    After 40 years of experiencing back ups you would thing the guy would clean up the basement. You would also expect the guy to tell the wife to back off on the laundry soap powder. He was prepared for the gusher with the trash bag behind the trap and the garbage can underneath. I guess he learned something during the 40 years. 🤣🤣

      You tell him Mike! You’re 100% right but they should’ve taken that rat trap out in the first place years ago like I would’ve done and then I would’ve put a tee in with a clean out just in case along with a vent to go with the one that’s already there, done them before.

      He's probably overwhelmed with all that shit in the basement. He doesn't even know where to start if he were to clean it out. I see it all the time with seniors. Young people do it also. They also waste money on storage.

    Mercifully for the customer that was a lovely clean job.
    If he ever has a bad flood one day, that basement is going to be a hell of a clean up operation.
    You do seem to have a lot of problems with soap residue in the US, in the UK most people seem to use liquid detergent these days.
    You have some lovely tree colour in NY state, we dont really get the intense cold here in the UK very often, so the colours are not so vibrant.
    Best wishes from Wales.👍

    • @azmrblack
      @azmrblack Рік тому +2

      It's not going to matter if he does or not - the entire pipe is backed up and under pressure. All of that released at once is going to come pouring out with force of the street side if he does it that way anyways. Jumping the trap is also very difficult with a rigid cable machine.

    1:07 Hello Donald; another perfect example Donald as to why you should invest into one of those Milwaukee backpacks with a switchable drum if you needed it (which I don’t think you would need to have two different drums. They do have cable sizes in 5/8 inch and 3/4 inch so you do have a choice.) You get one with the good battery in it will last you all day I have a battery back up for mine, meaning I have two batteries just in case I have a real busy day. Good videos all the time. I’m sorry people are stupid like that. where they think they got to save every little thing like it’s gonna be in a museum someday but it makes your job so much tougher to negotiate that Spartan power auger through! I did a job up in Meriden, Conn. couple weeks ago with the rat trap and I wish the guy that I gave my phone to video the gush knew how to run the phone, despite him saying that he did and missed it because he shut it off before the gush which would’ve put some of your good gushes to shame because it was a pretty good one! A business and two-story house above so three stories of poop and paper to come through, it was a real good one!
    Keep up the good work, Donald but try to work smarter not harder and invest in your sanity because you could’ve put that right on your back and walked through all of that. Have a good week.

      @@joehasberryjr7398 hot water will do it over time, but that's another expense. Use liquid laundry detergent in the first place.

      Preventative maintenance is usually the key. Powdered soaps usually big up fast. The other types, the pitch of the pipes, types of material, and poor drainag, play a big part also 😉
