Seeing the first lot of roots come out, then realizing that the flush did not sound right, you put your machine into action again succesfully clearing the rest of the root's. YOU DESERVE TO GIVE YOURSELF A BIG PAT ON THE BACK!!! for a job well done, nice one, great video....
Roots, the gift that keeps on giving!!! Great video as always! (side note, i can finesse my little rigid K40 through some rather large roots, but this would have trashed my machine, lol!)
Great video and amazing what was in that pipe. For all those roots to be in the drain doesn't there have to be cracks in the pipe? Do these pipes need to be replaced or can this go on without further repair?
Most likely, a crack or break in the lines in one or more places. But it all depends, with regular maintenance they might be able to live with it for a while. Thanks 👍
Well how about that! Definitely an excellent day to go fishing 😂😂. Nice on though! That was definitely a lot of roots! But never too much to get the job done! 💪🏽💪🏽
This looks like the perfect job for the DC😍😍💪🏿💪🏿. But I know I know over there where you work it's not the main tool used. They have to pay big money to get the jetter. LOL. But dang the DC would totally love this one.
I heard that the small double blade isn’t the best for roots bc you have a chance of getting stuck. Heard others use a 3in half a blade. Should give this a try.
@@NYDRAINS Cause Ive gotten stuck with the small double blade (same as yours) one time and now I’m feeling nervous going out to the street bc of any broken line or roots.
@MoonkaiYT now, if you got stuck with my blade, going larger really won't make it better! We're going in blind so you'll bound to get stuck sooner or later! Starting or using a smaller blade, in my opinion, is smarter.
@MoonkaiYT no, it's a 2 inch blade, not a double blade. A 3 inch would do a better job, but your chances of getting stuck or snagged up will be more highly with a 3 inch.
You found the fabled Anaconda sewer snake!!! Wowsers!!! Quite the catch for such a humble person. (laugh, dang nabbit) lol!!! Oh, dang!! You found the Anaconda's baby!!! Whoo hoo!!! OH crap!!! You found Daddy Anaconda!!!
Lovely Job, Cant wait to see that water go down, so how is it wired to the toilets and all? isnt it a street drain? why are the toilets connected to it? also, youve got to bring weed killer along with you just in case. Edit: oh wait, so they basicly got the house pipe on the left going down to sewers, but then theres the outside one that goes streight down to the house one, thats way to small for toilet paper to fit down there and it will smell realy bad down there.
I stumbled upon this and was delightfully delighted! Root Root Root!!
I bet the pipes o the city link are full as well.
It's a ROOT EXTRAVAGANZA!
Without a dout!
That were some massive root clusters. Great job.
They sure were a monster, thanks 👍
WOWWEE!! That was a LOT of roots!! Good job!!

Lmao, the DC is overkill 😆😆. Also would have covered that house in so much shit with the angle of that pipe
@@vids2002 lmao
One could say, you found the....root cause!
Lol 👍
Drop the root treatment down there great job really well done
Thanks again 👍
@@NYDRAINS hell yeah
Woof! what a root!
👍
All the trees here on my block in NJ have mysteriously been sucked back into the ground. I think I know where they all went. 😜
Lol 😆🤣
Good lord in the morning. That’s crazy how much more?
Wow the roots. Why didn't you add the root killer foam? I haven't seen you yet?
Something the customer wasn't willing to pay for! Time will tell 😉
three fine specimens!
Definitely 👍
Hey I like your video . I have a question what always there are tu cap.
In and out 🏠----U-----🌳 separated by a U trap. Thanks 👍
That was awwwwsome! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
👍👍
Do you have a video snake camera like Ollie(Drain Addict) have?
Yes.
With that many roots would you recommend they install a new sewer line?
Definitely
I agree with the homeowner: that tree has got to go!
That's a uber amount of roots!!!! And some dessert for Ratty!
🪱🐀👍
That’s a trophy!

Absolute unit
😉👍

You'll definitely get stuck with a double blade , I tend to get stuck more often with the 3-inch blades. The 2-inch blade works best for me

How long will it take for those roots to grow back and become a problem?
They grow back every year so it will always be a problem unfortunately
I have always wondered what is on your gloves is it for easier grip
Pvc chips/rocks for protection and grip.
Hello, great job
Hi 👋👋 thanks again 👍
Wow, no wonder it was clogged!
🤔😉👍
Good job
Thanks 👍
about how long does it take for that amount of roots to grow BACK? 6 months? 1 year? More?
To grow back? I say a few or several years 🤔
What’s them black dots on your gloves??? Anyone else wonder this??
Lol pvc chips for protection/grip for protection and grip
All good!
😉👍
Time for him to rent a backhoe for the weekend and put in a new line of PVC
Lol maybe 🤔
Was this job better than a basement full of spiders and feces?
Definitely 😉👍
A great specimen
Definitely 👍
Nicely done!
Do you fry that kind of trout, or do you make a nice stew?🍿🍿😃
I prefer stew lol 😆thanks again 👍

Check with the city's mains in the street first before you do anything on your property...
They may have holding mains plummers are expensive!!!
been feeding well
Oh definitely!
Between the roots, baby wipes and soap and etc...you're fighting a uphill battle, eh?
😉👍
😳😳 holy crap that’s a lot of roots I’m surprised this is the first time it’s back up. Great video 💜
Definitely not the first time! Thanks again for your support 🙏👍
Yeah, it has to be done about every 2 years or so.
Tell that homeowner goof , do not neglect your sewer !
He's trying!
what does the finger pointing mean??
Let's you know when I'm pulling back the snake 👈
@@NYDRAINS Ohh Preciate it,btw keep up the fire content

Dumb question - are those pebbles glued to your gloves??
Kind of, I bought them like that.

The clean out is small but connected to a 4 inch line that connects to a 6 inch down the line, usually more than enough to handle the load 😉
Looked like beaver skins being pulled out.
Lol
I guess tree roots are a problem every where there is a drain. But that’s great news for a drain cleaner. Looks like a interesting job.😎👍🏻
Definitely 👍
Anyone else wonder what's on his gloves?
Yup all the time, it's pvc chips for grip and protection, link in the description.
Drain snake 49.95 looking over my shoulder 100.00
Lol
Now thats where the sewer access should be.. out not in..
👍
No Flowin Like a River on this one lol
Lol 😉
Wow it's good until the roots grow back in there
🤔👍
You hit the mother load of roots and that last one that came out made me jump. Amazing to watch thank you 🤗🍎🐀🌽💯✌️🔨
Lol 😆thanks again 👍
Another happy ending.
Lol 😆
I am GROOT!!!!
😉👍
whaaah hoooo bad hair day
Lol
How do roots get in the pipe?
Through cracks, joints, separations ect.
Ok
Insane. Cut that tree down and dig it up
Not the trees fault. Get you sewer lateral re-lined.
I was a nice looking tree 🌳🙂
