    Aren't bidets illegal in the United States? No store I know of carries them, and even during the toilet paper crisis of 2020, people refused to sell them.

    • @countrysparkles
      @countrysparkles 13 днів тому

      No they are definitely not illegal in the US, they are just not standard in every home like it is in Europe. Americans just haven't grown up with them so why would stores carry them. During 2020 I think there was more of a shortage like everything, not people refusing to sell them. They are easy to buy on Amazon.

      Awful!! 😞 The head kept falling down and I tried everything including epoxy to try and keep it up! I am so disappointed in the product I only keep the video up because installation is the same for most shower heads to help people with that. I will get one like this next time with a different locking thing that looks like it holds up better. amzn.to/3KK0Ldj I would also recommend installing it as soon as you get it so you have plenty of time to test it out while you can return it. Good luck!

    Another question. I either missed it or it wasn't addressed. How necessary are oxygen absorbers or vacuum sealing? I know everybody says you should but I never have. I haven't done alot of dehydrating but what I have dehydrated onions, garlic, jalapenos celery have been ok so far.

    • @countrysparkles
      @countrysparkles Місяць тому

      By using oxygen absorbers and vacuum sealing it just extends the dryness so they stay good longer. If I am using within the year I don't normally do it.

    I had to come back and subscribe. I've been par baking my potatoes for ages for freezing. I've only shredded them for hash browns so far and was wondering if they could be dehydrated. So far you're the only one I've see dehydrate shredded potatoes from par baked potatoes so thank you for confirming. I tried shredding in my food processor but they are more like tiny pieces and not shreds. After 1 potato I stopped and used my box grater. I would think I could dehydrate the tiny pieces and run them through a coffee grinder for mashed potatoes. Any thoughts on if this would work?

    • @countrysparkles
      @countrysparkles Місяць тому

      I definitely think blending them up while dry will get you yummy mashed potatoes when you rehydrate them! Thank you so much for the follow! This video took a lot of work but I love how so many people have been able to use it!

      @@countrysparkles Thanks for going through all the work. I know how much work it is. After my food processor didn't shred I've hand shredded 20 large potatoes and have 7 more waiting in the fridge and I'm beat so it is much appreciated. I definitely thought putting them in the grinder AFTER they were dehydrated was a better idea. Your follow thru from beginning to end and how you rehydrate was also very helpful.

    Am I supposed to screw the brood box to the base? And screw the brood to the super,or just set them precariously on top and hope they don't blow off?

    • @countrysparkles
      @countrysparkles Місяць тому

      You can screw the brood box to the base that is what we do, but many don't it is a personal preference. You DO NOT want to screw any other boxes together since you will need to check on your bees in each box about every 2 weeks to make sure they are healthy and doing well and so you know when you need to add boxes for growth, or take away boxes for harvesting or winter prep. I was really worried at first about them all falling off too, they get heavier with brood and honey in them, but to prevent wind or even animal intrusion you will want to put a strap around the whole beehive to hold it all together. We like these: amzn.to/3KSDMwR

    What a nightmare! Wouldn’t you know. My glass looked horrible and I really hate it. I went to take the springs off. Wouldn’t you know there is always one screw that won’t budge. I tried WD40. I tried the Blaster! Nothing. So I gave up. I was able to pry it up enough to get a paint stick with a cloth in between to somewhat clean it. At least it’s better than before. But it seems I have more holes than screws. The black spacers on both sides of the door. I only have one screw for each side. Is that right? I have the diagram but they are awful pictures when it came to details. You by far had the best video of two days of watching about how to fix my stove. Thank you for that. ❤

    So I have the same oven. I have been looking everywhere to find out how to clean the front inside glass. There are two pieces that are screwed in that metal cover. I think the only way to clean those glass windows is to remove the hinges like you did. I was actually afraid to touch those screws to release the springs because they look so tight. I was thinking they would come apart and somehow be a danger. Do you ever clean between this glass?Mine looks awful. I had a flame coming from the bottom of the oven and scared the heck out of me. Haven’t used it since. Thought I should do a clean, although my oven doesn’t seem to be that dirt. I was also trying to get to find a picture of what the screws look like that are holding those dark strips along side the springs. It’s almost impossible looking them up on line. Does your oven make a popping sound when starting and also when cooking? Thanks for the video.

    My door has two glass windows that are all attached with the metal frame. There is no way to separate them u less you remove the springs, which I am not going to do. Then there is another glass piece that I see in your video and then the front frame that holds all together. It’s in pieces on my kitchen island. I give up trying to clean the double pain window because those springs look evil. I’m just hoping the pieces will go together nicely. I used duct tape but it didn’t hold and the handle fell off anyway. Wish me luck

    Oil is different than good. Milk jugs are hdpe. And hope is the most common material for all long term water storage. And is 100% fine to use milk jugs for water storage. The oils may be decomposing them. But they are not biodegradable. They do Photodegrade so make sure they are not exposed to UV radiation. And can be harder to sanitize. I have water in some milk jugs 9+ years. Used some a few months go when we had the need and water was good.

      Hmmm so you are saying that you already have it stuck to the wall right? I haven't tried to remove it but I would try to carefully pry it off the tile first if you get it off but then order some double sided sticky tape to re stick it and then use goo gone to get the rest of the other sticky stuff off. If you can't pry it off I would try goo gone all around it to in stick it.
