We enjoyed raining cats and dogs…it is basically a book full of idioms. My 8 year old daughter really got a kick out it. Teaching Children is a GREAT resource. A super easy read. A lot of good information in that book!

Through many libraries (check locally), families can get a free book every month for their child until age 5. Thanks Dolly Parton! I had many of them when my kids were younger.

I came over from Sweetie Birds Home. I read Baseball Saved Us to my older children years ago when they were young. Hopefully I'll read it to my little ones when we get back to that time period in history.
