I love watching your videos! They are always informative and helpful. It makes working on wedding dresses less intimidating after watching your skillful and helpful tips and techniques! I have a question regarding silk. Most of the gowns need some kind of steaming when completed- however I am a little wary about steaming silk since the labels don't recommend steaming due to water spotting. But you didn't seem to have that issue with your demo fabrics. Do you have a video or maybe one up and coming regarding tips on steaming delicate fabrics when you complete your dress?
I absolutely need to do one that clarifies the use of steam with silk. Many silks can only be dry pressed. It will take some fancy video producing skills for me to be able to demonstrate the differences in techniques & their results. Thank goodness I have a better camera now. Good plans for 2019!! Thank you for watching! :)
Bridal Sewing Techniques thanks so much I’ll go have a look! I was wondering if you have come across any plus sized bridal alterations that you have to tackle differently than say for a smaller person?
The most common problem is addressed in my video about adding boning to a bodice. Manufacturers quite often do not adequately bone a plus sized gown. It is sooo frustrating! We need lots of 1/2 in sticks in there for support, not just a couple 1/4" sticks.
I love a good taylors clapper.

Love as usual!! Thanks for sharing!! Is your table padded?
Thanks! :) This is my ironing table. Yes it is! :) I just added it to my product list. It is very sturdy.
