I watched this video about a month ago knowing that I would never be able to apply these tips since female driving is banned in Saudi. Today I am watching it again and jotting down notes along the way as the ban has finally been lifted 🚘❤💃
I am a minimalist too, but you should never, ever be in your car without a flashlight (if you are stranded, you don't want to waste your cell battery using it as a flashlight), at least one bottle of water. and a small first aid kit. Safety first- esthetics second!
Love your organization style. I would urge everyone to carry a car emergency kit with at least a first aid kit and weatherproof flashlight (in case your phone isn't charged). The car emergency reflective markers are good to have as well in case you have to pull over in the dark. Even with roadside assistance or emergency services, they may not be able to get to you immediately due to traffic, weather or bad cell service. I was able to assist someone in a medical situation because I had a first aid kit in my car. It is better to have a car emergency kit even though it takes up a little room than to be stuck in a situation where you need it and don't have it. Thank you for sharing with us all your style and organization ideas.
Nikki, you inspire me so much. I am truly grateful that I found your channel. My house is slowly becoming a home and I have been motivated again for the first time in years. God bless, thank you x
Nikki, you are so Blessed! And, one amazing woman. You have mad skillz in varying degrees...interior design, staging, hauling, refreshing and organization. I love all of your videos. I get great ideas while also being entertained.
Every time I write you, you must think I'm crazy because I just am amazed at all you do and gush with admiration! My car (only one year old) looks nothing like this! You. Are. Amazing. I will honestly make an effort this week to DECLUTTER my car and use your ideas! Great job as usual, Nikki!
Beautiful. I'm with you . Love a clean car with simple products. I do keep a plastic tablecloth in the rear of my car in case I need to pick up plants or other messy products. Great video. ~Jess
Excellent idea, too! You can pick up very inexpensive ones at Ocean State job lot or any job lot store. I am on my way because Mum season is coming and your idea was so timely! Thanks!
Love your minimalist approach in your car. I'm a mom of a toddler and I maintain my car the same, very tidy, clean and organize. I never eat inside my car and I don't keep anything there unless it's car related. It's very essential to carry survival items in the trunk in case of an emergency. I have an organizing cady in my truck with a first aid kit, extra drinking water, jumper cables, flashlight, spare tire, car jack, tire pressure reader, 1 gallon of water if car gets over heated, heated blanket, tool box, energy bars, extra napkins, collapsible bowl and cup, bags, umbrella, mesh, and squeegee. In my console i have console storage tray organizer with pens, calculator, hand sanitizer, gum and dental floss. Under that tray I always a cosmetic bag with two large compartments. There I have my mini body sprays, mini lotions, hand cream, hair ties, lip balm, mini mirror, wipes, tissue and extra change. Other console my car information and my personal documents. My other stuff inside would be child car seat, mini trashcan in my cup holder, car deodorizer and backseat toy organizer. My car specifications and maintenance record binder I keep in my home or car. I love your leather document organizer binder, where can I find one like that?
Man, I wish my car was that clean. I love the accordion file for the glove box and uniformity of color in the files, bag and cloth. You hit it out the park once again. Striving to be more organized.
Last week I searched for car organization videos expecting to find yours, I watched a few but they just weren't my style and now you have one. Thanks so much!
Thanks for your thoughtfulness Melissa. I do appreciate it. With the type of car I have it is high risk using jumper cables, and can damage with the electical parts of my car. No worries because I have a great service with my car.
Melissa Kowalski I agree with Jumper cables. I had a new battery that froze on me and wouldn't start. Jumper cables in my trunk saved the day. And didn't have to wait on roadside who are not quick at all, to show up.
Nikki you are a lifesaver! I was just totally frustrated searching for things and I'm supposed to have in my car and and this video just popped up just in time. Perfect!
I love this! I've seen so many car organization videos and I felt like they had too much for my lifestyle. It's always good to keep things minimalistic as well :)
YAY FIRST VIEW!!! I would love to see your list of ideas for parents to have in their cars or even a car interior cleaning video :) Keep up the great work Nikki!
Great video! I can tell you truly take the time to care and appreciate your things. Your videos have given me the motivation to purge and organized within my own home. I want my home to reflect my pride and appreciation as well.
I just bought a new car and I'm trying so hard to keep up with weekly washings (it's white) and to make sure my teens remove ALL of their belongs when they exit the car. It gives me a sense of comfort and peace to get in and out of a clean car. They are old enough that I don't need all that junk either. Love your video.
Hi Niki.. thanks a lot.. I love it when my car is clean and minimally stuffed, too.. however I do think it might be a great idea to keep a throw in the winter at the back seat.. just in case someone feel cold, especially in a long trip.. thanks again..
I'm the same way. I want my car clean inside and out. I do always keep a microfiber cloth in my side pocket to wipe anything off . Sometimes if I go to a drive up windows the drinks my be overflowed so it always comes in handy! TFS 👍
Love the minimalist approach! I also use a reusable grocery wine bag with pockets for a mini cleaning kit (for bird droppings, which are murder on black paint) - a few cloths, water and spray detailer. Otherwise minimal. First aid and emergency kits live in the compartment with the spare tire out of sight. Thanks Nikki for a fresh approach to car organisation!
Wow! LOVED IT! Excellent as usual! I would still love to see a video about the organization of your cleaning caddy, your master bathroom, and about how your husbands closet is organized!
I love your minimal car organization. I think my dad might disown me if I didn't have jumper cables (not that I'm not terrified to use them) and a tire gage in my car at all times. I have one of those collapsable crates in my trunk with essentials (lug nut key, jumper cables, windshield washer fluid, etc.). I was taught to always be prepared for an emergency and since I've been a member of AAA since I started driving, I'm not sure why it's important for me to have all this emergency gear. But it makes my dad feel better, so that's what I do. Crazy for a grown woman... but whatever it takes! The things we do for our parent's peace of mind...
This has to be one of my favorite videos you've made! Thank you for sharing your car organization tips because even the most organized person can forget about keeping their car tidy :)
OMG my middle console is like that!!! But my bags are colored so the categories are clearly identifiable for little ones. My family always needs lotions, tissues hand sanitizer and all kinds of stuff so I have those tucked away. Love that purse holder.
I just returned a coffee maker to a friend. I borrowed it for an event. It's been in my trunk since March. Now I carry my folding chairs (in drawstring bag) in the trunk with bug repellent. This is just in case we attend an outing at the last minute. Believe me they have been quite handy. Thanks so much for the video.
I can proudly say that my car looks just like that. I'm kind of obsessed about having it clean and shiny. The only things I keep well hidden in the trunk are recycled shopping bags for groceries and basic tools in case I need them. Regards from Panamá, love your work.
Lovely and simple presentation, Nikki. You gave me some new ideas on keeping my car clean and clutter-free 👍🏽😊😊. I actually use the netting in the trunk of my car when grocery shopping. Keeps stuff from rolling around in the trunk. Watching your video actually helped me hook it right ( I did a bootleg job, lol 😄😄) . That's why we need you, Nikki. Keep them coming. Thanks again 😊
Nikki, please please please get an emergency seat belt slasher/window breaker/emergency light combo. And keep it where you, the driver, can reach it if you are upside down in your car or in a flash flood situation. You can always put it in a cute pouch! I also encourage people who live in areas with extreme weather to outfit your car aggressively. We couldn't have gotten away with that minimal trunk in rural Vermont!
Most cars are designed so their headrests come out to be used as a window smasher in case of emergency. Just wriggle the headrest upwards until it slides out and use the metal poles to pierce through the window
Yesss! I'm the same way! I don't keep much in my car at all because I just bring whatever I need in and out. As usual, I love how everything coordinates! 😊
I "liked" this before I even watched it because I already knew I was gonna love this. Thank you for putting yourself out there and helping the rest of us nikkie!
I loved this video .I live with my family so my room and my car are the my little spaces that I can really keep tidy and organised , so this was really handy for my car ! :)
There were some good tips in this video. I like the idea of every thing being black, I have a black on black car so I understand. My glove compartment can use a cleaning up like how you have done. It is very clutter free. I also do not have jumper cables in my car, and use the flashlight on my phone. All that I am missing is a hand held vacuum for the car for quick clean up. Thanks for sharing.
I am very much a minimalist when it comes to our car as well, but since I was caught in a flood last year, I now have a First Aid Kit plus a small blanket for emergencies under the boot.
I just picked up my new car and was wondering how to keep my car organised with 4 kids! I thought... Nikki would surly have a video on this- and there you were! This video popped up on my screen! New sub here for the last couple of days!! Love your channel, all the way from Australia!
Such a beautiful vehicle! I've enjoyed being a mom of young ones, but since my children are adults, I can finally keep my car very clean. It is black too! Thanks for such neat tips! 🚗❤️
I luv the idea of the glove compartment organizer. I will be looking out for something similar to that for my car. Thank you for the great suggestions of keeping my life organize
I loved this video! You have several great ideas for organization and appearance and I'm so glad I watched this one. Really happy I recently found your channel; subscribed immediately a few weeks ago.
Love the video, thanks for sharing! For safety a compact ice pick for the windshield would be good to have under the car seat. Also if ur cell runs out of battery a compact flashlight might be helpful.
Nikki...you are always organized and share great organization tips.... Thanks so much for sharing the tip of what is suitable to your needs...that statement will hopefully cut down on the comments of what you don't have in yours..
Thanks for the video. I love the idea of your little accordion file in the glove compartment. As for your trunk...I would love to have mine clear, but I always seem to have stuff for Goodwill in there or my biggest headache is what to do with those reusable shopping bags. In California, grocery stores charge us for bags...and Target and Walmart...do you use them where you're at? How do you store them and where?
lisacarpentersoares Hi! I actually keep just 2 reusable bags that fold compactly in my purse. I find I never need more than 2 because as I load and unload the cart or my car, I tend to have just a few small things and the rest are fine without a bag.
lisacarpentersoares I have a pocket behind the driver's seat and I put my reusable there. Saves time from having to open the back especially if it is raining.
+lisacarpentersoares I have a trunk organizer in my car.It have Velcro underneath so it doesn't move, and I put my reusable bags in it so my bags are not spread all over the trunk.the organizer have two sides so one for my bags the other for my jumping cable, flashlight, extra umbrella,etc..
Great video as always. My box just came while I was watching this...super excited. Now I'm ashamed to say I have no lil ones but my car need a great cleaning. I just read that people who appreciate their belongings show it by taking care of them. I got work to do but I'm on it.
Thank you for showing the hooks you use to hang your purse in the car. I usually put my purse on the passenger side in the front seat, but of course if I have to stop suddenly it goes flying!! I now have a great solution-Thank You!
You must be a mind reader. I have been watching other car organization videos bc I did not see one on your channel. I had been hoping you would do one. What a great surprise!
Wow this is helpful!! Ive watched you for years and I love your organizing style! I wish you lived in Alabama because I sure could use your help in my small 2br 1.5 bth. I just don't know where to start lol!

Thank you so much Adrianna! I appreciate you and you keep me so inspired my friend! Hugs and Love Nik
She literally seems like the sweetest laddie I'm obsessed, every time she says friends it just melts my heart 😂😍

I want to be like you when I grow up....I love how organized you are even in your car!
Best car organization video, thank you. Just what you need and not like other videos where people has more stuff than space.
Beautiful. I'm with you . Love a clean car with simple products. I do keep a plastic tablecloth in the rear of my car in case I need to pick up plants or other messy products. Great video. ~Jess
Great idea!

Jessica Lynn thats an awesome idea!
I didn't think of having a phone contact list. Thanks💜
Carol F I need to add one too.
Carol F right, that's a great idea
Yes! That's the best tip in this video, I think! I need to organize my glove compartment, lol.
Nicki thank you for being a good role model for all women. You are positive, upbeat, and represent true class. Thank you!

Last week I searched for car organization videos expecting to find yours, I watched a few but they just weren't my style and now you have one. Thanks so much!
I swear....i was having a bad day, and yiur video pops up and it cheered me right up. Regardless of tue content, hour videos inspire me so much
You, how Jen does it & vaseur are my favorites. Thanks for posting.
You really should have a first aid thing in your car and jumper cables cause you never know when you need those things ❤️❤️
Thanks for your thoughtfulness Melissa. I do appreciate it. With the type of car I have it is high risk using jumper cables, and can damage with the electical parts of my car. No worries because I have a great service with my car.
Okay that's good to know 😀
And a flashlight.

So you don't have to have a first aid kit in your car in America?
Incredible, Nikki! I am terrible at keeping my vehicle clean & organized, so thank you for the ideas and inspiration! 😘
Short sweet and full of great tips...Love the color coded car notebook and air freshener in glove compartment.
Nikki you are a lifesaver! I was just totally frustrated searching for things and I'm supposed to have in my car and and this video just popped up just in time. Perfect!
Thank you Lisa! That means so much to me that the video came right on time!! Sorry it took so long! Hugs and Love Nik
I love this! I've seen so many car organization videos and I felt like they had too much for my lifestyle. It's always good to keep things minimalistic as well :)
Wow, i wish my car look like that..
LOL! Well from the looks of your screen name it sounds like you may have 3 beautiful reasons. Thanks so much for watching my friend! Hugs and Love Nik
Another beautiful Nikki video!!! Love it 😍
Thank you so much Lacuanda! I hope all is great your way! Hugs and Love Nik
I am addicted to your videos. I can't wait to rebinge watch all your videos once I get a home of my own
I had to come back to this video to help me get my car organized. Thank you again for the inspiration.
Love the minimalistic! I have 2 grandchildren so I do have to carry certain things. I do however, love clean and organized!
Your car is so clean it looks like the ones from the dealership so nicely organized and minimalist so beautiful!
YAY FIRST VIEW!!!
I would love to see your list of ideas for parents to have in their cars or even a car interior cleaning video :)
Keep up the great work Nikki!
Thanks for sharing! What kind of air fresheners do you use?

Yes...an empty car is a clean car! I love how you matched the few accessories you have to the car interior.
I just returned a coffee maker to a friend. I borrowed it for an event. It's been in my trunk since March. Now I carry my folding chairs (in drawstring bag) in the trunk with bug repellent. Great idea keeping things the same color as The car interior. It really did look much neater

I'm just in aww with your house & car everything is just immaculate! 💗
I really like that you get started right away in your videos without a long intro 😊😊 Great video!
I love all your videos I get excited time each time you make a new one

So beautifully organized! Thank you Nikki!
You always have the best organization gadgets! Time for me to organize my car!

I don't have a car but wow, major #CarGoals. I love it! So sleek and yet looks comfortable and elegant.
I am very much a minimalist when it comes to our car as well, but since I was caught in a flood last year, I now have a First Aid Kit plus a small blanket for emergencies under the boot.
I love the auto docs file idea.
I really like the Idea of keeping contact information on hand. Love it!!!!
By far the best car organization video I've seen! :)
Okay Nikki, when are you going to release your organization book? Fabulous Ideas as always! This was so helpful!!!
You are my favourite and you are right LESS is more!!! Keep it simple and beautiful
Finally an adult car organization!!! Thank you Lord!
I luv the idea of the glove compartment organizer. I will be looking out for something similar to that for my car. Thank you for the great suggestions of keeping my life organize
#CarGoals I aim to be able to keep my car clean and organized like this. I'm going to try to start. Thanks Nikki. 😊
Thank you Nikki! Was one of those waiting for this.😄
I went straight in the garage and reorganized my car! Great video!! I always keep the cars tidy but this gave me some new ideas!
I loooove this channel. Everything is so chic' and classy.
That’s what do we think a like on so many areas of cleanliness, thanks. I am not crazy.
Nikki...you are always organized and share great organization tips.... Thanks so much for sharing the tip of what is suitable to your needs...that statement will hopefully cut down on the comments of what you don't have in yours..
Can I ask where you bought the black bag in your middle section with your charger and your folder cady that your glove box papers are in?
I have a pretty tote bag in the car that I keep hooked with extra bags. I don't think a trunk has to be empty: just clean and organized.
lisacarpentersoares I have a pocket behind the driver's seat and I put my reusable there. Saves time from having to open the back especially if it is raining.
lisacarpentersoares I have reusable shopping bags, a picnic blanket and a stroller so my trunk is always full!😣
+lisacarpentersoares I have a trunk organizer in my car.It have Velcro underneath so it doesn't move, and I put my reusable bags in it so my bags are not spread all over the trunk.the organizer have two sides so one for my bags the other for my jumping cable, flashlight, extra umbrella,etc..

omg I am in car heaven the accessories gave me life...Yes Nikki.
I love this. I spend more time in my car and I would like to really do this.
Great video! Where did you purchase the auto doc organizer?
Thank you for showing the hooks you use to hang your purse in the car. I usually put my purse on the passenger side in the front seat, but of course if I have to stop suddenly it goes flying!! I now have a great solution-Thank You!
You must be a mind reader. I have been watching other car organization videos bc I did not see one on your channel. I had been hoping you would do one. What a great surprise!
Awesome video I always keep my car organized but my husband car is a different story! Thanks for sharing!
You are perfect.. I love it please teach us more I never thought to make contact list or color code anything in my car
You've just inspired me to clean out my car tomorrow. I have thrift finds, trash, and some shopping hauls that have to be cleared away.
Wow this is helpful!! Ive watched you for years and I love your organizing style! I wish you lived in Alabama because I sure could use your help in my small 2br 1.5 bth. I just don't know where to start lol!
These tips are AWESOME!!! I NEEDED this!!!
...and this is nikki saying goodbye🚘..so clean, love it!
I like to have my emerg. stuff in my trunk, so I have an extra blanket, sweater, mini fire ext. water, food bars, etc.
Yes! Flashlight is important too.
