Well, we want more a more accurate simulation from the game that touts itself as a hockey simulation. The chemistry system, which is arguably the most most significant determiner of success in hockey, is completely broken.
if it's about atmosphere then they need to redo the refs, the crowd, the bench, the coaches even the trainers add new cut scenes for them if its about atmosphere
The new skating looks promising. Probably my biggest gripe with 24 was not really being able to walk the line or pivot along the boards very effectively. This should fix both those issues. And the AI improvements were needed lol
the ai doesnt really look to different tho, some clips in here they’re still clueless, and they didnt say a thing about goalie improvement which really worries me
My biggest gotta be the Team A.I running into you when you rush the pick up mf’s are like GTA 5 NPC’s tryna take you out in the car especially circling the net your 2 other forwards are blocking the shooting lanes better then the other team then there’s where the A.I chases constantly like idk why it doesn’t go where the player is going to be just like it can when it does it to you on the same team when you rush it swear they play better Defensively against you and your in the same team and the puck battles are annoying af pretty much just a magnet flying around and the puck gets turned into a soccer ball with all that bugged out kicking and bouncing magnet
- more fluid manual deking - take out reverse hit from R3 - map puck protect to another button - bring back some stick lifts - tune the magnetic hit fest - tone down straight lining a tad - hopefully some changes to EASHL - better skating/cuts

As a hockey player myself I'm hyped they've finally incorporated LEGIT edge work into their skating animations. So tired of not being able to use my skates the way actual players do on the ice, so much technique in the skating of today's players... so this is a step in the right direction but still a lot to work on. With this being a next-gen only title this time around I'm sure that helps a little.
Ultimately, the thing undoing it for me is that the pressure meter is *still* there, which tells me it's still not toggleable, and therefore they still haven't addressed their greatest weaknesses as a developer. That being, attention to detail.

I don't think it should be as easy to attain, but that ish is realistic as hell... have you ever played D for a decent length of time trying to get the puck out of your zone? Super tiring lol. So I'm definitely all for the pressure meter... just make it a little harder to get.
Deep dive? That barely scratched the surface. I still got so many questions. Can I actually clear the puck on a PK and can I actually dump it in from the NZ? Is body checking better again or does it still feel soft and clunky?

Is it possible to turn off all of the visual aids, like puck shadow, player icons and the "pressure" monitor? I haven't played NHL since 14 and it just looks like so much clutter. I'd like to go back to the small indicator above the player head.

Proper net mesh physics is something I've been looking for a very long time. It's like since nhl 2005 they haven't been changed. It looks awful right now.
This does not justify charging full game price for NHL 25. At best, this should be an upgrade only otherwise ripping off the player base is what EA NHL is best at.
Currently, players can create different builds in Chell, such as sniper, dangler, enforcer, or grinder. I think it would be great if you could switch between your own builds during stoppages in play, like at whistles. Instead of traditional line changes with AI teammates, you'd be able to rotate between your own custom builds, giving you more control over how you approach different in-game situations. For example, you could swap to a grinder when you need to get physical or switch to a sniper when you're looking to score, adding more strategy and variety to the gameplay.
I'm still wondering about the shot and the cross check sharing the same control. In NHL24 if you try to shoot a loose puck you go into a cross check animation before you shoot it. If the puck is knocked off your stick right before you shoot again you cross check and get a penalty. This should not be in the game.

Need to make scoring harder and have Ai defense actually play hockey not just sit and watch a skater skate right around him fckin annoying.

I'm still wondering about the shot and the cross check sharing the same control. In NHL24 if you try to shoot a loose puck you go into a cross check animation before you shoot it. If the puck is knocked off your stick right before you shoot again you cross check and get a penalty. This should not be in the game.
Add presentation, atmosphere and better net touch physics and I will buy it

Also with a new made up term ICE Q! which probably consists of previous features that were removed in years past and now repackaged as a totally NEW EA NHL experience!!! Bruh give us what we want - simulation hockey with a beautiful rich presentation mode like you used to have. Thats literally all we want. Thx
