  • This was the second time using the harbor freight concrete mixer and this time we got some Lemi-shine to test. Does the Lemi-shine really make a difference, you be the judge...

I can't believe I watched 4 minutes of rinsing brass.

Wet cleaning without decapping is not the way to go. In a short time, primer will corrode in the casing. Resizing will just blow the primer bottom - scrapping the case.

I like the fact it is so benchtop portable, ;-) Good job

KILLER. Maybe using a very powerful (not destuctive) to the still soing brass in an ultrasonic cleaner might bust up the really dirty cases. Brass is out of sight now.

Go easy on the Lemi-Shine and don't leave them in water with the lemi-Shine overnight or it will discolor the cases.

    Super idea!

Dish soap and citric acid powder(lemishine) minimal on the citric acid like 1/2 teaspoon for this large load.

What are you using as your screen? That looks sturdy.

You don't mess around when cleaning brass .

So the primer pockets are still nasty... Must deprime first.

For Pistol ammo, just do yourself a test. Deprime 10-20 and clean as you do. Then, don't deprime the same amount and load the same. Then go to your range and shoot the first five of each over a chrono, and what difference is made. You can make a video, shoot the next five at 2 targets at the same distance and show what the difference is.

Depends on cleaning method. I deprimed a batch of .38 and then dry tumbled and it was a pain in the ass getting the pocket free of debris

Nope, probably would polish them up, but wasn't worried about polish just clean. Polished doesn't shoot any better or worse than dull. Thanks for watching.
