GM connected won't ever be a thing because that takes players from HUT and EASHL (where the money is) and they won't add Roster Sharing because the we wouldn't have to buy this game every year just to get the updated rosters.

I find it amazing how blind some of these developers are to what fans actually want, i just dont understand why its so hard for companies like ea to make the right decisions and actually listen to what the fans want
Developers have absolutely no say in what content is made, that goes to the clients (higher ups). They create what they’re told to create and if they don’t like it, they get replaced. I gotta admit, this blew me away. As a big EASHL player this hit every mark for me. Throughly impressed by all the new features. I was scared custom builds was going back to nhl 14 era where there was no balancing to the classes but it looks like they have done a great job of that this time around. Great job!

I really like how seamless the party functionality will be but I hate that there’s no cross-play functionality. I have a PS5 but most of my friends still have PS4. It’s like they fixed part of the problem but didn’t address a big part of it yet.

It’s pretty small thing but the way the players and goalies hold their sticks is really weird. They’re supposed to hold the knob in their upper hands, not the shaft. It gives the game an annoying mobile game look

I gotta say as somebody who only plays CHEL and nothing else, these are very positive changes. I get the fans are frustrated and want to be negative but you can't deny that these changes are very good. I can see with this system you guys will have more control with being able to balance builds. The only thing that worries me is there's rumors sprouting up about a potential cash shop to buy these abilities which I am not a fan of. I'm a capitalist as well so I completely understand and agree with microtransactions but tastefully. I think if you guys are going to microtransaction CHEL make sick cellys, clothing, intros and even club assets like stadiums in the cash shop, please don't sell attributes.

My only fear was last time we had a console update we lost so many features that took years to come back. This looks like we haven’t lost too much so far. The only feature I would like is downloadable public rosters.
Every penalty in 3v3 clubs should not be a penalty shot. It's more then frustrating when you have to watch the AI run into the goalie when you could've had a power play to work with. I know it's not a big deal for most but either the AI should be a little better or just change it.
Already now passes sometimes pass through 3-4 defenders, and the sniper throws the puck when the goalkeeper's position is absolutely correct. Now superpowers will be added to this, for example, an absolutely accurate pass that is almost impossible to intercept, a powerful and accurate throw that a wara can hardly take. What can I say, GOOD MEN! Instead of a hockey simulator, we have had an arcade game for a long time. It looks like everything is being done for the most massive buyer - teenagers. In the next version, instead of the puck, there will be a funny frog that will croak when it hits the goal?
I agree with you but I think the problems you mentioned are because they try to make the game "realistic". No matter how hard they try it won't be 100 percent realistic and lead to quirks. I think a more arcadey game would be more fun because they could tighten the game up and passing through 6 people wouldn't be a thing

Looks better, but when it comes to rewards it’s still a big L. When I play world of chel, I just play clubs, and the fact that you can’t play 3v3 or 6v6 with your outdoor gear that you unlock makes the hockey bags pointless. Why can’t my club wear outdoor home or away colours?

Pure facts - these two are the most requested modes/options to be added outside of gameplay improvements.
Their producer in a interview said that roster sharing is on their mind heavily so probably nhl 23 or 24 but i think its confirmed its not nhl 22

They're not blind. They're intentionally ignoring it because corporate is greedy and the developers are lazy and incompetent
Developers have absolutely no say in what content is made, that goes to the clients (higher ups). They create what they’re told to create and if they don’t like it, they get replaced. Don’t shame developers who might be fighting for the fans but no one is listening to.

I gotta admit, this blew me away. As a big EASHL player this hit every mark for me. Throughly impressed by all the new features. I was scared custom builds was going back to nhl 14 era where there was no balancing to the classes but it looks like they have done a great job of that this time around. Great job!
It’s kinda disappointing that EA has set the bar so low that a decent menu is enough to blow someone away

We need a logo builder. The nhl, echl and 30 pre-made custom logos just aren’t enough

If 22 has the same gameplay as 21 and the only thing you guys fixed was the face animation and brighter ice, then im actually speechless. Its around 2 weeks now until 22, and we have seen around 20 sec of the gameplay and it looked like NHL09. Don't u fucking understand ea, this is why we hate you? I really like how seamless the party functionality will be but I hate that there’s no cross-play functionality. I have a PS5 but most of my friends still have PS4. It’s like they fixed part of the problem but didn’t address a big part of it yet.

It’s pretty small thing but the way the players and goalies hold their sticks is really weird. They’re supposed to hold the knob in their upper hands, not the shaft. It gives the game an annoying mobile game look

I gotta say as somebody who only plays CHEL and nothing else, these are very positive changes. I get the fans are frustrated and want to be negative but you can't deny that these changes are very good. I can see with this system you guys will have more control with being able to balance builds. The only thing that worries me is there's rumors sprouting up about a potential cash shop to buy these abilities which I am not a fan of. I'm a capitalist as well so I completely understand and agree with microtransactions but tastefully. I think if you guys are going to microtransaction CHEL make sick cellys, clothing, intros and even club assets like stadiums in the cash shop, please don't sell attributes.

My only fear was last time we had a console update we lost so many features that took years to come back. This looks like we haven’t lost too much so far. The only feature I would like is downloadable public rosters.
I think the big explanation for that is the PS3 jump to PS4(or 360 to XB1) was a way bigger jump then PS4 to PS5(or XB1 to whatever XBX)

Every penalty in 3v3 clubs should not be a penalty shot. It's more then frustrating when you have to watch the AI run into the goalie when you could've had a power play to work with. I know it's not a big deal for most but either the AI should be a little better or just change it.
Already now passes sometimes pass through 3-4 defenders, and the sniper throws the puck when the goalkeeper's position is absolutely correct. Now superpowers will be added to this, for example, an absolutely accurate pass that is almost impossible to intercept, a powerful and accurate throw that a wara can hardly take. What can I say, GOOD MEN! Instead of a hockey simulator, we have had an arcade game for a long time. It looks like everything is being done for the most massive buyer - teenagers. In the next version, instead of the puck, there will be a funny frog that will croak when it hits the goal?
I agree with you but I think the problems you mentioned are because they try to make the game "realistic". No matter how hard they try it won't be 100 percent realistic and lead to quirks. I think a more arcadey game would be more fun because they could tighten the game up and passing through 6 people wouldn't be a thing

Looks better, but when it comes to rewards it’s still a big L. When I play world of chel, I just play clubs, and the fact that you can’t play 3v3 or 6v6 with your outdoor gear that you unlock makes the hockey bags pointless. Why can’t my club wear outdoor home or away colours?
