I found the spring was backward, so I fixed it and it forced my knee straight and back into alignment. Also super powered going up the stairs. Helped greatly.

My brother has knee problems and when he saw the advertise on Facebook he got so exited that he bought 3 pairs, long story short it took almost 2 months to get them and when he finally got them he was so disappointed the stupid thing where so flimsy and they were hurting the back of his knee after a day of using it and looks like they making him feel worse. He returned them after 2 or 3 days of using them.

My husband received his pair yesterday. He's been practically crippled with pain in his knees and struggles terribly with our stairs. I can tell you with 100% certainty that they are total rubbish! The spring bit is so stiff that you cannot bend your legs with these things on. He put them on properly. I'm a retired nurse and put them on to test for myself as I did not want him to give up so easily. I don't even know how the people in the videos can walk as they have no give whatsoever. So please don't waste your money. They are ripping off thousands, if not millions, of people and I'm sure they will get away with it and come out filthy rich without helping even one person. Anyone saying they work is flat out lying.

@@angelcross1382 a few common mistakes are being made such as attempting to use upside down, not positioning the springs flush with the crease of the knee or removing/replacing the screw prior to donning. No worries 😉 we’re all too ready to dis something without giving it due attention…
@@debradeats5819 Thank you for your reply, Debra. I took great care in following the instructions explicitly. They were not upside down. I worked with the tension, the positioning of the springs, etc. Tried all the things you've mentioned many times to no avail. So thus far, I shall stand by my initial response. It's a pity but the truth is, perhaps they are simply rubbish after all. I'm glad yours happen to work. It seems the most of us did not have your good fortune.

hamstrings. The gap you were feeling will disappear! You had no leverage and that is why it wasn't bending properly.
I checked another video of these knee pads. Your right he put them on upside down. Color tabs go on top lol
Looking at them when he took them out of the box they appear equal and symmetrical on both ends. 1:56 There is no top or bottom, like a tongue depressor.
They didn't include instructions so it's the manufacturers own fault. Tue review still stands.

The knee brace I ordered 5 days ago arrived today. I usually check before paying. Upon receiving, as you said it does come in a box with no instructions. The brace did not have the sowned patch I saw in the advertisement. The materials and make looked like it came from a mediocre assembly line. It had a loose fit which would be displaced when walking. Only tried the product and walk a fews steps, however, it was not as comfortable to wear. One positive advantage is that it is easier to stand up when seated. Other than that, could not find anymore usage to help with my knee problem.
I think the long steel bolt is hindering more flexible movement. I got mine today which was for my mom who has knee probs, i tried it on & didnot feel any support, it was so stiff.

hi hi I have kissing lesions of the patella which causes my patellas to not be in the right spot, it affects my tendons and my ligaments and gives pain in my knees and hips when I do too much walking or running and active things, I didn't get the same brand mine doesn't have the logo or anything, but so far mine have worked well and given me loads of support, I guess it just depends on what your knee pain is coming from as there are different types of knee supports, just letting you know! it does work for some people but I loved the video

i think its for bending and lifting weights coz mine works fine.I wear mine for work not for walking,cycling,sports etch.It helps when i lift weights especially i have a knee injury!
I've watch several of these videos and was skeptical of the product. In fairness, wouldn't it be a better review to actually have someone with knee issues doing to review? Does it make sense to have someone with no issues trying to review product.
thats the first thing that pop into mind after watching these videos ... but they did say it would help you run faster and lift weights better and all that .. so that would mean it really wouldn't matter if the persons had knee problems or not ..... idk .. what do you all think

You don't have to have to have knee problems to be able to tell if the springs actually add support and strength to your knee bend movements.

Do you have chronic knee pain or arthritis? If not, how can you gauge the effect on knee pain. If you have healthy knees and feel no effect, that does not answer the question of the difference it would make on someone who has pain and mobility issues.
It doesn't matter if you have knee pain the point of these are its a "powered knee" via the springs that absorb and release energy and shock load " see physics"

By the time they start bending tour already practically on your heels.
Which as is is not as advertised.
And all these seem to be doing is digging the ridged edges into my thigh and calves.
These SHOULD work but need a bit of redesigning to work.

I think the extra springs are extra. Don't remove any spring unless spring breaks.

Its a powered knee the brace absorbes and releases energy and shocknload .

You would FEEL the resistance with or without pain.
Like..... if i a weak old lady tried to use the exercise machine at the gym thats got 30 pounds on it and i used it.
I would FEEl the same 30 pounds regardless if i can lift 300 or not.
The resistance and pressure is the same if the brace doesn't bend properly and where it needs to it wont have the advertised effect.
I also have a pair of these although a different brand.
And tried them upside down and the othwr way since it doesn't say.
Neither way fit probably while they fit snug there is a gap and it doesn't bend until you practically sitting on your heels.
And due to the weird gap it doesn't recoil( power support) like it says.
The idea itself works but i think the sizing needs to be custom fit i dont think a one size fits all is applicable here
I hoped you'd try them on for longer than a few minutes to give a better review.

I’m 11 years old and I have a soccer game tomorrow and I have a knee pain and I wanted to know if it worked to I can pass by the store before the game and get it ( btw I only have pain on my right knee.
HEY!!! DingBat... How about actually testing it. Try something simple like walking up a long flight of stairs till your knees tire out. Then... Do it again with the power leg support. To actually see if it helps with the said activity.
DrWorthit had them on backward and never notice. The colored bands support to be on top of the back of the hamstrings.

@@nemedc6392 Go back and watch the video again. The animated video by the company he shows has the color band at the top of each leg. He put it on upside down! It doesn't function properly upside down that that is why it didn't feel properly to him. You can see this in the company's commercials that the color band is on the top this is why he talking about that strange gap behind the knee. Other individuals trying to demonstrate this device have done the same thing. The color bar across the device has to be on top (hamstring) not the calf. Please check it again and look for that color band when he puts it on. The color band is on the calf!

@@nemedc6392 yes, I caught but didn't change it. Just writing to fast and didn't correct it ...that was me being lazy. I decided to give it a try and did order on. I am a former athlete and am much older and have hip and knee issues. I have used good knee braces before but I look at this as helping me to get off the floor better and possibly walk better. So, I thought I would give it a try. I will be receiving it in a few days. I am hoping it will work well. I use to play racquetball on the time but can't because of a hip replacement but I may be able to get back into tennis because I will not need to squat for shots like in racquetball compared to tennis.

I have bought one of this here in Japan and it arrived today! I didn't test it already but I've noticed the pads have correct side to wear. One side is 12,5cm and the other 10,5cm and the seller recommend to use the longer side up instead of what you did on your testing!
I intend to test it tomorrow and then give you my feedback! Therefore my first impression of the product did not correspond to my previous expectations according what I saw on the Facebook viral trendings!

You are correct! I bought this 3yrs ago before the Pandemic! I bought it when I hurt my knees lifting and carrying heavy plants (work in nursery) it helped me a lot. Now, I am 70 and still working and I am happy with it. If I didn’t have this I probably would have to use a cane. This power knee brace has helped me a lot. Everything takes time, just be patient.

I agree! I tried it myself and no way I can walk on this. It will make you walk like a robot. You'll endup walking without bending your knees to avoid top and bottom edge putting pressure on your legs. The springs are too tough...

I have serious osteoarthritis in both knees (sometimes unable to even load bear) so have been looking for a review on these so thanks for posting. Unfortunately, as one of the other commentators pointed out you appear to have put them on upside down. If you could find someone with arthritic knees to test them and put them on right side up you would be doing a great public service.

on my "bad days", it's incredibly painful to just lay on my bed. getting up and walking to another room is torture.

I take serious meds for pain (which I'm NOW only taking about ¼ of the dosage I was prescribed.
about 2 yrs ago, I insisted to my Dr that I begin a reduction of these Rx's. Success, so far.

So any good stuff to ease knee pain? The thing I do to ease the pain is to have an appointment with my local massage parlor, every God damn week.
