Yes, but im more disapointed in the fact that people don't seem know the devil very well, Even Anton Chirgurh played a better villian, and he seemed to me as more of a devil.

I saw this movie when I was 10 yrs old. I've been hooked on the 'dark side' ever since. The laugh of Darkness is also featured in a Megadeth song.....'Sweating Bullets'. This will forever be my most favorite & beloved movie.

1990 - 2 great performances by the same actor, the immortal Tim Curry. 1) Stephen King's IT, I mean, c'mon....PENNYWISE!!! 2) FOX Kid's Network presents: PETER PAN AND THE PIRATES. An Emmy winning performance by Curry portraying the voice of Captain James Hook for 45 out of 65 episodes! No wonder he developed laryngitis by the time Warner Brothers cast him to be the Joker on BTAS! 🇵🇷🇺🇸😎

I can never understand when the villian grabs the hero, they always just throw them away and lose an advantageous position when they can simply just choke them, crush their skull, immobilize them, etc.
Many years ago I met a man by the name of michael dougherty. Pecular thing was that when I complained to him about his antagonist behavior towards my person, the boy tone of expression in his being was in the same manner as this devil character in this move. When he referred to me as boy. Now that's not beyond believable, however it is certainly a bazaar and strange occurrence.

I feel that all of Tim Curry's lines as Darkness/Devil are ahead of their time. it's like he knew more that he was letting on.
A glaring omission in most franchises. The jedi would claim there was "balance" in the force when they were the only ones in control.
