I always kept a short haircut for awhile but when I was younger I had long hair in high school but the girls loved my long hair but I got older and kept it short. With COVID 19 I was force to let my hair grow. Now I been convinced to grow my hair out again by my parents but this time, I want to take care of it better then I did when I was younger. Sometimes I do get bored with my hair and just want to grow it out or need a change. I want a more messy long hair.
Agreed, me personally I wash my hair 2-3 times a week. Some people could do 1 times a week but my hair gets greasy quite easily. So yh, it's all down to your preference and your hair type etc. All these factors affect the growth of your hair. Good luck!
I love these videos,I literally got 2 problems fixed for my hair type, those were big ones, I his head hope these barbers get tons of clients they need them
I style my hair at least once a week with matte paste & hairspray so that I don’t forget how to do it....also noticing somehow it’s starting to get more wavy and I need to tame it
First off I love your videos. 2and when you said you think you are passed the awkwardish stage I laughed because I'm at 8 months from an undercut and I'm barely getting out of it. 2 more months and I'll be able to put it up. Right now enjoy it because once you get around 5 months or so it will be close to impossible to style.
@@ManForHimself its fine for about 12 hours after shampooing and using a mousse as a pre-styler, but the scalp starts showing pretty quickly because of my greasy scalp. plus my hair naturally parts in the middle, so that doesn't help either. I of course can't shampoo every day to hide it, so was wondering what the best way could be to hide it besides just getting a haircut
druid A big no no on mousse imo. it also makes my hair look fairly thin and shows my scalp. I’d look into a thickening tonic or even original by blumann. I am currently using original in my hair before blow drying and it does wonders at thickening the hair and giving it lots of volume. Hope that helps
@@10jonchannel I appreciate the help but I blow dry after applying mousse, so the hair does get quite nice volume. it shows the scalp if you keep the wet look with it (which i hate), and don't dry the hair out. I'll still try out original by blumaan though on your recommendation, always wanna see if I can get something better
It's been 3 months since I had a haircut. I am pretty sure I am at the start of awkward stage. This is because I cannot come my hair like the way I used to with partitioning, nor can I tie them back. My only rescue here is to slick them back.
Can you make a video about how to get the Timothée Chalamet hairstyle? And maybe give us some advice for when we have thick wavy hair to get that hairstyle. Thank you!
Hey ! Can U make a video about hair line receding because of the same hair style does hairline receding caused because of brushing hair in the same side always or not please let me know
Can I manage a good longer hairstyle if I have fine hair? Even with Sea Salt Spray + Hanz De Fuko Claymation, my hair is down after a couple hours... (also doesn’t help I live in humid Florida)
I think anyone can have long hair, as long as YOURE comfortable with it. Personally, if you want more volume, I recommend cutting layers into your hair, short layers at the top and longer at the bottom makes the appearance of more volume. Couple that with hairspray and you can have the biggest hair you want! Good luck
I had a question.. you mentioned having a cleaner scalp for healthier hair but at the same time you mentioned to wash our hair 2 times in a week. How exactly to do it? (I personally don't like to use dry shampoo)
1:183:28 Wdym volume is a bad thing? Volume is a good thing and I would definitely despise to have flat hair, and I also like length gains, plus I try to get as much volume as possible.
Does anyone know if I have to cut my hair for maintenance while growing it out, 'cause I've come to notice that my hair ends start getting curly and messy... The longer it gets the messier the ends get, so I don't know pleasee and which products should I use to style it if I want to have it in control but with a natural look
Just got the Video recomended after my own Video haha. Rly cool tips my man! Nice to hear wich tips a barbers has to give! I just did a Video about the 5 biggest mistakes from my own experience growing my hair out! :) Greets Celle!
Brilliant Video 👍 definitely wouldn’t recommend washing your hair everyday, especially if you are growing it, experiment with different styles on day 2/3 of not washing it. Dry shampoo is your best friend ✌️
Yo have a front line taper and want to grow it out but the rest of the hair s is long compared to the front baby hairs should I keep growing out or just buzz all my hair and start again?
putting timothee chalamet in the thumbnail of a vid about growing hair out is like putting jake gyllenhaal in the thumbnail of a vid about growing a beard. tim is just naturally so uh.. well-endowed. in the sense of naturally volumous, textured hair, of course.

Barber: Ultimately dont touch it.
Me: slowly removing my hand from my hair... 👁👄👁
the two people who disliked shaved their hair off during lockdown!
Haha! Perhaps!
Buzzed 7 inches off last week.
Didnt dislike tho.
Lol thats me
Really needed this video... I’m looking forward to getting a taper fade with long hair at top.
Thank you!
"always wash it" is probably not the way to keep your hair healthy

Fr
I use conditioner all the time, however, I use shampoo once a week.
everyones hair and scalp is different. some can go days without washing while some have to wash everyday
Well rinsing is fine, but shampoo and conditioner is about 2-4 times per week
These are top tier tips. Thank you very much for bringing this on sir 🙏

how do you tame it? My hair are always become wavy everytime i growing my hair.
By styling it regularly even during lockdown and keeping it in place with hair products for the day so that it doesn’t lose its ‘memory’
Let your waves flowwwwww 🌊

I won't be going that long! Ha ha. A little longer for me but not long!
my scalp at the front has started showing a bit ever since I've been growing the hair out. any tips on how to deal with that?
Hey, have you tried any creams or pre-stylers? Might just help to give it a boost at the front.

Can someone explain me briefly what does maintenance cut include ?
I had a question.. you mentioned having a cleaner scalp for healthier hair but at the same time you mentioned to wash our hair 2 times in a week. How exactly to do it? (I personally don't like to use dry shampoo)
Wash your hair really good with cold water and use conditioner everyday. Shampoo 1-3 times a week

Hi Robin, what can you say about uppercut matte clay? precisely about hold. Is this worth to buy it? How long it holds? (alrdy watched brand battles)
Not one of my favourites. Some of my favourite clays (in order of preference): manforhimself.com/product-tag/clay/?fwp_sort=rating
@@ManForHimself thanks
I realized i watched all of your videos after i started searching for more haha!
Good work! More coming on Wednesday!
I have always had long hair and just had it cut short with a taper I want to grow it again but I am worried if it grows uneven what would ur advise be

If you don’t wash your hair daily, then are you rinsing your hair or wearing a shower cap?
You could do either one, and it still helps to condition it, but it can loose more protein when wet though.
Yo have a front line taper and want to grow it out but the rest of the hair s is long compared to the front baby hairs should I keep growing out or just buzz all my hair and start again?
Robin have you ever came across layrite pomade?
Oh...you are great
Mines thick and curly it’s normally a number 1 all over but because of lockdown it’s like a mushroom ! It unbearable in heat aswel heeellllppppp!!!😞
So you don’t like volume?
Robin are u gonna try cutting your hair at home?
Keep it up legend 🖒🖒🖒
Cheers Viren!
What’s the Momo product that was mentioned? The link goes to a shampoo....
yeah. did you buy it?
Will you lose hairs if you don't cut them?..
What would you recommend for a water based matte paste? Thanks
I love Shear Revival (the one in the description).
Thanks so much, will definitely look into to it! Keep up the good content💪

Robin, my guy. Add more Asian hair as a reference point

I buzzed my hair .-. Now I miss it after watching this
Thanks Covid. You made my wild hair and beard acceptable again in society.
Asking a barber how to grow your hair is like asking a butcher how to raise a cow.
They all kinda contradicting each other. Its like, who do i listen to?
