Personally stopped mine hair fall with these. Detangle your hair easily with a wide-toothed wooden comb to prevent breakage, especially when hair is wet and more prone to breakage. Apply liitleextraaa cocconion shampoo and lightweight hair oil twice a week. This is important step of my hair care routine and worked well in hair fall control.
This littlllextra cooconion shampoo is effective. It reduced my hair fall and improved hair growth. Would recommend users to try it. The only downside is the price. It should be reduced a bit to ensure more people can afford it.
I recently got this cocooonionn shampoo for hair fall control. My hair is feeling healthier and I no longer find hair everywhere. It’s sulfate-free but lathers extremely well, requiring only a small amount and it cleans your scalp thoroughly. It features a nice smell and adds a healthy shine to your hair. Highly recommended for people who are looking for hair fall control.
I'm 53 now and have had the same military cut since I was 20. Working on growing mine out now. Not sure how much of a dork I'm going to look like but I've got good hair so might as well give it a go.
I had a solid 2 years of growth and it was fricken awesome. Especially up north here where it gets down to -20 in the winter time If it gets really awkward during the awkward stage just wear a hat
I had almost the same haircut for the past 15 years, faded sides and back with alternating lenght on top. Haven't touched my hair for about 4 months now and honestly i look like i'm homeless . Since i do not use any products the hair goes wherever it wants. Past weekend i slicked it back for my mothers funeral with some Reuzel grease and i was impressed how my hair can look. I definetely need to learn and try different products because i do not want greasy looking hair for every day.
YES...my point....needing to change up your styling routine...and products. Try the Styling Balm for a less greasy look. AND....my condolences about your mom.
Thanks for the video. I’m 66 and I’ve always had great looking thick hair but always kept it short. I’m growing it out now and have been for 4 months. It’s at its awkward stage it seems. I love the look of long gray hair. Hopefully I will be proud of it .
I’m currently in month 11 of growing out my hair from a buzz cut with no trims and can definitely vouch for the beanie 😂 I still believe I’m in the awkward stage but every month is getting easier now and my super thick hair is less of a burden🤘🏼
You are supposed to trim split ends or it will travel up the follicle and your hair will grow really slow it grows alot quicker if you trim and keeps it looking fresh
So I have attempted to grow my hair out about 4 times now. First time I quit after 2 months, second time after 2 and a half months and the third time after four and a half months. Right now I am close to the 10 month mark and I start to like it more every day. It is still a bit of a pain when I wake up and my hair looks like a rats nest but I have to do less and less with it and I feel like in three to four months I will have achieved my goal length. To everyone who thinks about quitting: DON'T! Everytime I quit, no matter how bad I wanted the hair to be gone, once it was cut off, I was heartbroken and super frustrated. Just because it doesn't look the way you want it to look yet doesn't mean it can't look good.
For those growing it out, good on you! You'll love it, just make sure you stick with it. I promise the long wait is worth it. Yeah Buddy! I knew you'd grow it back out. It's one of those things if you've never done it, you'd never know how great it feels and how great it can change your look. Let mine grow out back in 2019ish, and never looked back! Curly at the bottom and hangs 4-5" below the shoulders
My hair is curly but I think the longer it gets the curls will stay at the bottom. My goal is set at 5 years of growth. I'm on month 7 of growing it out right now I'm so excited every day to see my hair after 5 years of growing it out
I am an older woman who recently got all of my very long hair cut into a mannish hairstyle, It looks totally ridiculous and now I am trying to grow it back out. I may not live long enough to ever have it really long again, but your video has helped me alot for the meantime. Thankyou!!!
Thanks for the long hair encouragement. Im 56 and would like to see more long gray hair growth stages and styles, but also see them wet and combed straight down to see how a barber trims slightly in these different stages.
For the first time in my life, at 29 years old I started growing my beard, and hair out and i really like working with different styles along the way. Lookin good, that sweep is killer.
I'm also on this journey, only 6 weeks in from having number 1 sides. I have thick hair like a toilet brush. Top is ok and styles well but my hair grows out sideways on the sides but only along the temples, looks so weird, been tempted to shorten it just there, but know it will only prolong the issue... I just have to let it grow until it is no longer like a hedgehog and starts to hang down. Hope it will look good after a few more months.
I agree with everything you said. You trim like I do to get through the awkward stage. You want to avoid looking like you have a mullet. The back of the neck will reach your shoulders before anything else and it can form a tail during the growing process. I cut that off in a straight line using a belt and clippers and a handheld mirror. It's quick and easy. I also trim in front of the ears. I keep my sideburns nice. That is the only cutting I recommend anybody do that is serious about growing it out. You can part your bangs off to the side and even split it down the middle of the top of your head for some style. I just splash a little water on anything sticking out when it's being very awkward. Eventually it gets long and heavy enough to lay down all the time and straighten out more. Bedhead doesn't exist for my anymore once it's long enough. It's the easiest hairstyle there is. You almost never have to do anything with it. My hair is wavy. Everybody will have a bit of a different experience. The awkward stage isn't all that awkward for me. I rock it at any length and enjoy reaching every mile stone. Time goes by fast. Before you know it you've already grown it for a year and beyond. Just keep putting more time behind you and don't think about the hair much at all. Just worry about getting through each day. Don't obsess about the hair and you will get there.
THANKS, I needed this video because I’m in the “awkward phase” of my long-hair journey. Every morning, I wake up to an unkempt and bunched up head of hair. I call it the Harry Styles look. I was thinking of going back to my regular short-hair, but you’ve convinced me that I’ve got to get over the “awkward phase” before I see results. I don’t want to grow my hair so long that I look like Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead). Instead, I saw a TV commercial with Doug Flutie and I like his medium long hairstyle which is somewhat similar to yours (but a little shorter).
I grew my hair long past my shoulders a few years ago and cut it about 1 year ago, I’m keen to grow my hair back out cause having short hair is just so damn boring, you just have way more options with longer hair
Great vid!!! I hate this awkward phase. I went to get it all cut off last week, but my stylist told me I had a good grow going and not to cut it. I still don't like it but I'm in for the win!
This is an example of the perfect guy for the job. Nice work! I am 26 years old and I am growing out my hair, keeping you and your videos in mind. Thanks for the tips.
Hey Greg I really hope you’re growing your hair back out You’re the main reason why I started growing my hair out I’m currently two years in my journey and I’m not certain on how long I would like to get my hair
I am 59 years, a Veteran Brigadier and I am motivated enough after this clip to grow my hair , finally and see how it works out.. Thanks.. WONDERFUL CONTENT.

Thank you so much for this video. My husband is growing his hair out and is getting frustrated with his awkward stage. Your video will help me, help him!
I'm about 6 months into growing my hair for the first time ever at 36. My hair grows thick and relatively quickly. My biggest problem is work. I work industrial maintenance, and it can be quite a dirty job. I try to shampoo about every 4th day, but on many occasions, that's simply not an option. I used to use typical Pert shampoo and have found it really dries my hair out. Recently switched to using my wife's shampoo, as she's a "hair enthusiast" and while much better, I still get some of the dryness. So, I'm still searching for the perfect balance of removing grit, welding dust, and occasional grease out of my hair without turing it into a tumbleweed. As far as growing it out, my best advice, is slick it back with pomade or cream. It keeps it out of your face, and allows you to still keep a pretty good look while you grow it.
WOW! I didn't know that Greg are growing his hair from 7 months even I follow him on instagram! I could never thought that he will grow his hair again like 2020! but I am REALLY HAPPY with his decision! I may consider growing it again since he flash me up with my long hair before 2 years! I miss the long hair even sometimes not! thank you greg you are REAL INSPIRATIONN for so many guys and dudes out there! can't wait for another legend video from him!
Fantastic advice. I had my last short haircut in late November and I’m growing it out again - I never want to have it short from now on. Currently in the awkward phase but it’s cold out so I can wear a beanie. Then I’ll switch to a cap. By autumn, it will be long and not awkward!
Thanks Greg, I’m about to fly home and I’ve been growing out my hair for four months and was starting to get worried if I should cut my hair but this video was a nice pep to keep going and stop over thinking about it.
I think I have hair like yours. What I used to hate about it were the "puffy" sides, how it doesn't simply grow down or back, but instead it grows to the sides.(ON the right it grows to the right before growing back, on the left it grows to the left before it grows to the back.)
It's easy to skip through the awkward stage by growing long hair by having growing hair from a buzz cut (i.e. length of hair is same on every part of your head) seems to easily skip the awkward phase. Just some slight trims every few months to get rid of split ends and you should be fine. Once the back hair looks long, you can start trimming the back and stop trimming the top and front hair until it catches up with the back hair and it will blend in just fine.
I actually saw your longer look from a more recent video and it ages you ten to twenty years. What you are calling your awkward phase in this video is stunning, beautifully shaped, and could even be iconic, like it should be named after you...
Any tips for maintaining hair when you're a motorcycle rider? Cuz wearing a helmet almost everyday really changes the way the hair looks and feels. And I'm referring to the awkward stage itself. Would using a product potentially damage my hair if I use it almost everyday after the ride?
I had long hair,I mean really long where I could reach behind me and tug the bottom of it, from about 14/15 until I was in my late 20s. Had to cut it for a management job. Have wanted to grow it back for about ten years but have very gray/white hair. Always chicken out in fear of looking like an old wizard like Sauron lol.
Been growing my hair since August of 2020. My immediate goal is to see how it looks after 2 full years of growth as I still would like a few more inches of length. What tips do you have for styling long hair as I am a lost on how to wear it. I have a very straight and thin hair texture
Damn I want his awkward phase and his tone frame.. Mine looked HORRIBLE at 6 months And I stupidly went to one of those Asian barbers and asked to just trim off a little cuz I want to grow it out. He didn't understand and cut maybe an inch of all the sides.. I'm in month 2 now since then and I'm in a totally different second awkward stage... Probably will be another month till it looks good again..FML...🤦 GO TO A SALON FOLKS.
5 years ago I had my hair halfway down my back. I buzzed myself because it had become so tangled the shop didn't want to even try untangling. I want to grow it back to that length, but this time with a washing and conditioning regimen, which I did not do the last time.
my awkward phase is quite awkward, from left center to right my hair is longer but on the left side, it was from about an inch and a half to 2 and a half, and still super spike no matter what I did while the rest of my hair was starting to lay flat on its own
Growing up my punishment from dad was always cutting my hair. I’ve always liked longer hair for me. I’ve definitely rocked so barber shop cuts and look polished that way, but just something about long hair
I'm at month 7 already of growing my hair and I have curly hair. Im looking for that long hair like a "Jason Momoa" kinda hair style. It's not easy but 5 years is a good goal I have set
I am 6'5" 350 lbs. and have thick kinda wavy hair. I've always done short short fades. Currently at my eyes when I stretch it out in the front but the sides are alot shorter. Should I cut my hair to the same length and do you have any hair style ideas for someone my size?
Currently growing my hair out, one last attempt. My length is very similar and I have no clue on how to style it. When I slick it back when I towel dried my hair it naturally falls a bit like in the video, maybe I should just apply some product and keep rocking that for the next 2 months or so
Yep, i started to grow my hair long just at my early 40s. At the moment they are a bit awkward again since the barber went too far when i wanted just a bit cut.....it was more 2-3 inch less.....doh´. I was close to the shoulders.....now i will grow it much further, togther with a full beard. I think i am lucky with hair genetic. Beard is so just OK....a bit thin at the cheeks but it fills in after some weeks but my hair is still very dense and full and even not much gray to see there and it gets nice natural waves and curls the longer they grow so i want to grow it as long as i can until it is too late. My goal is at least to the middle of the chest. For my beard i might try it for 6 months....not sure yet. Like i said the beard is OK and also still no grey (it is dark blonde with some brighter blonde and a bit of copper) but not sure about that yet. I would anytime give up all my beard hairs if i could let them grow on my head some years longer. But when i look at the men in our family i might get luck here until i reach my 70s.....if i make it this far. I really wished i had grown my hair long already 20 years ago. But better late then never. Funny that i experienced that most women love the longer wavy hair and hate the beard, most men tells me the opposite to let the beard grow and cut my hair.....sorry i would agree with the women here and not only because my wife says the same (but of course that counts a lot for me since after over 20 years her opinion weights for me a lot and she said to me grow your hair 2 years ago).
I'm 60 and growing my hair out and all I think about is cutting it all off....I wish permed mullets were back in style ...lol...at least I'm not bald like my younger brothers...thanks for the advice....peace out!
After my secondary school, I started growing out my hair at 17yo. From 17-20 years old, that was the longest hair length I've ever had; till mid back. That was around 2007-2010, when long hair was not as trendy as it is now. I sport it because I was into heavy metal lol. Now into my early-mid 30's in a job setting that doesn't ban long hair, I'm growing it out again though it's now in this awkward phase.. 🤣
I have a friend that hasn't had a haircut since 2012, for his sister's wedding 10 years ago, I am on my 10 month without a haircut now, I don't know if I could go 10 years though, I have been wanting to grow my hair long since the early 90's, when I was in my teens, now I just choose not to go to a hairdresser because every time I would go get a haircut, I would always leave disappointed because alot of them are too sloppy and half ass and don't give haircuts very good, that and I hate the modern style haircuts also, attempting to grow the hair out again now
I have Maui hair (Moana) and the biggest mistake I did was getting an undercut now I’m growing it out. My hair grow fast too about like a full inch a month specially the sides.
Excuse me I want to ask you a question ; I'm also growing my hair out, and it has been 6 months since last time I cut my hair. I started wondering what happens if I don't trim my hair every month? Does it negatively affect my hair?
As a Lesbian who has had variations of a pixie or undercut or even straight up buzzed since middle school, I am now growing out my hair. I have very coarse very dense wavy curly hair and the grow out stage is HELL for me. I’ve tried a few times and kept giving up out of frustration. I don’t have an end goal, other than wanting to get to know my hair. Also, you are the most suave man I’ve ever seen in my life
Help!! I love the leave in conditioner that you recommend but my hair is very fine. No matter how lightly I spray it, it builds up and weighs my hair down. Any suggestions?
how to clean around ears ( while growing hair ) without affecting my sides as i want my sides longer and covering my ears . How to achieve this goal at the time that i should clean around my ears from time to time ? any advice ?
I'm growing out my hair... So annoying, gets into eyes all the time! I just want to shave it all, but I feel this is my last chance to have long hair..
When I was in high school (Grad of 09) I had like medium long hair like shoulder length hair, and the front of my hair was almost at eye level (or kinda was), I have been saving my head since 2014 but now I just want to grow my high school hair back. I haven’t shaved my hair since February of this year(2024) same with facial hair shaving, does anybody have tips for me? I shower pretty much every evening(or give or take morning) I do not have conditioner, but I do have shampoo. But I’m trying to limit my showering to Friday through Sunday(TRYING), if anybody has tips for me I’d appreciate it. Right now my back of the hair is almost at shoulder length or 3/4 of a way there but not exactly but it is covering up my back neck, but the front of my hair is not at eye level yet, so not exactly rocker hair, but more of….. well it’s kinda hard to explain, but if anybody has tips for me, that would be great

But then the sideburns grow out too quick and it looks gross. I prefer to keep the back and sides short and giving the top a 6 inch head start.
@@toddchavez5671 Then my suggestion is not for you.
I actually saw your longer look from a more recent video and it ages you ten to twenty years. What you are calling your awkward phase in this video is stunning, beautifully shaped, and could even be iconic, like it should be named after you...
I'm growing mine out too. I keep getting it short again on one side as it's very awkward lol
Growing mine out now. Going for roughly shoulder length. Not sure I have the face for it, but I’m gonna stick it out and see.
This guy is 100% right … every single thing.
I don't think it's the first thing that crosses most people's minds, but old wizard sounds awesome
His awkward phase is exactly what I wanted lol
Greg, you look great with long hair. Let it grow!!!
Thank you! This is what i need now!👍
5 years ago I had my hair halfway down my back. I buzzed myself because it had become so tangled the shop didn't want to even try untangling. I want to grow it back to that length, but this time with a washing and conditioning regimen, which I did not do the last time.
Yes totally agree just forget about it let it go. Before you know it will be long and then you can cut the style you want
Thanks for the inspo!
my awkward phase is quite awkward, from left center to right my hair is longer but on the left side, it was from about an inch and a half to 2 and a half, and still super spike no matter what I did while the rest of my hair was starting to lay flat on its own
I am 50. I am growing my hair. In 3-4 months, it will look exactly like yours.
Damn. I wish I could look as cool and this salt and pepper bastard during my “awkward” phase lol. Looks great
I am 6'5" 350 lbs. and have thick kinda wavy hair. I've always done short short fades. Currently at my eyes when I stretch it out in the front but the sides are alot shorter. Should I cut my hair to the same length and do you have any hair style ideas for someone my size?
grew my hair out from late 2019 to July 2022 ended up cutting it and plan on regrowing it out again
Most handsome man at his age 😮
Ideal old man ❤❤ from India
I do like the style you have going. I’d be happy with that but I’m probably 4-6 months away from
I'm 60 and growing my hair out and all I think about is cutting it all off....I wish permed mullets were back in style ...lol...at least I'm not bald like my younger brothers...thanks for the advice....peace out!
I don't think it looks awkward at all. I think it looks great this length!
As a straight man, I can't take my eyes off of his eyes. So much twinkle it's mesmerizing...
I have a friend that hasn't had a haircut since 2012, for his sister's wedding 10 years ago, I am on my 10 month without a haircut now, I don't know if I could go 10 years though, I have been wanting to grow my hair long since the early 90's, when I was in my teens, now I just choose not to go to a hairdresser because every time I would go get a haircut, I would always leave disappointed because alot of them are too sloppy and half ass and don't give haircuts very good, that and I hate the modern style haircuts also, attempting to grow the hair out again now
I tried growing out my hair but it got really bushy/curly (because I have curly hair) and looked awful
thick curly hair is the GOAT! Keep growing it man
Really, really, helpful. Needed that, thank you. Trying to grow mine but it’s oh so slow. Now where’s my hat!
I have Maui hair (Moana) and the biggest mistake I did was getting an undercut now I’m growing it out. My hair grow fast too about like a full inch a month specially the sides.
Trying to grow it out like Matthew mccohoney and Bradley Cooper. Have never done that. What product should I use
i had hair like him but i got a FOUL cut yesterday and i’m desperate to get back 😭😭
Love ❤️ it longer, Greg!
I'm greying up, is grey hair a lighter? Am I just imagining it's harder to use product on?
Growing my hair out for the first time ever. Doing it along with a yeard.
I love your hair styles
That haircut is called "the homeless"
Watch out world
Excuse me I want to ask you a question ;
I'm also growing my hair out, and it has been 6 months since last time I cut my hair. I started wondering what happens if I don't trim my hair every month? Does it negatively affect my hair?
What constitutes an awkward phase. What length.
Would you make a video on how to grow thicker sideburn. Because I didn't get a thick sideburn. I have patchy hair on the sideburn. 🥺🥺
Men's help. Love it. Thanks for sharing
Great video man! I just passed the one year mark
I am growing my hair and I recently got a trim and I hate the way it looks. I think he cut too much off around the ears and now it looks weird.
Blessing and a curse.. lol. Shadappppp 😂 you’re rocking it and know it
Hate that awkward phase. Just breaking out of it now after 10 months
Thanks for the advice ❤
Yay! Greg is going Zeus again!! 🥰🥰
Any suggestions?
you are blessed with great hairs sir
how to clean around ears ( while growing hair ) without affecting my sides as i want my sides longer and covering my ears .
How to achieve this goal at the time that i should clean around my ears from time to time ?
any advice ?
11 months in. Ain't quitting till I make it ✊
I'm growing out my hair... So annoying, gets into eyes all the time! I just want to shave it all, but I feel this is my last chance to have long hair..
Really helpful! Thank you :)
what are good hair products for gray hair... would like to try the salt spray, and what is a good product for leave on conditioner.... thx
Which styling balm you using?
Right now my back of the hair is almost at shoulder length or 3/4 of a way there but not exactly but it is covering up my back neck, but the front of my hair is not at eye level yet, so not exactly rocker hair, but more of….. well it’s kinda hard to explain, but if anybody has tips for me, that would be great
Keep your hair long it looks good 👍
this dude has majestic hair
Perfect! Thanks!
