- If you live on the West Coast you know how the weather has been with rain every week with small patches of dryness.. Well Josh and I decided to hit Rollins Lake in Colfax Ca during one of those patches..

They just had a bass tourney there and seemed like the spots were biting a bit! I often forget about the trout there these days, but looks good!

Hey nice video and good catches is there any good bank fishing for trout at Rollins or is it only good if you have a boat
Appreciate it, there are people fishing from the shore all the time and I have heard they do some catching. I myself haven't fishe it from the shore yet
Can you recommend a good place to fish from the bank?
Good bank spots for trout are Pardee, Amador and Collins.. all te other lakes of course you can catch from the shore however the above lakes are pretty known for their bank fishing

People do catch them at Rollins from the bank off Rollins Lake Road.. justvstay on the main lake side.. better to drive 1hr to Collins though.. way better chance at trophy size trout
