- I breakdown everything I know about Rollins Lake as pertains to Bass Fishing. Starting at the ramp and going all the way around the lake while explaining what is there and what to look for. If you are planning a trip there or want to know what I have found this is the video to watch.
Randy Blauket woulda charged me $69.99 for that break down! 😂 Good stuff
He is probably trying to figure out how to invoice me for my own knowledge. Lol
I’ve never trusted those breakdowns if they’ve never actually been there. I’ll trust a local before a pro on any given day.
Thank is how I feel! Every water is different and the little things are what help get bit sometimes.
Great video man !!!
Thanks for the info
No problem. Thanks for watching!
thanks for the info
No problem. Hope it helps!
@@straithookedfishing it definitely will, decided late to fish this weekend tournament so I’m clueless about that lake
Im gonna need a complete breakdown of the California delta next. All 1200 miles of shoreline 😅
Lol. It was 40 minutes for a tiny lake. I couldn't imagine how many hours the Delta would be.
@@straithookedfishing you would have to break down a section at a time. Even then good luck.
@@paulferber7090 Right! And I am sure I would get some death threats along with it. Haha
@@straithookedfishing 🤣 the delta rat’s would hunt you down!!!
100%
There is grass at greenhorn access all year round
That is awesome info! Thank you.
🔥🔥🔥💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Thank you! Thank you!
Just out of curiosity, what’s the biggest bass caught out of that lake? Also, is that boat launch from Bet Road available to the public?
I’ve been told to head up there because it’s more of a quantity than quality (and very fun) lake to go to. I’m just waiting for longer days to maximize my time.
The lake is small enough I don't think they keep track of lake records. I have seen personally numerous 5 to 6 pounds. There could be larger easily with the trout available. As far as ramp I have only used Orchard Springs.
@@straithookedfishing thank you. I’m thinking about hitting this lake before the warmer days hit. Gives time to have the lake to anglers only lol
@@JoKenFujitsu it should be a good time. There are mostly spotted bass. They usually stay active through weather changes. Hopefully something I said helps a little. Good luck!
@@straithookedfishing I’ll give update, when I can make it, for sure
Where is the best place on Rollins Lake for bank fishing for catfish??? I live in Nevada City and what other lakes do you like for catfish? I have done okay at Collins but I would like to know more about catfishing in Western Nevada Couty!! Thanks!
I am not 100% on catfish but there are a couple places that you can get to on Rollins. Greenhorn camp ground, You Bet Road and Rollins lake road has some pull outs I see people fishing from consistently.
Hey I live in grass valley. Let's go fishing.
