I left Costco cheesecake in the freezer for six months, are they still good to eat? Or should I trash it?
I think it is fine being in the freezer that long, it might have freezer burn on the outside depending on how you stored it but that will just change the taste it won't hurt you.
If you are saying could you still put it in the freeze dyer yes I would at least.
What settings did you use?
My freeze dryer is really (old 9+yrs) before they had settings, it freezes for 7 hrs and then dries for at least 9 or until there isn't any moisture detected by the machine.

What settings do u use please
My machine is one of the originals so I just have to turn it on and it automatically freezes for 7 hrs and dryes for at least that unless there is a lot of moisture then it automatically keeps drying until the moisture is low. I always test the biggest piece in the batch to make sure the middle is dry. That is all I do, sorry I am not more help than that.
So everytime you want to eat a piece you have to reseal it
If I am going to eat the jar in the next 3-6 months I don't reseal it.if I am storing it in my pantry for longer than 6 months I will seal it.

My freeze dryer is the old style where there weren't settings, I can change the time up and down but that is it. Sorry I can't help with this.
