Luther at the very height of his powers, following shortly after the album "the night I fell in love", perhaps the greatest end to end R&B album ever written, and soon to be followed by "give me the reason", another seminal album. Luther from 85 to 90 is really just special, very tough to match.
Gregory Hines was primarily known as an amazing tap dancer. It was only later that we found out that he could really sing and act as well. Multi talented man.
