- 1999年5月、電化後初の架線集電の車両として誕生。4号機関車に比べると静か。出力も200Wと十分で貨物列車や混合列車を牽引して自宅周回軌道（軌道線）を走り回っていました。
凸型のデザインを採用したので、運転台は狭いのですが、マスコンなど質感もアップしています。
試行錯誤して製作したパンタグラフを装備していたのですが、問題も多く 最終的にはポール集電となり、軌道線でのみ活躍し、その後廃車・解体されました。

The owner wanted to make a turnout similar to the real thing, but it was technically difficult, so a "stub switch" was adopted.
At one time, a temporary railway was run by loading cars and rails onto trucks.
We also sometimes gave away rolling stock to people who wanted to build railroads in their homes. (Of course, onto truck)

I've been wanting to put a gauge like this in my backyard running into the front yard so I can haul gondola cars around to move yard waste and gardening :3 I would use a steam locomotive instead though :D

On the other hand, with electric you don't need a boiler certificate.
@@sarahtaylor6007 you don't need any certificate for live steam and it's fairly straight forward to operate.

物流会社レベルでの採用例は存じませんが、当鉄道を参考に庭園鉄道を造られる方は多いと聞いております。
また、動力車は無いものの、昔の酒屋さんには15インチゲージと思われる原料輸送用の軌道を敷いていたところもあったとか…

流石にパンタグラフは市販されてなさそうだから、完全自作!?
しかし、個人で架線集電式を実現するって、スゲーな（感電の心配ないの？）
動画をご覧いただきありがとうございます。5号電気機関車のパンタは失敗の連続で、ポール集電に切り替えられましたが、その後 改良を続け、2022年現在 南山線で稼働しているパンタグラフは設計・製造者の自信作です。架線にはDC36Vの電気を流しています。絶対に感電しないとは言えませんが、低電圧・低電流にしています。
ちゃんとポイントもあり引き込み線もありましまね、貨物車は、スーパーの買い物を運んでいるのかな？
当初は玄関～勝手口間でビール輸送がありました(笑)

We're all familiar with _model_ size garden railways (They're quite popular here in the UK) but on those _everything_ is scaled down and passengers effectively sit on the roofs of the carriages, where this is an authentic narrow-gauge railway in its own right! 😇

In fact, the gauge is 381mm, the same as the Romney Railway, the world's smallest railroad, but the width is narrower to allow it to run on smaller land.

What is this? Is this just something the guy built to have a train that would go around his house? I thought for a little while it might be some kind of very niche delivery train through a neigborhood using tracks laid long ago for this purpose.
my great great grandad did this around his house and he just enjoyed riding the thing and doing circles on the tracks with it, so it might just be that

This is 15 inch gauge and use 24V DC.
