After of doing everything in the Microsoft suite for a month, I decided to back to Google for email, calendar and document management. I still have a personal MS 365 account where I have desktop apps, and I have Basic license so I can use Teams. Lastly, I had a very bad customer service experience, completely turned me off.

4 months ago, I was using the Whiteboard while on Google Meet. For whatever reason, it kept messing up the computer. As in the laptop would be restarting every time whiteboard was on during a Google Meet conference. I tried a bunch of times and the same thing happened. I'll try to test this out again and see if the recent updates to both Google Meet and whiteboard have resolved this issue. I like the whiteboard's features. Though now, Google Meet has this "jamboard" thing that's also cool.

My mother is a Math teacher and she recently started learning and using both Office apps for remote teaching so I think it could be interesting to see pros and cons on using both apps that are also available through MS Teams.
The thing we use most on whiteboards are dry wipe markers. So much so I would only regard a virtual whiteboard as a whiteboard if there were some way of replicating a dry wipe pen.... Other than trying to use the mouse.

One question I have is, if a whiteboard is associated to a meeting, but you have multiple meetings on the same topic, can you easily associate a previous meeting whiteboard with new calendar events? I assume if you set recurring calendar events it would work that way, but sometimes that's not possible to do with many participants.
Very interesting video. I was considering uninstalling the whiteboard app that came preinstalled thinking that it might be some usual bloatware. It's obviously not and very useful. I'll be using it for my mathematics practice. Thanks.
What do you use to write on the whiteboard? I see that typing takes long especially if you are working out some mathematics problems with so many symbols.
What about if i want to create a meeting with people outside my Organization (so outside my Teams...in Teams). I would like to use the whiteboard during an online meeting and every "guest" could see what I'm writing. I don't mind if they cannot write. Also most "guests" use a tablet for participating. Within the mobile teams app (Android) i dont have any whiteboard button...so how would i proceed with this? Thank you

You just Microsoft Whiteboard my friend. I have a "How to do it" question. I have Surface Pro 8. But, I like to do my Zoom meetings on my big computer screen instead. During the Zoom meetings, sometimes I want to explain with my handwritten notes and drawings. If I write on Whiteboard on Surface, how can I show my notes, live, on my computer screen?
Hi there. We are driven very much by client communication e.g. as per your examples of adding emails to Tasks/To Do. However, if that requirement is part of a "project" in Planner, there appears to be no way to copy/sync/send the Task to Planner? You can set things up in Planner and add to To Do but not the other way around?
Never used this whiteboard, nor teams, have an upcoming meeting more like q and a, how responsive is the whiteboard to just drawing writing comments, labeling etc, just like a real whiteboard discussion. thanks.

Yes, I experienced the same issue. However, the last few versions of Microsoft Whiteboard seem to have resolved this problem.
