I have been thinking about cutting cable and I am seriously thinking of going Roku.... Could you please do a video on Sling? My family watches a lot of movies and tv shows. I have a 9 year old who loves Teen Nick. So anyways I am just trying to figure out if I go this rout and I feel I am going to... What is the best Live TV app to get! Thank you for all of your help. Keep up the amazing job!

What if you're using a receiver for the audio portion? Normally all of the devices being used would be plugged into the HDMI INPUTs on the receiver. Then one HDMI cable would be output to the TV. Would I still be able to get the audio from the receiver if all of the devices are plugged into the 4port unit?

How do you power this? Did you just plug the USB cable into a USB port on the back of the TV?

I've got a projection tv system. A couple years ago I got a newer blueray player that made it necessary for me to run a hdmi cable from a kinivo to the back of the projector that enabled me to watch and hear blueray with my current system. Question is can I put a roku stick in the kinivo and and access watch and hear roku channels.

I purchased the HDMI Switcher, but it wasn't compatible with the fire stick, the Amazon tech dude told me to only purchase a AV Receiver 2.2 adapter. $60.00 :( I haven't purchased it yet..

ROKU is now a public company trading on the Stock market....putting out SOME technical videos on ROKU would drive more viewers to your website...Eg....How can I build my own ROKU Channel...this would be a very important video for lets say a country that wants to ditch their broadcast system and move everything to streaming ..could ROKU do this with their Developer Kit software...etc....Also talk about the different versions of the ROKU operating System and what's NEW in every version, etc....Good job...

I tried an HDMI switch for my direct tv box and a fire stick. The switch was only picking up my Direct tv box and nothing on the fire stick? I tried everything with the switch and tv but nothing.

I'd like to see you hook that switch up to a fire stick and see if it works.

My tv has to RECOGNIZE each input device. If you want to change an input...via switch or straight hdmi ..you have to go through a setup EVERY time.

Not clear on the output. I know we have HDMI inputs but does it have a BNC output to be able to attach to a TV antenna composite A/V input for TV viewing that can be used with an F-connector adapter that I can get? Reason why is because I have an HDMI output on the back of my VCR/DVD player and want to feed it into the input of the VCR/DVD antenna input to be able to record and use it's output for the TV like the old days of VCR's

The problem might be, that with a switch cable, there is not enough power for the devices to show online. So if you get a switch which has its own power supply, there should be enough power to make the whole thing run. At least this is what several people suggested on UA-cam before. Maybe this helps you :)
