Honestly Jonathan, you're a very good teacher. I'm not a tech consultant like you and many of your followers. I run Small Business Premium and being able to use these tools myself is important to me (without having to hire a consultant to explain them, at least their "basic" uses). You're fantastic and your clients are lucky to have you. Keep it up.
Thanks for the excellent video Jonathan, as always. Whiteboard is great for collaboration online, and even for F2F meetings when one wants to easily revisit / edit the meeting outputs at a later date, unlike photos of a tangible wall of Post-It notes. Desktop client... I note from experimentation, that desktop client of Whiteboard only works when one has an internet connection. No good when travelling and there's no signal. It seems the desktop client won't even open if there is no internet connection. Real shame, as one can't use offline time such as on a flight or train, to prep for upcoming meetings or work. I can see use-cases for Whiteboard for none collaborative use (I'm a visual thinker!), but not if I can't connect. I guess I'll have to keep using OneNote. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Love this tutorial! Quick and easy! Hoping to get a call back for a possible new job. It will be primarily remote and this will be very helpful!! Thank you!
Really useful. BUT I notice that, like me, you do not have the 'My Templates' option in templates. If I want to reuse the same Whiteboard from scratch in multiple meetings, how do I do it?
How do you use the Loop component in the whiteboard? Are there any plans to add links/arrows that attach to shapes (for instance, when you are using a network diagram, the connectors adjust as you move shapes around)?
Hi Jonathan, I recall watching a video that gave details how to capture real time whiteboard post-it-notes via a camera whereby AI can convert the post it note text into a spreadsheet. Do you have any idea where I can find the details of this feature? Many thanks
Hi Jonathan, tks a mill for showing us MS Whiteboard. 2 quick questions please. 1- what equip are you using to write on the Whiteboard. Is it smart tablet or is it one of those digital notepads like wacom. 2. if teaching a group of students maths (online) and you want them to work on a maths problem individually but at the same time during a online class (but you as teacher want to see their work in real time. How can this be done using MS Whiteboard?
I can't find the Follow me feature anywhere, not like it's shown in this video, not by clicking on my avatar, both with my work and personal account. Also tested this on the site of Microsoft Whiteboard, web-based Teams and desktop Teams. Has this feature been removed?
This tutorial was disappointing. What the author outlined was basically a glorified use of shapes in a MS word document. There is no mention here of how to use a pen and tablet with whiteboard. There is also no mention of whether there is text recognition or not. This is what I would want to use an electronic whiteboard for: drawing with a pen and writing text and then having it saved in a searchable way. Perhaps you can edit and me submit?

Mr. Jonathan, you have explained the tutorial in detail. Thanks for the detailed information.
Thank you Jonathan, the college where I teach has 365. Excited to try Whiteboard out with my students. Very well and thoroughly explained.

But macbook doesn't have such features as video to be inserted or image searching...?
Thank you
Saved. Thank you so.
can you copy paste boards?
I don’t think so. But you can duplicate

Whiteboard need dynamic connectors
too many *woosh* sound effects
Something else to confuse our users and cause problems for us technicians as if onedrive and teams hasn’t caused enough.
How do you mean?
