@@UpTheCreek496 That’s great you’re still bringing planes back to like! Still in Cody, that’s cool. We were just in Great Falls for a week. Send me a message with your phone number
I really like the Gennipod Wind Generator idea. I didn't realize there was something so compact and light that could supply 4 amps at 12 Volts at 75 mph.
Dennis, any further info on when you can get your Air Worthiness inspection? After the DAR or FAA gives you your documentation, you can get in the plane and go flying. See you later. N6395T
When you do a youtube video, instead of showing your face for the majority of the first ten minutes, you might get better interest if you'd show the plane; just a suggestion.

If you knew anything about my channel you would know that I can’t fly it yet…I’m waiting for my inspection from the DAR. What’s your resume? Have you built and flown many home builds, do you know the process? Are you an expert flight instructor? Just trying to gauge from what place you are speaking. Taxing is all I can do right now and I choose to learn stuff rather than just let the plane sit. What I’m doing is the opposite of TIMID.
I said it to you before Dennis. The Lord has a blessing waiting for you! Let that plane be the blessing it is meant to be. God’s got this! Go fly when you are ready…..after the inspection. Blessings my brother!
I have several hundred hours of flight time. Yes ive built several homebuilts including Avid, Kitfox, Rans S7. S6S, and many more. Yes i do know what im talking about. you do NOT have the RIGHT STUFF. Everything you do is tentative. Oh ya, Im also a flight Instructor and my specialty is Bush Flying. Dont ever try to fly it. you'll kill yourself..@@DTMinimax
Looking good Dennis, get that inspection done and go fly!! 😊
That’s right, almost there!
Good to build confidence and not do too much while you learn your aircraft, especially as you have time, waiting for the inspection.
I never knew it was so hard not to fly!
Just a little more throttle and I’m up there!
Looking good Dennis. I now have my fuselage complete. I will have to wait for spring weather to start building the wings.
That’s great, that was probably the most fun to build for me. Just really enjoyed seeing it build in strength as you go along.
Congrats Dennis, and thanks again for sharing.
For sure Michael!
Great job Dennis!! Ya made it further than i did with my Mitchell wing, congratulations !!!
Hey Mike!
And this is my second one since we were building together. Are you flying anything?
@DTMinimax Not flying anything, however I am always looking. I'm doing IA work here in Cody Wy.

Good looking Bird!
Thanks…The Hurricane is my favorite
Dennis are you going to fly it before Christmas 😢 RiP
Hey Robert!
Inspection coming this weekend!
is that a half VW ?
It is Zach, 45hp

I didn’t either until I started looking for a solution. It’s the same weight as upsizing my battery would be.

My paperwork is submitted so it should be any time now
surely it wouldn't be that difficult to rig up an alternator or a motorcycle charging system.
Kubota makes a nice small unit for their small tractors. I believe John Deere uses the same alternator.
Where would you drive that off of? Can it be driven off the front end? The 1/2vw has nothing on the back end to drive from.
Good question. I am not sure. I remember somebody about 10 years ago put it on their half vw. But I can’t say if it was a full case or not.
@@DTMinimax cars drive water pump alternator power steering off the front end. Would have to make a mount and use a belt.
