Looks amazing. I can't wait for this model to be released
Hi Tom, thank you for sharing the build of this much anticipated upcoming kit. I appreciate that you shared your mistakes and showed how to work with them. You achieved a beautiful finish in the end. I look forward to your next video. Take care, James
I just got one of these PS-290 airbrushes and I love it! It would be great to see you do a complete review of it, with air pressures you use with certain paints and all. Excellent work and thank you for sharing!!
Looks great Tom I'm, looking forward to seeing the finished build...
Very nice! Did a great job buffing out the crap!
Looking good so far mate! Looking forward to seeing the rest of the being put together and what you’ve got planned for it
Food:D i guess u meant good:)
@@Atte123 😂 yeah was eating while watching the video! Cleary know what I was thinking about!
@@autostradamacchina lmfao
See I have a lot to learn when it comes to painting cars. Thank you for a good video.
That was fast rewiew and start in well done mate
This kit’s looks so great, I’m looking forward for more videos.
Looks great ill look forward to this aoshima kit to hit rhe shelfs over here
Very nice. I liked that drill tool that you used for polishing. Also I didn’t know that Gravity makes those compounds, I will be looking for that.
That looks absolutely amazing
Looks awesome so far, will be watching. Rick 🤓✌️
Looking nice. I think when this comes out I will get one and do it in white with the wine colored interior.
How did this dude get the model already? Did Aoshima send it to him for free?
@@Atte123
Yeah, in the last video he had said he had teamed up with aoshima to do a couple of builds. Stay safe
@@Johnny-tt8zc what else aoshima builds is he gonna do?
Looks great!!!!!!!!!!
Hi any tips on removing paint off plastic or resin models, great channel 👍🏻💯
I have had this problem so many times let me tell you I’ve messed up so many builds with different methods. Don’t use aircraft remover it melts the plastic. The best method that leaves the plastic in perfect condition is acetone. Soak it in acetone and rub it off. Repeat the process until paint is removed.
I never used this method, but someone in my past said oven cleaner works.
@@dannypino3130 thanks very much will try this out 👍🏻thanks again
@@CSdiecasttuning Acetone is actually a great budget paint thinner too. Works for lacquer also. I use it for removing paint and thinning paints too. It’s very cheap so it’s a great tool. About 1 or 2 dollars. You can also buy it in gallons. I buy my thinners like that. 👍🏼
@@dannypino3130 thanks didn’t realise I had been using it to remove decals 👍🏻💯only , didn’t know 👍🏻
It's on it's way!
Nice Work!!!
awesome job as allway's
So KOOOOOLLLL . Awesome .
Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These Tamiya, Aoshima and Fujimi kits drive me crazy. How do you know if the engine bonnet opens to show the engine or is even showing the engine at all. How are we to know if it's a curbside kit or a regular model full kit? Can someone educate me on this please?
At least I know with AMT, their "Showroom Replicas" they are "curbside" kits.
How you finding the new airbrush, bought one after seeing it on the last video ?
You not getting on well with the fan tip ?
Was having some trouble, figured it all out now. And love it!
Will you make a Q&A?
Good Job👍
Do you know when this kit comes out?
June/juli
Looks really good!!!! How happy are you with your spray stand ?
From a scale of 1 to happy. I’m happy with it!
Hi! Bob Smith Super Gold Plus is not available in our country, can I use "Bob Smith Industries Adhesive - Maxi-Cure Extra Thick S-F504" as replacement for the glue? Thank you!
It will leave a white haze. So don’t use it for clear parts or highly visible areas
So only the Super Gold Plus in the Bob Smith line is good?
@@jesseharoldhilario5072 that all depends on what you want to use it for. All glues have their pro’s and cons. Have a look on the bob smith wbesite to see wich glues do what.
Btw can I polish my model car without sanding if it doesnt have clear coat on it?
Your sanding the clearcoat inorder to polish it. If you polish the color coat. It will remove color. I would not advise to do this. Only if you plan to apply more color
@@TheScalemodelingChannel okay thx!
Wow. Good job~!
I have a video suggestion: How to safely ship a completed model.
Hi Tom, when you leave the paint to cure, do you leave it in the paint booth with the extractor fan on or do you put the model somewhere else? Im new to modelling so I’m wondering how to eliminate dust and imperfections. Many Thanks
When painting i leave it in the booth. After the final clear coat i leave it in the booth with the fan on for an hour or so. After that its dry enough for dust not to stick to it.
@@TheScalemodelingChannel Okay, should I leave the extractor on between coats or only after the final clear coat? I assume that this method also applies to Tamiya spray paints which is what I will be using? Many Thanks.
When your going to be painting. And keep painting. Leave it on. Its not for dust specificaly. More so to remove fumes.
@@TheScalemodelingChannelAwesome, thanks for answering my questions! I’m a big fan of Liberty Walk cars and this looks like a really good, promising kit so I’m looking forward to watching you build it.✌️
What kind of rpm did you use for the 3000 grit pad please? My paint always comes out dirty like this but I've always just thought it was keep it as is or strip and start again, I've never tried sanding it back
The lowest possible on the rotory tool
Nice
Where can i buy this paints ?
Links are in the video description ;)
👍😮🍻
you always do awesome work, this is no exception. So because I'm anal retentive, maybe its time to put down some new paper and a new filter for the booth. just watching and my nose hairs are tingling and crusty. I wish you could afford a micro mark booth. :(
Why do these model companies charge such exorbitant prices for their kits? I can buy a finished highly detailed model painted and assembled for 1/5 of the price the want for a kit!
This kit is not even released yet. And i’m pretty sure it will cost around €30,-. So i’m not sure i’m following your point
@@TheScalemodelingChannel it would be a good value at €30.
What i see online is lots of model kits for over €100 thats what I am refering to. Im Generalizing too much I guess. I love your videos!
Regular plastic model kits are priced between €15 and €50 ish
