. Your channel is helping me so much, and I can't wait to learn more and more. Thank you!!

Cloves, garlic, mullein and rosemary are my go to herbs for protection! (and rose thorns from the bushes I grow)
i felt alot of positive energy resonate from this video and i think it healed and inspired me . i was led here due to having a bad day at work due to bullies. I have no idea what to do but I have faith everything will be okay.
My beloved doggy daughter has been getting stung by bees and red ants this season in a harsh, prickly and hostile land (southern California). Poor little thing has severe allergic reactions to them and has needed emergency vet care every time. Needless to say, my intense love for her will have me making this protection spell for her. My spirit is telling me you need incense. Any flavor would do. Just burn it before going outside and you direct the fumes towards clothing and skin. This will protect your child. I also recommend you talk to the bees, and let them know you do not want any more incidents. They will hear you, if you speak to the flowers as well. We are all connected. All the best.

I love different spells and other things
You should do a video about finding nature in the city, as well as growing plants in an apartment. For desert witches: bougainvillea thorns don't mess about, especially if you collect them from an old/established plant.

Hey! I'm a big fan! I love the use of charms and amulets. I'm almost sort of a chaos magician, but I mostly work simple charm bags, rings, crystals, sigils, knots, etc. I used to use tarot a lot, but I've been leaning a little bit more to scrying (visions from reflective surfaces, like crystal balls) and pendulums. There is always a great joy in the simplistic, but knowing the exact procedure that gives it power is really beneficial.
