Thank you for one of the best UA-cam demos I've seen yet. Bought one of these years ago, and never realized all it would do. Guess it's time (now retired) to yank this down off the shelf and play a little more!
Funny ... I've had this pedal for over 10 years now. Even though it's 'dated' in many ways, the sounds are just as great now as when I first bought it, and despite it's limitations it still sounds as good as my chain of stomp boxes.
Icons of guitars are used to select the input sensitivity. If you use a guitar with Single-coil pickups you have to select the icon Stratocaster (High Input). If you use a guitar with Humbuckers you have to select the icon Les Paul (Low Input).
I've owned one for close to 20 years. I've rearranged the patches made a few sounds. I've always liked it. And as I say to the haters. If you heard me playing you'd have no clue to my setup
I'm a late bloomer to the guitar game & I picked up this effects box a couple yrs. ago for $30. It works fine, came with the pre-loaded stuff, plus another 15 or so of the previous owner's presets. I'm still learning the thing, pretty much going to leave it alone & live with what I think are its strong suits as is. I'll be changing some of the some of the patterns though to my liking over time.
Thank you for this video! I got one off a trade on Craig’s List..and i am having a strange nostalgic feeling of the time I used to mess around with Boss drum machines such as DR5 and DR550 or even DR220..this unit is a guitar pedal, but the molded plastic, the NO backlight LCD and the overall built quality is a reminiscent of those days. . It is made in Japan, mind you, and will never quit on you unless you deep fry it or something. In my opinion, one could use this unit mainly on the manual mode for mods, delay/rvb, and as an expression pedal. The presets are pretty terrible and the distortion/od are probably to be skipped. Do not take it to a dark lighted gig, unless u have a magnifying glass and a flashlight, as editing sound could be a challenge with this Knob-less device.. I use it on restaurant gigs and bar gigs as kind of an all in one light weight(literally) Wah/Volume pedal that has a Rvb/Dly/mod option.its pretty stable on the floor and it can take some serious abuse like a good old brave samurai. A must have for a guitar gear junky.
This pedal is really bad, I bought one 10 years ago, when you switch effects it stops the sound with a click noise, the audience looks at you as if you don't know what your doing. and the sound are really mediocre. Save your money and buy something else

Thank you for watching. 😄
I used to own one of these! Like 15 years a go! Nice to hear it again!
I still have one!! Dug it out a few days ago, still works perfectly....all of my completely over processed sounds are still there!!
Had one of these back in the 90s, played it through a peavey bandit transtube, kicked ass !!
90's?? I thought this came out early 2000's.
Think it was about 97

Roberto de la Iglesia Can you use it for Bass?
Guitar and bass have different sound frequencies, so it will sound strange.
Roberto de la Iglesia But I guess for 50 bucks I can try it

Bank 5: 1&2 are quite nice sounding and bank 6: 2. Thanks for sharing this.
