omg! This song has always been so special to me, as I would play and sing this song to soothe my kitten (he was a stray abandoned by his mom because of health issues) when I first brought him into my house. Now it always makes me think of him and that special moment he came into my life.
This is so sweet that it brought tears to my eyes.

I only discovered this song a year or so ago and it blew me away. I always thought the most romantic thing in the whole Bible wasn't anything from either Ruth or Song of Solomon, but when Adam first beheld his wife and said, "This is the bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh, I shall call her woman, for she came out of man."
It hits my heart in a way I can't explain. This song captures that feeling in a way so accurate that it sometimes hurts to listen.

Wha a beautiful depiction of Adam and Eve and the garden of eden. If sounds as beautiful as the garden must have looked like. I love when people can take a story and bring it to life like this with only words and melodies. Truly beautiful

I know the meaning behind this song, but it will forever be about my dog to me. She truly was the brightest shade of sunlight I had ever seen. And now that she’s gone, every time I hear “and you will surely be the death of me, but how could I have known?” I just want to burst out sobbing. Cause… how can you? You love with all your heart and then they’re gone. And with it… they take your heart.
This song captures such a specific feeling. A love that you know makes you who you are but also makes you change from it. I will always have this song even though my girl is gone.
After hearing the song Again, not only is this a reference to adam meeting eve and bewildered and captivated by her. But could be also depict in another context of new beginning and change of oneself undergoes after they meet a force or a person, like how a mother first saw and held their child, and saw in them, a kinship or bond and that they would change their life, or a even meeting a person that changes your life. Idk. But those are the thoughts that pop up in my head when listening to it again.
I always think of this song to be Adam singing to himself about Eve (which I know it is) and not regretting his decision of eating of the fruit as he could soend his life with the person he held closes of all.

As an autistic person, I thought I couldn't feel love. I never felt interest in romantic relationships.
Until I met her in an online game, over a year ago. We became close friends and people thought we were a lesbian couple, so we jokingly leaned into it. We met in real life, had an amazing time and she asked me if I wanted to try a real relationship for the first time. After thinking for weeks, I said yes. I was a bit scared, but with her I felt safe to try. I now think about her all the time. I've started feeling romantic attraction to her. (Another thing I thought I was incapable of.) I'm learning how to give affection which I love to give her. I couldn't have ever imagined meeting such a wonderful human to experience these new feelings with. She's the sweetest person.
