Ok, actually it's pretty average with a 100-200 best time of 8.05 seconds with 580hp and an average total weight of 1800kg. If you do a little search, you will find other cars that are either lighter or AWD, but with 580-600hp, the acceleration time is consistently between 7.3 and 8.5 seconds depending on the factors mentioned earlier.
A supercharger would make it even better.

Edit : Factory speedo only exaggerates by 1km/h. Impressively accurate.
No matter how hard Mercedes tries to pass the new C63 AMG as an actual AMG, it just wouldn’t be as it would only be an AMG by name alone. Well, at least in my personal opinion. Before anyone starts quoting figures, I don’t care that the new one with its super, hyper-complicated technology and near 5,000 lb. curb weight (4,600 lbs. to be accurate) could rocket to 60 faster than the human mind can comprehend and put out power figures just to toot their own horn and satisfy folks that are obsessed with bench racing and regulations. The soul of AMG lies happily in the W204 chassis and other old school AMGs alike. Even the W205 with its BiTurbo 4.0L V8 isn’t a bad car either. These cars give an emotionally memorable driving experience that the newer, shinier ones don’t IMHO. Also, for anyone that would mock the M156 and it’s HP figures, the M156 and M157 engines can take well to upgrades, though it may be slightly more costlier on the M156, but it’s worth it. Anyone that thinks otherwise is free to disagree with me.
Sorry for my rant lol. Just miss the old school AMG’s hooligan, fun loving nature in this era of electrification and downsizing.
Supercharger is one and only thing that makes better any car. It is not n/a it has supercharger

I also love the S65 N/A V8 in my BMW E92 M3 Coupe (as long as you upgrade the throttle actuators from plastic to metal) and the S85 N/A V10 in the BMW E60 M5. I also adore the 4.2lt N/A V8 in the 2006 AUDI RS4 B7. I’ve always preferred the sound and linear power delivery of N/A engines.
Edit : I even love the S54 N/A inline 6 in the BMW E46 M3.
@@skarademirlidag From 2008-2014 the C63AMG had the M156 6.2lt N/A V8 (badged as a 6.3lt).
This car sounds insane. I was out with family once at night and we came across a red C63 AMG. It was so loud and the downshifts scared my little sister 😂

Good sound, proper V8 rumble, no stupid artificial sounds coming from the speakers, no smoothbrain teenager tune to spit too much gas and make artificial pops and bangs. This is the real deal, fantastic.

@@UltimateDan1 aaah so that means no cats anymore at all. Must be brutal! p.S. I have a calcite white C63 P31 as well. Looks pretty much exactly the same with the silver wheels 😀 only difference is I have to fold down the rear seats and take out the trunk divider board (where the spare wheel is underneath) to have some sound in the cabin 😂 I wonder what that "trick" would sound like in yours!

AMG stopped being relevant the moment this engine left their stable. They even finally ironed out all the issues and were ready to trickle down the SLS stuff to normal cars with good reliability

I own this car. I supercharged it and it is a wonderful car to drive. You need to treat it with respect. It is a event everytime you go for a drive. It is a relic from the past. A dinosaur. It will end up in a museum. There is nothing quite like it and I doubt there will be ever be again in the future.
Friend had one for a couple of years i got to drive it a lot of times. Much more exciting and raw than any sedan nowadays.
Im glad i own one been a owner of a c63 w204 ppp for 6 years now and it feels like i bought it yesterday never get sick of driving these machines there amazing and solid cars, mean up load this thing sounds like a volcano eruption

I had this car as a C300 13 years ago. I always watched jealous to the W212, because it was way bigger. Then I had 2 W212. All in all I would rather grab a W212 AMG with Bi-Turbo and 585 hp stock, plus 4MATIC. Then I would flash the Command and give it a modern navigation system based on Android. Then I would give it ambient-lightning. Today I have a V222 S500/S550. It's really powerful.

As an owner, I highly recommend this car. The only real negative is the gearbox is a bit average.

@@DAILYACCELARATION it’s slow, and not as smooth as an auto. So basically none of the benefits of a dual clutch, none of the benefits of an auto, but all the downsides of both.
Nunca supe mucho sobre autos y mecánica, pero cuando ví ese vehículo en un lavadero de autos en mi ciudad, instantaneamente me enamoré de la calidad de construcción y como se camufla como sedan familiar en la ciudad teniendo un poderío inmenso bajo el capó.
